Chapter 123 Epilogue (1) Early the next morning, Luo Ran...
The next morning, Luo Ran opened her eyes in bed, but there was no one beside her.
On the balcony, a person wearing only pajamas stood barefoot on the outer edge of the balcony, his body straight as a fragile wooden pole, as if he could fall off at any moment with the slightest breeze.
"Ah Li!"
The scene before him made Luo Ran's eyes widen in horror. He didn't have time to think and practically scrambled to the balcony.
"Ah Li, please don't do anything rash! Don't leave me alone! Ah Li! I beg you!"
"We can still have a future. I can handle anything!"
"Ah Li, please, no, please don't! Ah Li!"
Alpha screamed and begged desperately.
However, the young man simply turned around, his pale face as white as an angel's.
He smiled and said, "It doesn't matter anymore."
He leaped down like a deer.

[After you died, the male lead finished arranging your funeral and then committed suicide. So the final result is that both male leads died.] The system reported the situation from the previous world, paused, and before Fu Li could ask any more questions, continued, [However, due to the original collapse of the previous world, and the fact that you did complete the character's life trajectory, headquarters' approval is 'Mission Complete'.]
[Furthermore, because the original storyline had flaws, headquarters, as a reward and compensation, cancelled out all of your sentence at once.]
Fu Li was no longer sleepy. He hadn't expected such a big surprise.
Intrigued, he asked, "So, does that mean I can be released after serving my sentence?"
The system's monotonous electronic voice paused, then announced: [Host's sentence has been reset to zero; labor reform has been suspended.]
[Unbinding in progress. Ten, nine, eight, seven...]
【III.2.】
【I. Unbinding successful.】
In the stark white room, a gray hibernation pod slowly opened in the center. A group of medical staff and lab technicians immediately rushed forward and hurriedly removed the various tubes and wires from the young man's body.
A man in military uniform walked over, saluted Fu Li, and said in a steady voice, "On behalf of the Cosmic Labor Reform Bureau, I hereby officially approve the expiration of your sentence. Congratulations on becoming a legal interstellar citizen again."
The young man, having just emerged from the hibernation pod, slumped weakly in a chair, undergoing a check-up by staff while offering a smile: "Thank you. I never imagined a five-hundred-year sentence would end in release." A humorous smirk played on his lips.
After undergoing various tests and being observed in the hospital for twelve hours, Fu Li put on the space pirate outfit he wore before his arrest, walked past the military police armed with electromagnetic guns, and swaggered out of the laboratory gate.
A discreet starship was parked outside. Fu Li squinted slightly and recognized the tall, long-legged man who stepped out of the cabin.
"Oh, isn't this General? You've also been sent to a labor camp?" he said jokingly.
A pair of sky-blue military trousers fit the man's legs perfectly, the star insignia on the brim of his hat gleamed, and beneath the brim was a cool and handsome face with sharp eyebrows and cold phoenix eyes.
"Fu Li, I've come to pick you up." He turned and opened the car door.
No further words were needed.
His appearance instantly enlivened the entire street, drawing the attention of passersby.
"An admiral? A space admiral?"
"He must be a general."
"This is really strange. Why is the general here? Shouldn't he be at the front lines?"
Fu Li stood still, her gaze gradually turning cold as she looked at the person.
"Captain Vitley, no, now he's a general, what brings you here?"
"I just finished my labor reform. What, are you planning to 'sacrifice family for the greater good' and arrest me again so I can earn merit once more?"
His eyebrows curved, and a sarcastic smile played at the corners of his mouth.
The man didn't respond, standing straight by the door, his tall and imposing figure like a small mountain. His gaze was fixed on Fu Li, his deep eyes revealing an indescribable emotion that subtly fermented in the air.
Fu Li scoffed coldly.
He would never forget how he was aimlessly and carefree sailing his pirate ship through the stars when suddenly he was surrounded by interstellar patrols and hundreds of warships. Before he could even get into his escape pod, they broke down the door.
The man at the head was dressed in a captain's uniform, exuding an imposing aura, with cold and murderous eyes, and a face that he recognized.
"Vitley?!" Fu Li was so shocked that she only had time to call out the other person's name in a surprised tone before Vitley rushed forward, dislocated her arm, and slammed her to the ground.
The cold voice in my memory said, "Fu Li, you're under arrest. Give up resisting and come back with me!"
Fu Li wasn't unwilling to resist, but she was completely suppressed and unable to struggle. She was thus dragged to the dock, completely bewildered.
Later, Vitele was promoted to general, while he was sentenced to five hundred years of hard labor. Truly, different fates for the same people.
Thinking back on the past, Fu Li felt a burning hatred. They were roommates in the same dormitory when they were in military school. Their relationship wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either. Even though they eventually went their separate ways, it didn't have to be so ruthless!
He wanted to see what kind of trouble this "old classmate" who had personally arrested him was up to.
"Oh."
He strode confidently into the car through the open door, looking completely at ease.
The latter remained calm, considerately closed the car door, got in from the other side, and started the Starship.
