Chapter 29 The Fake Young Master's Dog Taming Guide (5) Dog Taming Successfully...
The next day, the butler prepared a brand-new uniform for Jing Qibai, but on the chest, there was an embroidered character "Li" in silver thread. The elegant and graceful handwriting was just like the young master's handsome appearance, as if it were declaring ownership to everyone.
The butler specifically said, "This was specially made for you by the young master's orders."
Knowing she had no choice, Jing Qibai changed her clothes.
The uniforms of the International Academy were all designed by renowned designers, with a flowing, cinched waist that perfectly accentuated the figure. Wearing them on Jing Qibai's body, they further emphasized his slender and refined physique. Paired with his aloof and cold face, he resembled an arrogant young master from a powerful family. Except for the character "Li" outlined in silver thread on the chest, which stood out prominently against the otherwise dark black uniform, as if declaring to everyone—this person was Yan Fuli's dog!
Because of his status, Jing Qibai was not allowed to eat breakfast at the table and could only sit on the floor and silently finish his glass of milk.
Before getting into the car, Fu Li looked at Jing Qibai's emaciated figure and remembered that someone had said yesterday that his dog was too thin. For the sake of his own reputation, he decided to take better care of Jing Qibai, so he said, "You'll have lunch with me at noon."
As they neared the school, Fu Li put a collar engraved with her initials on Jing Qibai's neck and warned him, "There are sensors inside. Try taking it off!"
Despite his neck discomfort, the boy said nothing and obediently lowered his eyes to sit next to Fu Li.
Upon entering the school, the sight of a handsome young boy leading another person on a dog leash instantly drew countless glances.
The news had already spread throughout the campus that Young Master Yan had taken in a person as a dog, but no one expected that he would actually actually raise that person as a dog.
During break, those same people from yesterday gathered around Fu Li again, looking Jing Qibai up and down, constantly making comments like the following:
"Wow, didn't Young Master Yan say yesterday that he hadn't trained well? How come he's trained so well in just one day? That's amazing!"
"Young Master Yan must take very good care of his dog, right?"
"This dog looks alright after being groomed..."
The young master gradually lost himself amidst the praise of the crowd, and when he was in high spirits, he would even ask Jing Qibai to shout out to add to the fun.
As for Jing Qibai, he remained indifferent throughout, obeying every order Fu Li gave him. When not called upon, he sat quietly to the side reading and studying, as if determined to carry out his vow of perseverance to the end.
However, no matter how calm one appears, one cannot escape the three urgent needs of life.
"Young Master, I need to go to the restroom." During a break between classes, Jing Qibai couldn't hold it in any longer and asked Fu Li.
Fu Li wouldn't allow him to take off the collar, and the other end of the chain was connected to the young master's hand, so he had to follow her everywhere. But there were inconveniences too. Like now.
The boy raised his slender eyebrows and glanced at him, then, as if he had thought of something amusing, stood up and said, "Let's go. Taking the dog to the toilet is an obligation that every owner should fulfill."
Jing Qibai's face paled, a bad premonition rising in her heart. Yet, she could only follow him towards the restroom.
Sure enough, Fu Li led him into the private restroom. Pointing to the urinal, she said, "You can begin now."
Jing Qibai could not tolerate this and softened his tone, saying, "Master, may I ask you to leave?"
Fu Li had stipulated that at home he should address himself as "master," but at school he could simply be called "young master."
The fact that he called him that was already a form of begging for mercy.
Fu Li remained unmoved, glancing down with disdain. "I've seen dogs use the toilet before. Hurry up."
Therefore, Jing Qibai could only endure the shame and indignation in his heart and quickly resolve the matter.
The system was immediately thrown into a dark room, but it knew what its host had done, so it advised: "Host, is it really meaningful for you to humiliate the male lead like this? That's enough!"
Fu Li, however, said leisurely, "Isn't he quite good at pretending? I love seeing him looking at me with dislike but unable to do anything about it!"
Fortunately, Fu Li's perverse sense of humor only happened once after that; afterwards, he unchained him and let him go on his own. But Jing Qibai still couldn't forget the humiliation of that moment and vowed to repay it a hundredfold in the future.
At lunchtime, Fu Li led Jing Qibai to the VIP dining area on the third floor of the cafeteria and had him get two meals. This time, she didn't force him to eat on the floor.
As he ate the beef, fish, and shrimp on his plate, Jing Qibai realized for the first time that children from wealthy families could have lavish lunches filled with meat and fish, and could even order dishes on the spot for the kitchen to prepare. Unlike before, when he could only eat cold steamed buns for every meal, squatting in a corner like a beggar imagining what those seemingly exquisite dishes tasted like.
This was also the best meal he had ever eaten since birth.
Jing Qibai lowered his eyes and chewed his food, tears welling up in his eyes without him even realizing it.
At that moment, the gap between the rich and the poor and between different classes was clearly laid out before him.
He wanted to become stronger, to be more powerful than everyone else, and to repay them a thousandfold for the humiliation and torment he had suffered.
Her heart was churning, but she showed no sign of it on her face. She quietly wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes, and the fire in her heart burned even more fiercely.
Fu Li got up and left, leaving him to wait where he was.
Just then, several people approached Jing Qibai, the one in the lead being Young Master Pei, whom he had bitten off a piece of flesh from at the Yan residence.
"Hey, isn't this Young Master Yan's new dog? Out for a walk?"
"Hey, you haven't forgotten that day you bit off a piece of flesh from me, have you? I still have bandages on it." He said, showing the white cloth covering his hand. "Young Master Yan has good taste. You like biting people so much, you'd be perfect as a dog!"
Several people surrounded Jing Qibai, shoving his shoulder from time to time and constantly making fun of him.
Jing Qibai remained silent and motionless, offering no resistance, but a dark light flickered in his eyes.
Seeing the boy's submissive demeanor, Pei Shao was still not satisfied. Suddenly, an idea struck him. He picked up a plate from the table and dumped it over the boy's head. Instantly, the boy was drenched in soup and food, with greasy liquid dripping from his hair, making him look extremely disheveled.
Seeing this, Pei Shao laughed with relief, and his voice and that of his followers echoed in the hall.
Yan Fuli happened to see this scene when he returned.
Just as they were about to take another step, a cold glint flashed in his eyes. He strode over and shouted:
"Pei Zhiyao, what are you doing?!"
Upon seeing that he had returned, the others immediately stood behind Pei Zhiyao, while the victim, Jing Qibai, remained motionless in his original position, staring at the newcomer with his calm eyes, as if silently accusing him of their crimes.
At this moment, Young Master Pei had not yet realized the seriousness of the problem. He put his hands in his pockets and said to Fu Li with a grin, "Young Master Yan, I'm helping you discipline his biting habit."
Fu Li laughed in anger, staring coldly at him, and said clearly, "Pei Zhiyao, now, eat all the food on the ground!"
Upon hearing his harsh tone, the expressions on their faces instantly changed. The atmosphere suddenly became tense, and almost everyone's eyes were turned towards them.
Pei Zhiyao's face darkened: "What do you mean?"
Fu Li sneered: "Did I say that Jing Qibai is my dog, and only I can order him around? Did you just ignore what I said?!"
"Furthermore, you've tarnished my name, that's another crime!"
Pei Zhiyao was completely bewildered, not knowing what he was talking about. Only after a moment did he realize that the character "Li" embroidered on Jing's white uniform had been stained with oil, and his pupils immediately contracted.
He tried to argue, but Fu Li's patience had run out. Without another word, she kicked Pei Zhiyao in the knee, sending him sprawling to his knees with a scream. Fu Li then sat on a clean chair nearby, crossed one leg, and looked at him, commanding:
"This lunch was paid for by me, and now you're wasting it. In that case, you'd better finish it all, not a single bite!"
His attitude was firm, and everyone present, fearing the power of the Yan family, remained silent.
Pei Zhiyao shouted, his face contorted in pain, "You can't treat me like this! My dad just closed a deal with your family!"
Yan Fuli gave a cold "heh," silencing him with just one sentence.
"Do you know that with just one word from me, this deal could fall through immediately?"
Finally, after his gaze shifted dozens of times, Young Master Pei lowered his head under everyone's watchful eyes and took a piece of meat from the floor into his mouth...
Jing Qibai's eyes subtly changed. The man who had just been swaggering in front of him, calling him a dog, was now crawling on the ground, looking more like a dog than him.
Although it was borrowed from Young Master Yan's power, it was impossible not to feel uncomfortable.
Fu Li shifted her gaze from Pei Zhiyao, who was wolfing down his food, to Jing Qibai, and ordered with a hint of disgust, "Go and clean yourself up before you come over. Don't you mind getting dirty?"
From that day on, everyone in the school knew that Fu Li's words, "Only I can bully my dog," were not a joke. Some people who had originally had ideas gave up, and no one dared to provoke Jing Qibai anymore.
When the results of the first monthly exam came out, Fu Li stared at the name at the top of the list, and her expression changed inscrutable.
Jing Qibai thought he was unhappy that he had scored higher than him, but Fu Li simply said, "From now on, you'll be responsible for writing all my class notes and homework. Not a single mistake is allowed!"
From then on, Fu Li did nothing but play when she got home, but her homework for every subject was perfect.
Jing Qibai gradually found a balance between "being Fu Li's dog" and "being someone else's person". Although he had no dignity in front of Fu Li, he lived a better life than in the Jing family.
Gradually, he became more and more docile and obedient in front of Fu Li, as if he had truly been successfully tamed.
But only Jing Qibai knew that these were all just a facade.
Even Yan Fuli was nothing more than a stepping stone for advancement in his eyes. The flames of hatred in his heart had never been extinguished.
