"Are you awake?" a man's voice sounded.
Wu Fei was shocked: "Adam!"
"You can actually recognize my voice!" Adam chuckled.
The voice was extremely gentle and kind, just like the god deep underground who had filled her with hope.
Wu Fei took a deep breath, reached out and touched in front of her eyes, but still saw darkness.
"Am I blind?" she asked.
"No!" Adam explained patiently, "We suspended your vision."
This statement made Wu Fei feel extremely unfamiliar.
Visual functions are paused!
"Until your cognition reaches a certain level, it is safer for you to remain as you are." Adam still maintained the most gentle tone, but said extremely cruel words.
The implication is that with your current IQ, you cannot accept the real world, so it would be better for you to be blind.
Wu Fei took a deep breath and gritted her teeth secretly: "Then can I ask you some questions?"
"Sure!" Adam replied gently.
Wu Fei suddenly realized that after she woke up, the woman who appeared before never spoke again.
But she guessed that the woman should be Eve.
"Is Eve here too?" she asked.
"Oh, it seems you woke up even earlier?" The woman finally spoke, chuckling, "You have good hearing."
Wu Fei's heart sank.
The hostility in Eve's tone was obvious, as if she was ready to deafen her if she was unhappy.
"Eve, please go out first. She probably wants to talk to me alone about something!" Adam said lightly.
