Chapter 123 Closing Remarks

Chapter 123 Closing Remarks

Now officially announce that this book is finished, 撒花ヾ(▽)ノ

It’s been almost two months since the update, but I’ve known them for more than two months.

This book was a sudden inspiration that came to me around April last year. In fact, I had already written a rough outline and character settings in May, but I was obsessed with another book at the time (I had wanted to write it before the last three books, and I don’t know if I will ever publish it in this lifetime [covering my face]), but in the end I put it all on hold.

It wasn't until this year's Spring Festival that I looked back at the summaries I used to post annually on Weibo and realized that the past two years since finishing my last book have been essentially wasted, though I guess that's also largely due to the fact that family and work have drained so much of my energy. Since Spring Festival, I've made up my mind to write at least one book this year.

I chose this novel from among several others whose beginnings I'd already written. I officially started working on it in June, constantly doubting myself, "Will I still be able to write novels?" Before officially publishing, the book had already gone through three major revisions, countless minor ones, and nearly 60,000 words had been pushed back to the drawing board. While I gradually regained some of my writing touch during this process, it did have a significant impact on my confidence, especially when I submitted it internally, where I was constantly rejected. I'm grateful to Gardenia for giving me this opportunity.

This is the second book I wrote the outline for. In the early stage, Qingqing, Han Ge and I were always arguing with each other. I wanted them to wait, but they refused. I felt like a wicked mother-in-law. In the end, I gave up and let their feelings develop.ヽ(ー_ー)ノ

Although I have an outline, I still keep getting stuck. I get stuck at almost every plot point. It gets stuck after a while of smooth sailing. I have wanted to give up several times, but seeing your support, I continue to persevere.

After finishing this book, I'm so impressed with myself. Although it's the shortest of the books I've signed, it took just as much effort, as I've experienced a period of interruption in writing before. To ensure I could keep up, I'd get home from work every day and start typing. When inspiration flowed smoothly, it was fine, but when it didn't, it was truly awful! On Saturdays and Sundays when I had nothing else planned, I'd sit at home and write all day long. Every time I checked on my progress on Sunday night, I was impressed by myself.

In the end, although the book may not be as good as it could be and has strayed somewhat from my original idea, I have written the plot I wanted to write and I did my best to do so.
