Chapter 10 She Really Has No Interest

Chapter 10 She Really Has No Interest

—Late night balcony

Su Yunci was watering the flowers and plants absentmindedly. He didn't even notice that the water in the spray bottle was empty, but he kept raising his arm to pour water into the flower pots that were full of water.

The cell phone was placed alone on the desk. Every time Su Yunci passed by, he would glance at it several times, then bite his tongue and leave.

This is how she would be after returning home, wandering around the small room, playing the piano, wiping the table, and even washing the sheets that she had just changed in the morning, and tearing off and re-pasting the wallpaper that she had been too lazy to change for a long time.

Finally, she was so busy that she felt exhausted, so she just curled up on the sofa and stared blankly...

On the other side

Pu Ye was lying on the chair, refreshing the page on his phone every ten seconds or so, trying to convince himself that it was his phone's problem that he couldn't receive messages.

"No, isn't Su girl being too disrespectful to me?"

Pu Ye felt his face was insulted, and with a childish anger, he threw his phone aside and said, "If you don't want to add me, then don't add me. I don't care about her at all."

He stood up unwillingly with his hands on his hips, but he couldn't help but peek around from time to time, glancing at her again and again, fearing that some unexpected surprise would pop up in the next second.

After a while, his eyeballs hurt from rolling, and the man squinted and stared at the motionless phone.

Su Yunci, who was being blamed, was completely unaware of it. She was still pulling the doll's ears with a complicated expression. Strawberry Bear was squeezed and deformed and was in great pain.

She understood her mother. A failed blind date would not persuade them to give up. Instead, there would soon be a second and third Li Sheng.

Her mother wanted to control not only her studies but everything about her life and wanted to have everything under her control.

Su Yunci sometimes thought that his mother's desire for control seemed to have reached a perverted level.

Her father might be used to it and would give in to her in everything, but she would not. She must use actual resistance to prove that her own life ultimately depends on her choices.

And now...

It seems that this is the only way to resist her.

She had never been in a relationship and had no experience in love. It was just her subconscious intuition that Pu Ye was not a bad person, at least much better than those scumbags she knew.

She doesn't care whether there is love or not. Even if two people don't love each other, respecting each other and not interfering with each other is better than most marriages.

Su Yunci stood up and touched her cell phone. She felt inexplicably hot in her palm, and the burning sensation made her fingers curl up together.

The red dot she clicked on was glaring, and the avatar that she had deleted once stood quietly in the address book.

I didn't notice it last time, so I enlarged the avatar and saw that the background was a snow-capped mountain, and there was a figure wearing a black jacket and a dark green backpack on his back. The exposed side of his face was wearing sunglasses, and he had an unconcealable smile on his lips. He looked down on everything with a cocky look. If I'm not mistaken, it should be Pu Ye himself.

I guessed it was late at night and he was probably asleep, so it seemed appropriate to agree to friend verification now.

Su Yunci curled up, resting his chin on his knees, and frowned hard as if he had made a big decision. He nodded his agreement without hesitation...

bite-

Pu Ye's phone screen, which was about to go dark, suddenly lit up.

“! Oh my god!”

Almost unable to hold back his swearing, Pu Ye rushed forward and picked up the phone, clicked on the bright dialog box, telling him that he was not dreaming, and the slow-moving woman finally agreed to his friend request.

"Alright," Pu Ye said with a lordly attitude, "Since you are so sincere, I will reluctantly forgive you."

Su Yunci: ...

Fortunately, no one else saw this self-directed drama of his, otherwise they would definitely be shocked, because no one would have thought that the always cold and sharp-tongued Pu Ye would one day behave like a person without a brain stem.

The first step for most people after adding a friend is to check the other person’s Moments, right?

At least that's the case with Su Yunci and Pu Ye.

Same time, different place

The two of them tacitly looked through each other's past.

Su Yunci first flipped through Pu Ye’s birthday, which was a family photo posted on his Moments on August 7th of the previous year.

In the photo, Xiaobao is lying on Pu Ye's shoulder, and the uncle and nephew have a lot of cake on their bodies and faces.

Xiaobao was smiling smugly, while Pu Ye was smiling reluctantly. It was obvious that he was trying not to get angry at Xiaobao's prank.

There was a couple next to him, who were a little older. Their facial features were similar to those of Pu Ye, and they were obviously his parents.

Standing closest to the edge was a young couple. The girl was kissing the boy's cheek, and the boy was grinning happily. If I was not mistaken, this couple were Xiaobao's parents, Pu Ye's sister and brother-in-law.

Flipping forward, there are photos of him traveling to remote places on a motorcycle, photos of him in a bar, and his graduation photo.

It is undeniable that in a group photo of forty or fifty people, he was the most prominent one. Su Yunci easily recognized him even though he was lonely among them.

"Jinghua University?"

Jinghua University is a famous key university, and very few people can get in. Who would have thought that Pu Ye is a true academic master?

I went through all the updates. Since there was a long interval between each update from Pu Ye, and he had posted less than three or four updates in the past six months, it didn't take long for me to read through them all.

Su Yunci was about to withdraw when he paused and turned to the place where Pu Ye celebrated his birthday.

"August 7th..."

"He's a Leo?"

No wonder

Poisonous and childish...

Su Yunci smiled slightly, and the dimples on her cheeks were faintly visible, which was very beautiful.

But after a glance, worry appeared on his face, as if Leo boys have a bad temper, are domineering, have a strong desire for control and possessiveness, and are a bit chauvinistic.

"No way."

Su Yunci comforted himself, "Horoscopes and the like are not accurate."

Pu Ye was unknowingly labeled with so many "derogatory words", and he fell into deep thought in other people's circle of friends.

Compared to him, Su Yunci posted even fewer updates.

A few pictures of scenery during travel and a short video of playing the piano.

There is nothing else besides this.

She didn't show her face in the video, only her hands moving freely on the piano keys. Her soft, boneless fingers seemed to be tinged with a faint pink, which made him imagine what it would be like if these hands touched him...

"Pah, pah, pah!"

Pu Ye cursed himself, "Are you a man? What's in your head?"

After peeping into someone else's Moments, Pu Ye muttered to himself like a psychopath, "She's not asleep yet, is she? After all, she just sent a message ten minutes ago."

For no reason, he wanted to harass her.

"Send a message? Ask her what she thinks?"

Pu Ye tugged at the strands of hair on his forehead in frustration. "Tsk, no, it seems like I'm such a loser if I'm always the one to initiate the messages... It's not like I'm trying to marry her..."

Su Yunci looked at Pu Ye's display in confusion, "The other party is typing..."

She witnessed it intermittently for about ten minutes, but the other party didn't send a single word.

Su Yunci swallowed, bit his lower lip with his tiger teeth, and formed a question mark with his fingers and sent it over.

"?"

The other side responded with lightning, "What do you want to talk to me about?"

Pu Ye lowered his jaw slightly, unable to suppress a smile on the corner of his mouth, and his hands moved casually, "Teacher Su, I'm sorry for disturbing my rest."

Su Yunci held his forehead helplessly, with a look of being at a loss whether to laugh or cry, not wanting to expose Pu Ye's speechless and shocking little trick.

"Sorry, you should get some rest early."

“…”

Pu Ye's breath hitched, and his sharp-featured face was full of colors.

With a sullen face and arms crossed, he sulked alone. It wasn't that he said that Su Yunci had no sense of humor at all.

Out of politeness, Pu Ye still replied good night and told her to send him a message when she was sure about getting married.

After several minutes, Su Yunci replied "OK"
