Chapter Two: Master Bian, Please Have Some Tea

The woman's voice was sweet and coquettish, with a hint of flirtatiousness, making even Bian Lang, who loved playing the hero and rescuing the damsel in distress, too lazy to move.

Bian Lang has witnessed far too many similar traps over the past ten thousand years.

There have always been corpse thieves, no matter the era.

It is said that corpses snatched from corpse-drivers are surprisingly effective in arranging ghost marriages.

Some corpse transporters lost their bodies and had to find a way to buy a substitute corpse along the way.

Bian Lang has been driving corpses for nearly ten thousand years, and he has never lost a single corpse.

When he first started transporting corpses, he encountered corpse thieves many times, but he always managed to escape unscathed.

Now that he has been transporting corpses for nearly ten thousand years, he is more adept at the underhanded tricks of the martial arts world than these petty thieves.

If seduction fails, they'll either pretend to be a ghost or use sleeping gas; the bolder ones might even rush in and rob you.

I dried my feet and had just lay down on the straw bed when I saw a dark figure appear outside the window.

"I died a terrible death, I died a horrible death." The dark figure swayed slightly, as if someone were floating in the air.

The voice was exceptionally ethereal, like the whisper of a demon.

Within a radius of ten miles, there was no sign of life, except for a heart pounding wildly on the left side of the house.

Bian Lang reluctantly got up and quietly came to the left. He saw a girl in a green dress squatting there, holding a bamboo pole tightly with both hands. Her upturned buttocks wiggled as she vigorously swung a scarecrow at the end of the bamboo pole.

The scarecrow was wrapped in a red cloth, and it was quite frightening to suddenly bump into it in the dark.

“I died a much worse death,” Bian Lang said, gently patting the girl’s shoulder.

The girl screamed and collapsed unconscious.

You're already dizzy?

Bian Lang tied the girl to a peach tree in the yard, gagged her with rags, and then went back to his house to sleep.

Bian Lang already has terrible sleep quality, and if he gets woken up in the middle of the night, he feels like killing someone.

In all those ten thousand years, he never killed a single person with his own hands.

When he encountered someone utterly wicked, he would humiliate and torture them relentlessly, forcing them to commit suicide as their only escape.

Even the most wicked person, if they fall into Bian Lang's hands, will surely understand that only death is the true liberation.

He slept until the afternoon, and the first thing Bian Lang did after waking up was to examine the body before going to the yard.

The girl in the green dress had already woken up, and after being unable to break free, she remained quiet.

But upon seeing Bian Lang, she immediately twisted her body, snorted, and her pretty face turned bright red.

"I know I'm handsome, and women would want to throw themselves at me, but you're blushing so much that I'm too embarrassed to make a move." Bian Lang thought the girl was cute, but not exactly a beauty.

The girl in the green dress struggled even more fiercely.

Bian Lang kindly removed the rag from her mouth.

"I need to pee."

The girl in the green dress roared angrily, her voice like a tiger's roar shaking the mountains.

Bian Lang was taken aback.

In this day and age, not to mention women, even men rarely say "I need to pee".

The girl not only spoke, but she shouted so loudly that Bian Lang blushed a little.

Untying the ropes, Bian Lang pointed outside: "Don't pee in the inn."

Even if you gave the girl in the green dress ten times the courage, she wouldn't dare urinate in the corpse-driving inn.

Crouching low, she hurried outside to relieve herself. Afterward, the girl in the green dress returned, intending to buy a corpse from Bian Lang.

If they fail to steal in the middle of the night, they might try to buy the body with silver, thinking the corpse driver is a corpse trafficker?

"I haven't touched a woman in six months." Bian Lang stared lewdly at the girl in the green dress's full breasts.

The girl in the green dress was so frightened that she crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes darting around rapidly. After thinking for a moment, she quickly fled.

After dark, Bian Lang packed his things, shook the Soul-Capturing Bell, and continued on his way with the four corpses.

The four corpses were destined for four different towns, but fortunately they were not far apart and would not have to travel too much.

The Corpse Brother was very considerate in arranging the route.

After delivering the three bodies to their destination, only one body remained, located in the town of Kaoshui ahead.

Just past midnight, it is the time of day when the yin energy is at its strongest.

A red lantern hangs at the entrance of the town.

But there was no one there.

Bian Lang frowned slightly. This family was so irresponsible! The child was already at their doorstep, and they didn't even come out to greet him.

Bian Lang would notify the owner in advance of the time to collect the body. The owner would then set up an altar at the entrance of town, place offerings, and burn paper money.

All of this is done for the enjoyment of those wandering ghosts.

There was nothing that could be done if the employer refused to take the body; the body still had to be delivered to their doorstep.

Bian Lang took out paper money from his bundle, casually tossed it into the air, clasped his hands in a fist and said, "Thank you all for your company along the way. This is just a small token of my appreciation, please accept it."

Having said that, he hurried the corpse into the town.

The town by the water is not large, and at night it is like a ghost town, with hardly any dogs barking.

Upon arriving here, Bian Lang had the corpse walk in front so that they could find their own house.

It was a very grand mansion, but unfortunately the gate was tightly closed.

Bian Lang stepped forward and knocked on the door.

After knocking a few times, the door creaked open and slowly opened inwards.

The person who opened the door was none other than the girl in the green dress I had met a few days ago.

However, the girl's condition was strange; her face was blank, her eyes were lifeless, as if she had lost her soul.

"Come in," the girl in the green dress said, her voice also hesitant.

Bian Lang smiled slightly and carried the corpse into the house.

Something unusual must be going on.

The house was cold and deserted, devoid of any lively atmosphere.

The girl in the green dress led Bian Lang to the main hall and told him in a cold voice to rest for a while, that hot tea would be served soon, and that the master would be there shortly.

Bian Lang has always been very patient.

After handing over the body, the reward should be a reduction in the number of days of abstinence from sex, which could be a few days or a few months.

When Master Zhu entered, his expression and demeanor were exactly the same as the girl in the green dress.

Even though his son's body was right next to him, he didn't even glance at it, and greeted Bian Lang with a sly smile.

The girl in the green dress quickly brought over hot tea.

In her eyes, the golden tea soup was top-quality West Lake Longjing tea leaves floating on top.

However, in Bian Lang's eyes, those were not tea leaves, but rather grayish-brown maggots.

These maggots are incredibly numerous in the latrines during the summer.

"Master Bian, please have some tea." Master Zhu's eyes were vacant, his lips trembled slightly, and his voice sounded so unpleasant it seemed to come from his ass.

Bian Lang picked up the teacup, carefully examining the maggots inside. He wasn't in a hurry to drink, but asked with a smile, "Master Zhu, besides your son, has anyone else in your family died a violent death?"

"Master Bian, please have some tea," Master Zhu repeated his earlier words.

Bian Lang spun the teacup, suddenly stood up, grabbed Master Zhu's mouth, and poured the entire bowl of tea down his throat.

Master Zhu's ruddy face instantly turned black and bluish-purple, his mouth wide open, and he roared to the sky.

Countless maggots, accompanied by thick black smoke, crawled wildly out of Master Zhu's mouth, completely enveloping him in the blink of an eye.

As the maggots wriggled, Master Zhu waved his arms and lunged at Bian Lang.
