In that dilapidated courtyard, the madwoman was still washing clothes.
This time, however, she took the clothes that had already dried and washed them again.
It's a miracle that someone like that could live on.
Bian Lang threw the coffin into the yard, yanked open the lid, and asked, "Is this your child?"
The madwoman finally stopped washing clothes, slowly raised her head, and revealed a severely bloodshot eye through her hair that was covering her face.
After staring at Ao Run's corpse for a long time, she suddenly opened her arms, pulled Ao Run's body out of the coffin, hugged it to her chest, and wailed loudly.
Bian Lang saw it all and knew that this crazy woman always knew what was in her belly.
Judging from the half of this madwoman's face that was showing, if she dressed up properly, she would definitely be a stunning beauty.
There are many beauties hidden in the countryside.
It is likely that a dragon from the South China Sea, upon seeing the madwoman's beauty, harbored wicked thoughts.
Or perhaps the madwoman and the dragon of the South China Sea fell in love and vowed to grow old together.
Regardless of how the story begins, the ending is always the same: the madwoman becomes pregnant with the dragon's child, only to have the baby die in the womb, thus creating a tragic life for the madwoman.
Once the madwoman calmed down a bit, Bian Lang asked, "Who is the father of this child?"
The madwoman just chuckled, holding Ao Run's corpse tightly in her arms, without saying a word.
The villagers watched from outside the courtyard, eager to know how Bian Lang would resolve the matter.
After all, this matter concerns the life and death of the entire village; if anything goes wrong, everyone will die.
Bian Lang wasn't in a hurry to snatch Ao Run's body back. Instead, he let the madwoman hold it a little longer, and after dark, the body would still have to be taken to the seaside.
When the time comes, aquatic creatures from the South China Sea will come to take them over.
It's unclear how much time passed before the madwoman picked up the still-wet clothes, intending to dress Ao Run's corpse in them.
But the baby clothes she made were all made according to human body shapes, and Ao Run's corpse couldn't wear them at all.
When it got dark, after Bian Lang raised the corpse, Ao Run's body naturally broke free from the madwoman's embrace.
Strangely, the madwoman didn't shout or make a scene; instead, she just kept chuckling foolishly.
Perhaps in her mind, her child had finally learned to walk.
Many villagers were still waiting outside when they saw Ao Run's body suddenly move, and they were all quite frightened.
Bian Lang shouted loudly, "The dead shall go on their way; the living shall give way."
Upon hearing this, the villagers who were guarding outside the courtyard scattered and hid.
Ao Run's corpse floated in the air, right behind Bian Lang, as if it had not died and was still alive.
The madwoman didn't chase after them; instead, she went inside to find something to eat.
After a day of hunger, even finding some tree bark would be good.
Led by the burly man, some villagers still made it to the beach.
Bianlang shouted several times at the surging sea before strangely shaped heads finally emerged from the surface.
Although the villagers were standing far away, they could all see clearly because the moonlight was so bright tonight.
Now they finally understand why fishing boats always capsize at sea.
If these monsters are causing trouble in the water, even the sturdiest ship in the world won't help them.
After a while, a creature with a fish head came ashore.
"Why are you shouting here?" the fish general asked in a cold voice.
The villagers were shocked when they heard the sound. Bian Lang had only stood on the beach and shouted a few times, and he had actually summoned the aquatic creatures from the Dragon Palace.
But what they didn't know was that the sound of the waves could travel all the way to the depths of the sea, and even the aquatic creatures in the Dragon Palace of the South China Sea could hear it clearly.
If it were an ordinary person, no matter how loudly they shouted, their voice would be drowned out by the sound of the waves.
Bian Lang pointed at Ao Run's corpse and said, "This corpse should belong to you. I just brought it here."
The fish had already discovered Ao Run's corpse, but it never expected that the young dragon flying in the air would be a corpse.
"You mortal, how dare you slaughter a dragon?" the fish general snapped, his voice cold as he rebuked.
Bian Lang laughed and said, "I didn't kill this dragon." As he spoke, he removed the talisman from the dragon's head, and Ao Run's corpse immediately fell onto the beach.
Looking at the young dragon's horns, the fish had a bold guess in its mind.
Whether this speculation is true or not, Bian Lang must remain here.
The fish was thinking of letting the waves reach the bottom of the sea.
Humans cannot survive in water. As long as the waves are brought to the seabed, they can be trapped and await the king's return.
"Where is Ao Lan? Let Ao Lan come out to see me, let Ao Lan..." Just then, the madwoman suddenly rushed out.
Since she knows Ao Lan's name, then Ao Run's biological father must be Ao Lan.
Judging from the hysterical state of the crazy woman, their relationship was probably very beautiful and consensual at the beginning.
However, in the later stages, cracks will undoubtedly appear for various reasons.
"How dare you address our king by his name..." the fish general roared angrily.
Bian Lang chuckled and said, "Stop shouting, Ao Lan should be in the East China Sea right now."
The fish turned its head to look at Bianlang, and its smooth eyes showed a look of surprise.
"Who said I am in the East Sea?" A dragon's roar suddenly came from mid-air, and a huge flying dragon appeared as if it were on the moon.
In the next instant, Ao Lan transformed into human form and appeared directly in front of Bian Lang.
Ao Lan never expected that the corpse driver that he and his four brothers had been planning to deal with would actually appear on his territory.
Bian Lang laughed and said, "It would be even better if the Dragon King of the South Sea came in person. Please sign for the corpse."
