Chapter 37

Chapter 37

She asked me if I had offended anyone recently, but I thought about it for a long time and couldn't remember. I'm not the type to offend people easily, and I've always been kind to everyone.

I was terrified and wanted her to come down the mountain, but as luck would have it, she and Li Danyang were out on business and wouldn't be back anytime soon. She told me to take the doll back to the Tianshi Mansion, saying that no matter who had made it, it would be destroyed.

I knew I couldn't stay at home, so I did as Erma said, put the doll in a plastic bag, and drove to the Tianshi Mansion.

After arriving at the Tianshi Mansion, he happened to meet Zhao Danxi.

When I told him about this, he took the doll, looked at it for a moment, and said, "This is evil and heretical."

He just made two casual gestures, and the puppet's face was suddenly covered in blood. The blood quickly soaked the entire puppet, and then turned into a pool of blood.

My body suddenly felt lighter, as if something had dissipated from me.

"Thank you, Senior Brother Danxi."

I thanked him respectfully.

"Little sister, why don't you stay in the Tianshi Mansion for a while, and when Erma comes back, let her go back with you, so that you don't have to worry." Zhao Danxi said.

"That's what I thought."

"That's good." Zhao Danxi said with a smile.

I waited in the Tianshi Mansion for more than half a month. That morning, I was still sleeping when a pair of cold hands touched me under the quilt. I was woken up by the cold, and when I opened my eyes, I saw Erma smiling slyly.

"You're going to die." I quickly opened her hands.

"Did you miss me, sister?" she said.

"Think about it. Take your hand away quickly. It's cold."

After she finished paying respects to the Three Pure Ones, she and I went down the mountain together. We chatted in the car, and I asked her what she had done this time. She excitedly said that she and Li Danyang had gone to exorcise evil spirits.

After returning from Hong Kong with me last time, Master Zhang learned of our actions there and said that Erma might be getting wild, so he wanted to keep her quiet in the Tianshi Mansion for a while. However, Erma's personality made it better to kill her than to keep her there. Sure enough, a few days later, she heard that Li Danyang was going out on business and begged him to take her with him.

Exorcism is a serious matter, and Master Zhang did not refuse, so he let Erma and Li Danyang go together.

To be honest, the people in the Tianshi Mansion, like Master Zhang and his brother, had not left the mountain for a long time. Basically, the disciples would take over any work. If they were to leave the mountain, it would be unless something extremely serious happened.

Even if Li Danyang were allowed to go down the mountain, this matter would still be of great importance. Because Li Danyang was Master Zhang's first disciple, when I heard that Erma and Li Danyang were going to exorcise the evil spirit together, I was also very curious about what matter had Li Danyang personally stepped in to deal with.

Erma talked to me all the way.

Here's the whole thing.

There's a village called Longkou Village. While transportation isn't very developed, it's not completely isolated either. It's one of those relatively poor villages. Some of the teachers in town are from other places who came to teach.

But a few days ago, a female teacher was hit and killed by a truck on her way back to her dormitory. The scene was so tragic that many people couldn't bear to watch. The teacher's entire head was crushed by the truck, leaving only her signature ponytail.

The villagers were deeply saddened. After performing a ritual to pray for the teacher's soul, they buried her in a local cemetery. In rural areas, many people who die suddenly are asked to perform rituals to pray for their souls. However, this ritual didn't have much effect. Since the teacher's death, strange things have been happening in the village one after another.

First, a student was passing by the school at night and heard a lecture in the classroom. You know, there is no evening self-study in the village, and the sound of a lecture coming from the dark classroom scared the student and he ran away.

She also shared a dormitory with a teacher who often heard someone going to the restroom at night. To improve the living conditions for the teachers, the village only allowed two people to live in each dormitory, so she was the only one in the room. The scariest thing was that one night, when she got up to go to the restroom, she saw a dark figure outside the dormitory, leaning against the window and looking in. The figure had a familiar ponytail.

This frightened the teacher so much that he said he would not stay there any longer and even insisted on going home.

In their village, volunteer teachers are rare, and the villagers value their children's education, so they all begged the teacher not to leave. Finally, the teacher, seeing the simple and honest villagers and having developed a close relationship with the students, asked the villagers to find someone to take a look.

The village Party secretary invited a fortune teller to come and see the place where the teacher was buried. The fortune teller first looked at the place where the teacher was buried and said that the ghost was because the teacher had unfulfilled wishes. She still wanted to teach the children in the village and watch them grow up. So she proposed to move the grave. So everyone followed his advice and moved the teacher's grave to the back of the school. That way, the teacher could watch the children grow up and study forever.

But before the situation had calmed down for two or three days, another incident occurred in the area where the truck had killed the female teacher. A driver driving a car at night overturned while passing by. Fortunately, a villager who was nearby heard it and saved the driver's life.

When the driver regained consciousness, he said he was driving smoothly until a woman with a ponytail suddenly appeared in the middle of the road. He slammed the brakes and swerved, causing the car to flip into a ditch on the side of the road.

As soon as the villagers heard his description, they knew it was the female teacher.

The incident caused a stir in the village, and the remaining teacher no longer dared to stay there and left in a hurry, even without taking his luggage. Without a teacher, the children in the village could not go to school. Fortunately, another male teacher came to teach in the village.

He was new to the school and had never heard of female teachers, and the villagers hadn't told him about it either. He taught with great passion and the students liked him very much.

After half a month, the students found that the new teacher had lost the spirit he had at the beginning. He was confused and had no energy at all every day.

After repeated questioning by the village party secretary, the new teacher finally told the truth.

For the past two weeks, there had been a girl in his dormitory every night. She looked about his age and had obviously just graduated from college. She had been intimate with him every night. At first, he thought the villagers had deliberately sent her to his dormitory to keep him. He was also filled with lust and started having sex with the girl.

As a result, he is now completely drained of energy.

The village party secretary's words made him even more uneasy. He told him about the female teacher who had appeared in the village before. He knew that he had encountered a ghost and decided not to stay there anymore. He drove away that very night.

As expected, on his way out, he saw the girl with a ponytail sitting in the back seat of his car.

He looked through the rearview mirror and saw a familiar face sitting behind him, looking at him with a smile.
