Chapter 9 The Sea
"Dazai-kun, give me more fuel for the fireplace."
Dazai Osamu looked around, then picked up the painting on the wall and handed it over: "Here-"
Lan Tang turned around and took it: "Thank you... This painting is..."
"Forget it, keeping warm is more important."
Nakahara Chuuya: "That painting was incredibly expensive!" "There's no need to go to war with them. My mission is simply to reveal to everyone that the former leader's resurrection is a lie."
Then he took out a piece of paper and placed it in front of Lan Tang: "About this, Mr. Lan Tang, I have something to ask you."
"Um, ask."
Dazai Osamu smiled and said, "Mr. Lantang, could you please tell me in detail about how you saw Aramatsu on Radium Street?"
"Um......"
"I will never forget this..."
"Mr. Lantang?"
"I survived, but the people around me—all of them were burned to death."
Nezuko was very bored and relied on her small size to run around everywhere. When she was caught by Chuuya Nakahara, she was not angry and just circled around him.
Nakahara Chuuya had no choice but to let her play, stopping her from time to time for fear that she would get dizzy.
Osamu Dazai: Not happy——
Why should he be able to play with Nezuko-chan while I work so hard over there!
"Only the sea of Yokohama, that sea seen from afar, remained calm and peaceful, without a single ripple. That is why I have a deep memory of it."
Nezuko stopped spinning and glanced at Randou.
Dazai noticed it but didn't say anything.
"This is where things get interesting."
After asking the question, the three of them left. When they could no longer see their backs, Randou looked over and met Nezuko's eyes as she was held by her brother.
He took them back and threw a few books into the fireplace as if nothing had happened.
“It’s so cold…”
"Hey Dazai, do you have a direction?" Nakahara Chuuya picked up Nezuko and put her on his neck, holding her tightly in his hands.
Dazai Osamu said expressionlessly: "Yes, I know the answer."
"What is it?!"
"Why should I tell you?"
"Huh—?! Tell me, you bastard!"
"I won't tell you Lululu..."
"Go to hell!"
Nezuko's Dead Fish Eyes: Two childish ghosts.
For the sake of her stomach, she had better interrupt: "Mmmmm!"
Nakahara Chuuya stopped bickering with Dazai Osamu: "Are you hungry?"
Nezuko's stomach growled in agreement.
Nakahara Chuuya didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "Alright." He asked with his remaining conscience towards Dazai Osamu: "Are you going or not?"
Dazai Osamu was stunned. His face was bandaged and only one eye was left, looking at Nakahara Chuuya with a bright look: "Oh - Chuuya, you are such a good person!"
Nakahara Chuuya looked up tactically in disgust: "How disgusting."
Dazai Osamu didn't care about all this. He snatched Nezuko and ran away while Nakahara Chuuya wasn't paying attention.
Nakahara Chuuya was stunned for a moment, then chased after him in a rage, punched Dazai on the head, hugged Nezuko who was flying due to inertia, and finally dragged Dazai with a bag on his head to Nezuko's favorite restaurant for dinner.
"Why--!"
"Why is there no crab meat—! Chuuya, you liar!"
Dazai Osamu rolled his face on the table to accuse Nakahara Chuuya.
"What the hell are you talking about? I just asked if you wanted to join me, but I didn't say I would definitely order something you'd like."
"Tsk, the little dwarf actually has a brain." Dazai Osamu muttered to himself.
"What are you talking about?"
"No--"
After lunch, instead of continuing to look for clues, they were taken to the game hall by Dazai Osamu.
Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya were competing there, while Nezuko went to play the claw machine by herself.
The boss even thoughtfully placed a small stool for her.
I caught three dolls halfway through the game: a slug, a mackerel, and a doll that looked like Tanjiro Kamado. (All the dolls are my own creations ╮(╯▽╰)╭)
"Chuuya-kun—get to work! This is the mission our leader gave us~"
"Shut up!"
