She hasn't eaten braised pork since she was old enough to understand things.
Wu Ruixue gritted her teeth and hurriedly picked up two pieces of meat with her chopsticks and put them into the bright red bowl.
"Mom, eat more, you love braised pork."
Yin Hong was slightly taken aback, and hurriedly put the few pieces of meat back on her plate.
"Xiaoxue, you eat, Mom doesn't like to eat meat."
The way the two of them were deferring to each other touched the hearts of many people around them.

At that time, when Lin Yifeng was the principal, he saw that the children were only eating rice and not vegetables. He immediately ordered the kitchen to provide extra food and told the children that they had to eat at school. If they wanted to take food home, they could ask the kitchen staff to pack it up.
And so, the children at school began to eat normally again.
While they were politely declining, Lin Yifeng, who had been starving all day, was frantically eating as if seeking revenge, completely ignoring the mother and daughter beside him.
This made Bai Yejin frown, and she nudged Lin Yifeng twice with her elbow, while constantly winking at him.
Lin Yifeng naturally understood what she meant, but he didn't react at all.

"Auntie, is there any more?"
The aunt paused for a moment, then nodded repeatedly.
"Yes, and do you want me to serve you another bowl?"
Lin Yifeng waved his hand.
"No need, I can do it myself."
"The same old place, inside the insulated container, right?"
The cook nodded.
Lin Yifeng carried the tray and ran to the kitchen. Soon he brought a large steel basin to the dining table.
Seeing this, Zhou Xuelan also kept complaining.
"You can serve it, but why bring a whole basin?"
"Leave some for the kids, we'll have to make more tonight."
Lin Yifeng, however, dismissed it with a joking remark.
"What's wrong with eating some meat?"
"We can make it again later if it's not enough, right, Auntie?"
As a chef, seeing that someone liked her cooking so much, the auntie was all smiles and teased Zhou Xuelan in various ways.
"Yes, Tiger Girl."
"If Xiaofeng likes to eat it, then let him eat more."
"It's rare for me to come back."
Lin Yifeng smiled and came to the side, first serving himself a spoonful of braised pork, then swung the spoon and looked at Yin Hong and Wu Ruixue beside him.
"Sis, Xiaoxue, would you two like some too?"
Yin Hong and Wu Ruixue shook their heads frantically.
"No need, we have enough to eat."
"No need, Brother Yifeng."
Lin Yifeng, however, acted as if they were old friends and didn't give them a chance to refuse again, giving each of them a spoonful.
"There are only two bites left, let's finish it off in threes."
"I see there's still beef in the fridge tonight, isn't there?"
"Auntie, you can start simmering it in a bit, and we'll stew beef for the kids tonight."
Zhou Xuelan rolled her eyes.
Bai Yejin covered her mouth and chuckled.
The two teachers around Lin Yifeng could only smile wryly.
Amidst the laughter and cheers of the crowd, no one pretended not to notice the red-rimmed eyes of Yin Hong and her daughter.
Lunch was quickly finished, and Zhou Xuelan and Bai Yejin went to help the aunt clear the dishes, while the other two teachers went to prepare for the afternoon's lessons.
Lin Yifeng sat in the cafeteria with the mother and daughter, introducing the place with a smile.
"Sis, this is the food at our school."
"These are all for the children to eat; I can't let them suffer."
"And you can rest assured that you can study here. I plan to set up a junior high school section in a while, and I'll have a whole bus dedicated to picking up and dropping off the children."
Yin Hong was wiping away her tears with a tissue.
It's unclear whether she noticed Lin Yifeng's actions or was simply happy that Wu Ruixue was finally able to study.
The crimson king now felt a complex mix of emotions, difficult to express, as he looked at Lin Yifeng.
Lin Yifeng smiled and, seeing Bai Yejin come out of the kitchen, whispered some instructions.
"Xiao Jin, take Xiao Xue to her classroom and have a look."
"Aren't there already junior high school preparatory classes now?"
"Have Xiaoxue attend a class this afternoon."
After hearing Lin Yifeng's words, Wu Ruixue turned around and looked at Yin Hong with concern.
Yin Hong gently stroked Wu Ruixue's hair, gesturing for her to go over there and listen to the lesson.
After Bai Yejin took Wu Ruixue away, Yin Hong stared intently at Lin Yifeng, her tone pleading.
"Xiaofeng, I'm getting old."
"I don't understand what you're trying to achieve by doing this. Just tell me the truth."
Why are you doing this?
This question truly stumped Lin Yifeng.
Why build a Hope Primary School and do good deeds for our hometown?
Lin Yifeng himself didn't know either.
Lin Yifeng pondered for a moment and then asked a question in return.
"Do I need a reason to do good deeds for my family?"
Yin Hong was stunned for a moment, then suddenly laughed at her own question.
