When Lin Yifeng returned to his room after tidying up, two unfamiliar faces appeared inside.
A tall boy was scrutinizing Bai Yejin, while his parents, standing beside him, were smiling and greeting everyone.
In contrast, another thin boy in the room, dressed in linen clothes, was quietly packing his luggage.
Seeing so many people inside, he subconsciously kicked the urea bags twice, afraid of causing trouble for others.
The place where this boy was sleeping happened to be Lin Yifeng's enemy's.
Lin Yifeng returned to the bedside, smiled slightly at the boy, and took the initiative to extend his hand to him.
"Hello, classmate, I am Lin Yifeng."
The boy was a little stunned.
Upon seeing Lin Yifeng's hand in the middle, she hurriedly wiped her own hands and greeted him tremblingly.
"Hello, my name is Li Si."
Lin Yifeng smiled at the thin Li Si, but didn't say anything more.
The timidity that rural people feel when they first arrive in the city is very evident in Li Si. He is cautious about everything around him, afraid that he might cause trouble for himself if he is not careful.
Lin Yifeng could also see that he was probably the only person from their area to be admitted to this university, and that he was the hope of the entire village.
While the other person was packing their things, Lin Yifeng glanced at the burlap sack out of the corner of his eye.
Inside was a plastic bag containing half a half-eaten steamed bun and two eggs wrapped in the plastic bag.
Based on the other person's accent, Lin Yifeng could guess that this guy was probably from Ganzhou.
Life in Ganzhou these days is not good. As one of the poorest provinces in China, life there is extremely difficult.
Lin Yifeng also let out a long sigh.
They've been roommates for four years, and he usually takes care of Li Si whenever he has free time.
After finishing his work, Lin Yifeng was just about to greet his other roommate in the dormitory.
What he didn't expect was that after putting down his luggage, the boy walked straight towards Bai Yejin, completely ignoring Lin Yifeng and the others inside the room.
"Hello, I am Song Yunsheng."
Bai Yejin looked at the hand Song Yunsheng offered, but only smiled and did not shake hands with him.
"White Hibiscus".
Song Yunsheng awkwardly withdrew his hand before turning to greet Lin Yifeng and Li Si.
Zhou Xuelan also vaguely sensed that something was wrong, and she turned her head to deliberately glance at Lin Yifeng.
Lin Yifeng shrugged.
He was used to this kind of thing. Back when she was in school, Bai Yejin often faced this kind of harassment, and she already knew how to distance herself from such people.
However, what gave Lin Yifeng a headache was that this kid was a bit too cunning.
If there's any opportunity in the future, we should get him out of this dorm as soon as possible and find him a more worry-free place.
As for Meng Ran, he was much older than everyone else, so he just smiled and didn't say anything about this childish behavior.
At this moment, Song Yunsheng's parents inside the house also thought that Meng Ran was Lin Yifeng's parent, and they kept chatting with Meng Ran.
"Sigh, I only have two sons, one of whom is currently working and couldn't come along."
"My youngest son worked very hard this year and got into university."
"Yunsheng, you'll be classmates with them from now on, so you'd better take good care of them."
Song Yunsheng's mother whispered instructions to Song Yunsheng, who was making the bed not far away.
The sight of this wealthy woman adorned with gold and silver made Li Si deliberately avoid her gaze, afraid of offending Song Yunsheng without realizing it.
Lin Yifeng didn't like this kind of environment to begin with, so after tidying up, he invited everyone to go out for a walk.
When Song Yunsheng saw Lin Yifeng leave with Bai Yejin, a hint of surprise appeared in his eyes.
However, even with his parents present, he didn't show any particular attitude.
On the way to eat, Meng Ran lowered her voice and discussed things with Lin Yifeng.
"Yifeng, something's not right with this kid."
Lin Yifeng simply shrugged, seemingly unconcerned.
"It's okay, it doesn't matter."
"Just a little kid."
Meng Ran was stunned for a moment.
But on second thought, compared to Lin Yifeng's maturity, Song Yunsheng really seemed like a child to them, with no significant difference.
After coming out at noon, the group grabbed a quick bite to eat and then went back to their dorm to start packing and getting ready.
Military training starts tomorrow morning, and Lin Yifeng is looking forward to the next few days.
It wasn't until after dinner that Meng Ran suddenly started talking to Lin Yifeng.
"Oh, right."
"I forgot to tell you."
"I am your instructor."
Lin Yifeng stared wide-eyed at Meng Ran beside him.
From yesterday until now, Meng Ran has been giving him surprises.
What surprised him most was that Meng Ran would actually interfere in the military training.
However, given Meng Ran's qualifications, no school would refuse him as an instructor, let alone Zhongzhou University.
Meng Ran is more than qualified to be the chief instructor supervising military training.
Thinking about this, Lin Yifeng couldn't help but tease him.
"I'm already looking forward to it. I'll see how respectful the head instructor is to you, and how exaggerated the expressions will be on the students' faces."
Meng Ran thought for a moment, then scratched his head with a wry smile.
When Lin Yifeng returned to the dormitory, Song Yunsheng had already disappeared, but he didn't bother with him.
As for Li Si, she had only just arrived at school when she borrowed a lot of books from the library and started reading them late into the night.
