Arrested for drinking
Li Jinghe quickly stopped her, saying, "Wait! Now is not the time to kill him!"
Su Yuexing paused, and Li Jinghe continued, "On the one hand, you treat my illness, and on the other hand, you harm me. I don't understand your actions at all."
"So you must be acting under someone's orders!" he asserted.
Sai Taxue appeared calm and composed, and said, "Since Young Master Li is so clever, why don't you guess who my mastermind is?"
Li Jinghe frowned slightly and said, "Are they from the Dream Palace?"
Sai Taxue raised an eyebrow. I didn't expect him to guess that someone from the Meng family would be involved. It seems that the Duke's mansion where he works isn't so great either.
“No.” Sai Taxue shook her head and continued, “Even if you kill me, I won’t tell you.”
He changed the subject, his tone becoming defiant: "Besides, can you kill me?"
"No matter what, I am the Emperor's man. Even if you had the greatest courage in the Duke's mansion, you would never lay a hand on me!"
Li Jinghe clenched his fist; what he said was absolutely right.
Su Yuexing also looked furious, glaring at him with gritted teeth.
Sai Taxue took a few steps forward, and the three guards placed their swords against his neck.

Li Jinghe waved his hand, and the guards put their swords away.

Su Yuexing stepped forward to stop him, but Li Jinghe grabbed her arm and shook his head helplessly. "Sai Taxue is the current emperor's person. We can't just take action against her."
With a gentle wave of his hand, Li Jinghe's bodyguards quickly retreated into the shadows.
She could only watch helplessly as Sai Taxue left, then walked to the base of the tree and angrily punched the trunk.
Her eyes were red and she said angrily, "Just because he's a member of the royal family, does that mean the matter of him killing my sister can be settled?!"
"Isn't my sister's life a life too?"
Looking at her injured hand, Li Jinghe felt a pang of heartache in his eyes and said, "Give me some time, and I will avenge your sister." He then reached out to take her hand.
Su Yuexing pulled it out and said, "No need, this is my family matter, you don't need to worry about it."
No sooner had he finished speaking than a woman's voice came from outside: "Jinghe! I heard you've come to the capital!"
Jiang Nianrou ran in with a big smile, followed by Ye Huaijin.
Hearing the voice, Li Jinghe was surprised and turned around, saying, "Nianrou, how did you know I came to the capital?"
Ye Huaijin, who was behind him, explained, "In the imperial court, I heard your maternal grandfather say that he hopes Doctor Sai will visit the Duke's mansion so that you can properly thank him."

Jiang Nianrou stepped forward and grabbed his arm, saying, "You came to the capital for our marriage, right?"
Ye Huaijin tugged at Jiang Nianrou's sleeve awkwardly, but she ignored him and looked at Li Jinghe with a serious expression.
Su Yuexing felt a pang of displeasure as she watched their intimate actions, but she didn't show it and instead looked away.
Li Jinghe pulled his arm away from her grasp and said seriously, "Nianrou, you're overthinking it. I came to the capital to take care of my own business."
Jiang Nianrou frowned, looking sad, and pursed her lips, saying, "Brother Jinghe, are you still blaming me?"
Li Jinghe clenched his fist slightly, glanced at Su Yuexing beside him, and said, "You guys go out first. There are some things I need to talk to her about alone."
Su Yuexing glanced at Li Jinghe, then left with Ye Huaijin. Both of them felt bad.
After they left, Li Jinghe poured Jiang Nianrou a cup of tea and said, "Have some tea first."
Jiang Nianrou took it, looked at Li Jinghe with a guilty expression, and said, "Brother Jinghe, are you blaming me for not disobeying our parents' wishes to come to Pingchun County to marry you?"
She looked pained, her eyes filled with tears, but she forced herself to stay upright and not let the tears fall.
Li Jinghe reached out and wiped away her tears, saying, "Nianrou, what happened between us is in the past."
Jiang Nianrou looked incredulous and said, "If you really forgot, how could you have so clearly stated how long it had been since we last met last time!"
Li Jinghe lowered his eyes and said, "Remembering those days is a habit I've developed; it's just that I haven't been able to break it yet."
Jiang Nianrou hugged him tightly, shaking her head desperately, "I don't believe it! Brother Jinghe! I don't believe you would forget the feelings we had for each other."
Su Yuexing couldn't resist her curiosity and wanted to peek at them. She crouched down and peeked out, just in time to see this scene.
Ye Huaijin was also among those who witnessed this scene. Although he had long anticipated this outcome, his heart still ached uncontrollably.
Su Yuexing walked out of the Duke's mansion in a daze, and Ye Huaijin followed silently behind her, his face full of loneliness.
Looking at the bustling streets, Su Yuexing was at a loss for where to go. In this vast capital city, it seemed there was nowhere for her to find refuge.
"Why don't we go for a drink and have a night of drinking until we drop?" Ye Huaijin suggested.
Su Yuexing lowered her head, pondering his suggestion. Liu Jin had once told her that alcohol was a good thing to relieve all sorrows!
"Okay!" Su Yuexing gave a wry smile.
“You know the capital well, so you choose the location!” Su Yuexing said.
Ye Huaijin led the way, saying, "Come on! Follow me!"
The two walked together toward the tavern. Xue, the hidden guard, saw this and immediately returned to the Duke's mansion.
Seeing the signal Xue sent, Li Jinghe said to Jiang Nianrou, "Nianrou, I've made myself clear to you. I hope you won't continue to be so stubborn."
Jiang Nianrou shook her head tearfully, saying, "Brother Jinghe, why won't you give us a chance to go back to the way things were before!"
"As long as you agree, I can disregard the Jiang family's objections and marry you without hesitation!"
Seeing Jiang Nianrou's appearance, Li Jinghe felt a pang of heartache and said, "Nianrou, stop making a scene. You'll only make things worse by doing this."
"The reason I won't marry you is simple: because I don't love you anymore."
Jiang Nianrou shook her head in disbelief, grabbing his collar and demanding, "You lied to me! Did you!"
"Our relationship was so good before! Why did you abandon me!"
Li Jinghe pried her hands off her clothes and said coldly, "Nianrou! I hope you understand!"

After Li Jinghe finished speaking, he turned his back. At that moment, Jiang Nianrou's expression was full of disbelief.
She slowly closed her eyes and said, "Jinghe! I will never give up on you!" Then she left the Dream Palace.
After she left, Li Jinghe beckoned, and his bodyguard Xiu appeared, kneeling before him. "Madam went out for drinks with Ye Huaijin."
Li Jinghe's pupils contracted. "What!"
At this moment, both Su Yuexing and Ye Huaijin were somewhat tipsy.
Ye Huaijin tilted his head back and took a sip of wine, his cheeks slightly flushed, and said, "Where exactly did I lose to him?"
"Why does Nianrou keep thinking about him all the time?!"

"I already have someone I like in my heart."
Ye Huaijin stepped forward with a curious expression and asked, "Who is it?"
Su Yuexing didn't answer him. Instead, she tilted her head back and took a sip of her drink, saying dejectedly, "But it seems he doesn't like me anymore."
Ye Huaijin sighed, "We really are in the same boat."
When Li Jinghe arrived at the restaurant, the two men were already so drunk they were unconscious, sleeping on the table.
Seeing this scene, he breathed a sigh of relief, thankfully nothing serious had happened.
He instructed his servants to escort Ye Huaijin back to the Ye residence, then bent down and carried the unconscious Su Yuexing downstairs.
She was placed securely in the carriage, which slowly moved along, its swaying making Su Yuexing feel nauseous.
"Ugh!" She vomited on the carriage as expected, and most of it landed on Li Jinghe.
Li Jinghe clenched his fist, grabbed her collar with one hand, and said coldly, "Su Yuexing! Don't sleep! Get up and do the clothes!"
Su Yuexing opened her eyes groggily and said, "Brother Liu Jin! Why are you here?" After saying that, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed Li Jinghe's face with her red lips.
"Brother Liu Jin! I miss you so much!" she mumbled.
Li Jinghe's face was gloomy as he looked at Su Yuexing in his arms. He wanted to strangle her!
He took a deep breath and mistook me for someone else! He stared at her with a wicked look in his eyes and leaned down to kiss her.
I'll make sure you know exactly who's in front of you!
Su Yuexing felt like she couldn't breathe and desperately pounded on him. When she saw the face in front of her, her eyes widened. Li Jinghe! What was he doing?
She pushed him away with all her might and demanded, "Li Jinghe! What are you doing?"
Seeing that her eyes were clear, Li Jinghe felt secretly pleased and said in a sly tone, "I just wanted you to see clearly who the person in front of you is!"
Su Yuexing looked at him warily and asked, "What do you want to do?"
Li Jinghe took off his coat and threw it at Su Yuexing, saying, "Look what you've done!"
Su Yuexing frowned when she saw the vomit on her clothes and asked, "What do you mean by this?"
Li Jinghe raised an eyebrow and said, "You're the one who got the clothes dirty, so of course you should wash them for me."
Su Yuexing tossed his clothes aside and agreed, "Okay, I'll wash them for you when we get back to the Dream Mansion."
She lowered her eyes and said, "You are not allowed to do anything excessive to me again!"
Li Jinghe said, "This is not an excessive act; it's just a normal thing between husband and wife."
Seeing his shamelessness, Su Yuexing gritted her teeth in anger and said, "Shameless! You scoundrel!"
Seeing her scold him, Li Jinghe didn't feel angry; instead, he felt an indescribable excitement.
Back at the Duke's mansion, the two got off the carriage. "Why were you drinking? And with a man, no less," he asked.
Su Yuexing was still angry and said with a straight face, "What's wrong with drinking? Who says I can't drink?" After saying that, she walked forward on her own.
Li Jinghe followed behind helplessly, explaining, "Tell me if you have any grievances or difficulties."
"Alcohol is bad for your health. Don't do things like that to hurt yourself next time."
“My affairs are none of your business,” Su Yuexing said coldly.
