Xie Xuanye knelt on the ground, head bowed, something hidden in his eyes.
"Where have you been these past few days?" Xie's father, sitting above, pressed.
Xie Xuanye replied respectfully, "I wasn't going anywhere, I was just taking a stroll."
Father Xie stared at him silently for a long time.
“His Majesty’s health is deteriorating, and the number of militia uprisings in Yun Kingdom has been increasing in recent years. As important officials of Yun Kingdom, our Xie family has a lot to worry about.” Xie’s father said, his eyes fixed on Xie Xuanye.
Xie Xuanye slowly raised his eyelids and said, "I understand what Father is saying."
His tone suddenly became more serious as he said, "However, I will not have a political marriage! So please don't try to persuade me!"
"You!" Xie's father advised.
Seeing Xie Xuanye's firm attitude, Xie's father sighed heavily and said, "We would never harm you."
Xie Xuanye said, "If Father has nothing else to say, I will return."
Mr. Xie waved his hand helplessly and said, "Go back now."
When Xie Xuanye pushed open the door, he saw Princess Changyang and Su Yuexing sitting on stools.
Princess Changyang said gratefully, "Thank you for saving me."
Xie Xuanye raised an eyebrow slightly, glancing at Su Yuexing who was drinking water. He hadn't expected that she had actually managed to win over the princess.
Xie Xuanye bowed respectfully and said, "This is what I should do."
Su Yuexing put down the cup in her hand and walked to the door, saying, "Xie Xuanye, come out for a moment, I have something to tell you."
Xie Xuanye glanced at Princess Changyang, then closed the door and followed behind Su Yuexing.
Su Yuexing glanced at the distance between them and the room, then stopped at a corner and said, "I've taken care of what you asked me to do."

Su Yuexing was furious and shook off his hand, saying, "Xie Xuanye! You have no right to tell me what to do!" Then she continued walking forward.
She sensed someone attacking her from behind, quickly dodged to the side, and said imposingly, "Xie Xuanye, I don't want to fight you."
Xie Xuanye said calmly, "I don't want to either, but if you insist on leaving, then I'm sorry."
The two started fighting in the courtyard, and Xie Xuanye's skills were far superior to hers.
Su Yuexing was struggling to fight back when Xie Xuanye struck her in the abdomen with a palm strike.
Su Yuexing staggered back several steps, clutching her stomach, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. She wiped her mouth and said, "Xie Xuanye, it seems you're serious about me!"
Seeing that she had been injured by him, Xie Xuanye felt bad, but remembering his promise to Li Jinghe, he had no choice but to do it.

Su Yuexing nodded and said, "Otherwise what! Do you think I'm out having fun?"
Xie Xuanye thought for a moment and asked, "Who killed your brother?"
Su Yuexing said fiercely, "Sai Taxue!"
Xie Xuanye was silent for a moment before replying, "If I bring him to the Xie residence, will you stay here obediently?"
Su Yuexing stared in shock, "You think your house isn't chaotic enough? You're hiding a princess, and you're even planning to kidnap Sai Taxue!"
"I think you've lost your mind."
Xie Xuanye replied earnestly, "As long as you promise me you won't leave the Xie residence."
Su Yuexing, seeing that he didn't seem to be joking, said, "Are you serious?"
Xie Xuanye opened the door and warned, "You stay right here!" Then the door was closed.
Su Yuexing wondered, could he really bring Sai Taxue with him?
Inside the palace, Sai Taxue emerged from the bathtub and took the clothes from the eunuch's hands.
Xie Xuanye, hiding in the shadows, witnessed everything.
After the eunuchs left, Xie Xuanye emerged from the shadows and stood behind Sai Taxue.
Sai Taxue reacted quickly, turned around, and demanded, "Who dares to trespass into the palace!"
Xie Xuanye did not answer him, but instead quickly attacked him.
Sai Taxue's eyes were sharp, and as soon as he opened his mouth, Xie Xuanye's sword was already at his neck.
The words he wanted to utter remained stuck in his throat as he silently stared at the man in black before him.
Xie Xuanye took out a black hood from his pocket and put it on his head.
Su Yuexing was lying in bed when she heard the noise. She quickly got up and looked towards the door.
Xie Xuanye appeared outside and said, "Come with me."
Su Yuexing yawned and asked, "Where are you going so late?"
"Didn't you say you were going to bring Sai Taxue back?"
Xie Xuanye said coldly, "Do you really think I'm so stupid as to bring him to the Xie residence?"
Upon hearing this, Su Yuexing exclaimed, "You caught him!" She quickly got off the bed and walked to his side.
Xie Xuanye glanced at her, turned and left, with Su Yuexing following closely behind.
Xie Xuanye led Su Yuexing to a dilapidated temple. "Ugh!" A rag was stuffed into Ta Xue's mouth, and her eyes were bound with a black cloth.
His hands and feet were also tightly bound, and he struggled even more violently when he heard footsteps.
Su Yuexing stared at the person before her, her eyes flashing with murderous intent. She clenched her fists tightly. It was all his fault! He was the one who killed Xiaobao! And Yuewei too!

Xie Xuanye noticed something was wrong with her and watched her walk step by step toward Sai Taxue.
She removed the blindfold from Sateux's face.

Sai Taxue looked at Su Yuexing, then at Xie Xuanye, and said, "The person who brought me here must be Li Jinghe, right?"
Xie Xuanye lowered his eyes; it seemed he had mistaken me for Jing He.
Su Yuexing demanded, "Why did you kill my brother!"
"And what else! What did my sister do?!"
"You're going to kill her too!" she said, grabbing his collar in a fit of rage. "You've ruined my family!"
Xie Xuanye stepped forward and pulled her back, afraid that she would do something inappropriate.
Sai Taxue calmly said, "It seems you already know some things."
Su Yuexing clenched her fists and asked, "Why?"
Sai Taxue sneered, glanced at Xie Xuanye beside her, and said, "You would never guess that this matter is related to him."
The two were startled. Su Yuexing looked at Xie Xuanye. At this moment, they both understood that the person Sai Taxue was talking about was Li Jinghe.
“Tell me! What is the reason?” she demanded.
Sai Taxue said calmly, "Then you should ask him who he is!" After saying that, a strange smile appeared on his lips.
Xie Xuanye lowered his head and frowned. Jing He's identity? He's the grandson of the Duke's family. Is there some hidden story behind this?
Su Yuexing had no patience to beat around the bush with him, so she pulled the sword out of Xie Xuanye's hand and slashed it hard at his shoulder.
"Ah!" His face contorted in pain. "Su Yuexing!" he cried out through gritted teeth.
Su Yuexing questioned again, "Tell me the reason! Otherwise, I'll injure your other arm too."
Sai Taxue stared at her quietly for a while, then Su Yuexing tightened her grip.
"I'll talk!" Sai Taxue had no choice but to give in.
Su Yuexing deftly sheathed her sword and returned it to Xie Xuanye.
"If you lie even half a word, I'll make you wish you were dead!" A ruthless glint flashed in her eyes as she spoke.
To prevent him from fainting from excessive blood loss, Xie Xuanye thoughtfully took out a handkerchief and bandaged his injured shoulder.
Sai Taxue said, "Since ancient times, medicine and witchcraft have been inseparable. I not only know medicine, but also witchcraft."
Su Yuexing and Xie Xuanye looked at each other, their eyes revealing shock.
