Li Jinghe looked around, then silently pulled her to the carriage. "Get in!"
Su Yuexing said reluctantly, "Didn't you tell me to get out of the car?"
Li Jinghe called out again: "Su Yuexing!"
Su Yuexing had no choice but to get into the carriage, and Li Jinghe followed.
After the carriage set off, Li Jinghe spoke again: "Do you still remember what you promised me when you came to the capital?"

The woman next to him trembled upon hearing his words, and her face turned deathly pale.
The old lady quickly comforted her, "Shulan, don't listen to my grandson's nonsense. His marriage was arranged by his muddle-headed father, and our Meng family doesn't recognize it!"
Li Jinghe firmly stated, "I admit it!"
The old lady said with displeasure, "What! What did you say!" Her other hand unconsciously tightened its grip on the chair.
Li Jinghe reiterated firmly, "I acknowledge that Su Yuexing is my wife!"
Tang Shulan glanced at Li Jinghe kneeling on the ground, then at Su Yuexing who remained silent beside her.
"Madam, I have other matters to attend to at home, so I will take my leave now," she said.
Seeing her get up to leave, the old lady didn't feel comfortable asking her to stay, and said, "I'll get up and see you off."

"You!" the old lady exclaimed angrily.
The old woman beside her patted her back to calm her down, saying, "Madam! Calm down!"
"You're just like your mother, you're here to annoy me!" the old lady said angrily.
Li Jinghe remained silent. Su Yuexing secretly glanced at his expression, then silently lowered her eyes again.
