Leaving the Li residence
The Li family had no peace that night. Li Zhi heard that his son had been so angry with Su Yuexing that he vomited blood, so he rushed to Changshou Garden.
Dongyang stood guard outside the door. "How is it, Dongyang?" Li Zhi asked.
Dongyang explained, "Doctor Sai has been inside for an hour and a half."
Hearing the commotion, Xie Xuanye hid in a tree and watched what was happening below.
Li Zhi coldly questioned, "What did the young mistress say to the young master?"
Dongyang lowered his head and said cautiously, "The young mistress wants the young master to divorce her!"
"Or perhaps...she divorced the young master!"
Upon hearing this, Li Zhi's eyebrows shot up, and he exclaimed in shock, "What!"
Upon hearing this news, Xie Xuanye rushed to Xinning Garden.
Su Yuexing lay in bed, her mind still replaying her conversation with Master Huiyun during the day.
Hearing a knock on the door, Su Yuexing became alert. "Who is it?"
Xie Xuanye said, "It's me, Xie Xuanye!"

Li Jinghe said weakly, "I'm fine, I'm much better now."
"It's so late, Dad should get some rest."
"How can I sleep when you're like this!" Li Zhi said worriedly.
Li Jinghe saw Su Yuexing come in from outside and his eyes were fixed on her.
Li Zhi looked at him and saw Su Yuexing, which made him furious.
He walked over to Su Yuexing and said, "I let you into our Li family so that my son's illness can be cured!"
"Instead of making his condition worse!"
“If this happens again, you’d better think about your sister!” he threatened.

Only Su Yuexing and Li Jinghe were in the room. "Why did you leave the Li family?" he asked.

"My friend taught me to read."

Su Yuexing looked at the words on the paper and realized that they were indeed not as good as Liu Jin's.
Throughout my life, I've only ever seen Liu Jin's handwriting. Although my own handwriting isn't very good, he always praises me.

"Sister!" Su Yuewei said impatiently.
"Su Yuewei! I'm telling you! I'm not only leaving! I'm taking you with me!" Su Yuexing slung the packed bundle over her shoulder, took Su Yuewei's hand, and walked outside.
"Sister! I won't go! I won't go!" Su Yuewei struggled as she walked.
As they walked down the street, a group of servants appeared, carrying sticks. Li Zhi stood behind them. "Where are you going?"
Su Yuexing stopped in her tracks and said, "I have already divorced Li Jinghe, so there is no reason for me to stay at the Li residence."
Li Zhi's expression turned cold, and he said, "Since that's the case, then hand over the betrothal gifts that my Li family gave you!"
"I..." Su Yuexing didn't know what to say for a moment.
Li Zhi's gaze fell on Su Yuewei, and he said in a low voice, "If you can't pay the bride price, then come with me to the yamen and let the county magistrate make a decision for our Li family!"
