Meeting Xie Xuanye

Meeting Xie Xuanye

The man in black threw the unconscious Princess Changyang to the ground and said, "Thank you, sir. We've brought her back!"

Xie Xuanye turned around, looked at Yang Changfeng on the ground, and said, "You've worked hard."

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Su Yuexing struggled to speak, but her mouth was covered.

Xie Xuanye pointed to the person struggling beside him and asked, "Who is this?"

Yang Changfeng explained, "It was a woman. She saw the whole process of us kidnapping the princess. To prevent her from leaking the information, I kidnapped her."

Xie Xuanye smiled, "The dead are the best at keeping secrets. You're doing this because you've taken a liking to her."

Su Yuexing frowned, struggling even more violently. "You bastard Xie Xuanye! You actually tried to kill me!"

"Let me go!" she roared angrily in her mind.

Yang Changfeng's eyes crinkled with laughter, "Lord Xie understands me best."

Xie Xuanye waved his hand and said seriously, "Playing with women is fine, but we absolutely cannot let women delay our important business!"

Yang Changfeng respectfully replied with both hands, "Yes!" He lowered his head, his eyes darting around, and said, "Since you don't have a confidante by your side, why don't I take this opportunity to give this woman to you?"

As he spoke, he removed the hood from Su Yuexing's head. The moment Xie Xuanye saw Su Yuexing's face, the words of refusal stuck in his throat.

Xie Xuanye looked at Su Yuexing, who looked disheveled, and asked in surprise, "How come it's you?"

Yang Changfeng, who was standing next to him, was slightly startled when he heard what he said. The two of them knew each other!

Xie Xuanye quickly stepped forward and removed the cloth from Su Yuexing's mouth, asking, "What happened?"

Once her mouth was free, Su Yuexing immediately said, "I still want to ask you something!"

She looked around at the people and asked, "Who are these people?"

"You not only kidnapped the princess, you kidnapped me too!"

Xie Xuanye immediately covered her mouth and said to Changyang Feng beside him, "I'll take this woman. You take the princess away and keep a close watch on her!"

Yang Changfeng glanced at Su Yuexing and Xie Xuanye, and respectfully said, "Yes!" Then he led his men away.

After everyone in the room had left, Xie Xuanye released her mouth and said, "Why didn't you stay in the Dream Palace properly!"

What are you doing running off to the princess's side!

Su Yuexing didn't answer him immediately, but said, "Help me untie the ropes."

Upon hearing this, Xie Xuanye loosened the ropes binding her.

Su Yuexing rubbed her wrists, stood up from the ground, and looked around, asking, "Princess, when are you going to kill them?"

Xie Xuanye explained, "We won't kill her for now; if we wanted to, we would have done it already."

He asked in confusion, "Why do you say that?"

What grudge do you have against the princess?

Su Yuexing told him about her younger brother's trip to Beijing for medical treatment.

"You mean the princess murdered your brother!" Xie Xuanye said.

Su Yuexing nodded seriously and said, "Yes!"

"I'm going to kill her to avenge my brother!" she said, a murderous glint in her eyes.

Xie Xuanye said, "Calm down first. I think your brother's matter is not that simple."

“If the princess wanted to kill someone, there would be no need for so many twists and turns. There must be other hidden reasons.”

Su Yuexing looked at Xie Xuanye with a surprised expression, not expecting him to speak up for the princess.

Xie Xuanye explained, "I've lived in the capital since I was a child, and I've had some contact with the princess."

"If the princess really wants to kill someone, she can simply issue an order, and her subordinates will naturally execute the person immediately."

Su Yuexing's eyes darted around, and she said, "How about this, you lock me up with the princess, there are some things I really want to ask her about."

Xie Xuanye pondered for a moment, and Su Yuexing, seeing his hesitant expression, asked, "What are you struggling with?"

Xie Xuanye said seriously, "I can help you, but you must not reveal any information about me to the princess!"

Su Yuexing nodded in agreement, "I understand."

"Don't worry, I will absolutely not reveal a single thing about your identity or our relationship!"

She glanced at him and said, "But I want to know, what exactly are you doing?"

"You dare to kidnap a princess? Do you intend to rebel?" she said casually.

Xie Xuanye's heart skipped a beat, and he said, "Don't ask what you shouldn't ask!"

“If anyone else finds out that I kidnapped the princess, then you can forget about ever seeing Li Jinghe alive,” he threatened.

Seeing his fierce demeanor, he swallowed hard and said, "I understand, I will definitely not ruin your plans!"

Xie Xuanye ordered his men to lock Su Yuexing and Princess Changyang up together.

Su Yuexing's hands and feet were tied, but this time her mouth wasn't gagged.

Upon entering the cell, Princess Changyang lay motionless on the ground. "Princess! Princess!" Su Yuexing called softly.

Princess Changyang heard the sound, slowly opened her eyes, and saw an unfamiliar place. Her face turned pale with fright.

She tried to speak, but found her mouth was gagged with a cloth. "Mmm!"

Su Yuexing moved her body and managed to remove the cloth from her mouth with her hand.

"Where am I?" she asked in a panic.

Su Yuexing shook her head and said, "I don't know either. I woke up here just like you."

Princess Changyang carefully examined the person before her, then suddenly remembered, "I've seen you before!"

"You're from Liu Jin's hometown!"

Su Yuexing nodded and said, "I didn't expect the princess to still remember me."

Princess Changyang roared, "I am the Second Princess of the Emperor! Release me now! Otherwise, I will have my father exterminate your entire clan!"

Seeing her do this, Su Yuexing looked helpless. "Princess, they kidnapped you because they wanted your identity."

Princess Changyang was taken aback and looked at her, asking, "Then why did they tie you up?"

Su Yuexing had already thought of how to explain this, and said, "I was just passing by and happened to see them attacking you."

"So they kidnapped me too."

Su Yuexing asked, "Think about it, did you do something heinous that made them kidnap you?"

Princess Changyang frowned in thought, muttering, "Did they do something heinous?"

Su Yuexing nodded and said, "Yes! Think about it carefully!"

Princess Changyang shook her head and said, "No! I am not that kind of vicious person!"

Su Yuexing drooped her eyelids, feeling quite disdainful. "Keep pretending!"

Su Yuexing began to guide the conversation: "Have you ever harmed a little boy who came to the capital for medical treatment, but ended up being treated by a quack doctor and died because of it?"

Princess Changyang immediately became alert and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Su Yuexing explained, "I was just using an analogy!"

Princess Changyang narrowed her eyes. "Do you think I'm a fool?"

The atmosphere between the two was tense. Su Yuexing spoke again, "Since that's the case, then I'll make myself clear."

“I am Su Yueyang’s older sister. My purpose in coming to the capital is to investigate the truth.”

Princess Changyang asked in confusion, "Who is Su Yueyang?"

Su Yuexing's eyes turned cold, and she said, "It seems that the princess really does have a bad memory!"

"Liu Jin asked you to go to the palace to ask the divine physician to treat that child!"

Princess Changyang's eyes widened. "I remember now!"

"You are that person's older sister!"

"Yes! Tell me now! Why did you kill my brother?" Su Yuexing demanded.

Princess Changyang shook her head and said, "No! I didn't kill him!"

"I went to the palace and begged my father to lend me the divine physician Sai, but he absolutely refused."

"Later, Dr. Sai took the initiative to find me and said he was willing to help me treat the child."

Su Yuexing sensed something was wrong and said, "You mean, Sai Taxue offered to help my brother get treatment!"

Princess Changyang nodded and said, "Yes! But he demanded that we not tell anyone about him seeking my help to treat his illness, otherwise..."

Su Yuexing frowned and asked, "Otherwise what will happen?"

Princess Changyang lowered her head and said, "Otherwise, Liu Jin's life will be in danger."

"Then why are you willing to talk about it now?" Su Yuexing asked, puzzled.

Princess Changyang explained, "Because this matter has been weighing on my mind for a long time!"

"He was the one who offered to treat your brother, but why did he end up killing him? And now I'm being blamed for it all this time."

"Liu Jin has always held a grudge against me because of this incident."

Su Yuexing sized her up and said, "Aren't you afraid that Liu Jin will be in danger if you tell this story?"

Princess Changyang was silent for a while before saying, "I've had a lot of conflicts with him these past few days."

"I'm so tired. If possible, his death would be a relief for me."

Su Yuexing frowned deeply; she really was a ruthless woman.

Princess Changyang changed the subject, "But I think if Sai Taxue really kills Liu Jin because I told him about this, then he would be challenging the authority of our Ouyang family!"

"If Liu Jin dies, I will not let him go!" Princess Changyang threatened fiercely.

Su Yuexing pursed her lips and said, "So you mean that Sai Taxue is the murderer who killed my brother!"

Princess Changyang nodded firmly and said, "Yes!"

“I have no grudge against your brother, so there is no need for me to harm him.”

Su Yuexing remained silent. What she said made some sense. It seemed that all the mysteries lay with Sai Taxue.

Only by finding him can this mystery be solved.

"Do you have any way to take me into the palace to find Sai Taxue?" Su Yuexing asked.

Princess Changyang sneered, "Do you think I'm in a position to enter the palace right now?"

Su Yuexing was taken aback, not having thought of this question for a moment. She looked embarrassed and said, "I am a little anxious."

In the Meng residence, the eldest son rushed in from outside, exclaiming, "I've found out! I've found out about the kidnapping of Madam Li!"

Li Jinghe's lips curled up; this little beggar really did have some skills.

“Speak,” he said.

The little beggar stood in front of him and said, "You're not even excited to hear this news?"

Li Jinghe's eyes darkened as he said, "Does my excitement have anything to do with the information you're telling me?"

The little beggar thought for a moment, then shook his head and said, "It doesn't matter."

Li Jinghe urged, "Then speak!"

Dongyang, standing nearby, understood that his master was anxious.

The little beggar said, "We found out that the people who kidnapped the princess were a group of militiamen who recently revolted."

"The leader is very mysterious, and this militia has about 30,000 people, so their power is quite large."

"I suspect they kidnapped the princess to plot against the imperial court!"

Li Jinghe frowned deeply. Militia! If I'm not mistaken, Xie Xuanye seems to be doing something very big!
