Poisoning
Sai Taxue walked over with an umbrella and said, "Bring her in."
Dongxi asked in shock, "Me?"
Sai Taxue looked over as if to say, "If it's not you, then it's me?"
Dongxi said weakly, "Let me do it."
Dongxi picked her up, and the two returned to the inn. He placed Su Yuexing on the bed and said, "Young master, I'll go downstairs to change my clothes first."
Sai Taxue nodded slightly.
After Dongxi left, Sai Taxue took Su Yuexing's pulse.
Li Jinghe, sitting in the carriage, urged, "Hurry up."
"Yes." Sitting outside, Dongyang cracked his whip hard. "Giddy up!"
Despite his calm expression, Li Jinghe was extremely anxious.
His hands clenched into fists. "Su Yuexing! You absolutely must not get hurt."
When they arrived at the inn, they did not find Su Yuexing on the street.
"Where is she? I clearly saw the young mistress kneeling here before I left," Hua Hong said anxiously.
After changing his clothes, Dongxi glanced out the window and saw Li Jinghe on the street. He then stood by the window and shouted, "Young Master Li!"
The three looked up at the sound and said, "The person you're looking for is in my young master's room right now."
Li Jinghe said to Dongyang behind him, "Go in."
The three of them immediately entered the inn. Dongxi stood at the top of the stairs to greet them and said, "Come with me."
After taking Dongxi's pulse, Sai Taxue said, "Dongxi, go and brew a bowl of ginger juice."
Seeing no response, he said, "This kid, why are you taking so long to change your clothes?"
"Knock knock knock!" A knock sounded at the door. "Young master, Young Master Li has arrived."
Sai Taxue then got up to open the door, and Dongyang immediately pushed Li Jinghe inside when the door opened.
Li Jinghe looked at the person on the bed, whose pale face and lips were trembling uncontrollably.
"Hua Hong, quickly go and change her clothes," Li Jinghe instructed.
"Yes," Hua Hong replied.
After everyone left the room, Sai Taxue looked Li Jinghe up and down and said, "Do you know that your illness cannot be aggravated by cold?"
Li Jinghe said expressionlessly, "I know."
Sai Taxue pursed her lips helplessly, knowing he was still coming out, and stepped forward to grab his wrist.
Li Jinghe asked warily, "What are you doing?"
Sai Taxue said irritably, "I'm a doctor, what do you think I can do?"
"If that person hadn't specifically instructed me to cure you, do you think I would care about you?" Sai Taxue glanced at Li Jinghe indifferently, then focused on taking his pulse.
A quarter of an hour later, Sai Taxue said, "If you continue to neglect your health like this, don't expect me to cure you."
The door opened from the inside. "It's all changed, young master," Hua Hong said.
"Dongxi, go and make her a bowl of ginger soup," Sai Taxue instructed.
Dongxi said reluctantly, "Okay."
Young master is truly kind-hearted. Even though that woman slapped you, he is still so good to her.
Looking at Sai Taxue in front of him, Li Jinghe felt that he did not seem like a quack doctor, and said, "Dr. Sai, have you ever killed someone with your treatment?"
Sai Taxue stiffened, using a smile to hide her unease, and asked, "Why did you suddenly ask that, young master?"
Li Jinghe said quietly, "Because I've heard that you've killed someone." He stared at him, not missing any expression on his face.
“You’re joking. The patients I treat are all royalty. If I really killed someone, do you think I’d still be standing here unharmed?” Sai Taxue said.
Su Yuexing slowly opened her eyes, "Hua Hong."
The other two turned around upon hearing the sound.
Li Jinghe asked with a gloomy face, "Who told you to come here!"
Su Yuexing saw Li Jinghe appear here, with Sai Taxue standing next to him.
She looked at Hua Hong with a puzzled expression. "What's going on?"
"I remember I was kneeling on the ground, and it was raining heavily."
"After that..." She thought for a long time but couldn't remember.
Sai Taxue chimed in from the side, "Then you fainted, and Dongxi and I carried you in."
Dongxi came in from outside, carrying a bowl of ginger soup, and said, "Young master, the ginger soup is ready."

After saying that, he continued walking outside.
