Su Yuexing encounters danger on her way home
After hearing what Yue said, Li Jinghe's face immediately darkened.
Su Yuexing! You still won't give up!
"Miss Su, you can't go in." Dongyang's voice came from outside.
Su Yuewei pleaded, "Brother Dongyang, please let me in to take a look. I've been very worried about my brother-in-law's health these past few days!"

After leaving the Li residence, Su Yuexing hired a carriage and hurried back to Xikou Village.
Unexpectedly, halfway through the journey, the horse suddenly became uncontrollable and ran wildly.
Sitting in the carriage, Su Yuexing felt her stomach churning.
On a downhill slope, the coachman turned to the carriage and said, "Miss, you'll have to jump out."
After saying that, she jumped off the carriage in a flash. Su Yuexing got out of the carriage, but there was no sign of the coachman.

"Yes." Dongyang accepted the order and left.
Su Yuexing slowly opened her eyes and found herself lying by the river. Where was she? She looked around.
She hadn't died! Su Yuexing patted her chest, still shaken.
She tried to get up, but felt a pain in her knee. "Ouch? That hurts."
Her face contorted in pain as she looked at herself in the water. The mask was gone, and her face had returned to its original state.
She touched her face; she must have fallen off a cliff. The medicine in the bottle dissolved in the water, causing the human skin mask on her face to fall off.
Having already left the Li residence, it no longer mattered whether he wore a mask or not.
There happened to be a tree branch nearby, so she picked it up and used it to support herself as she slowly stood up.
Her stomach rumbled, and Su Yuexing rubbed it helplessly. "Stop rumbling. If there's food, I'll eat it."
It took Su Yuexing more than an hour to walk out of the mountains.
Under the blazing sun, Su Yuexing limped along the official road, when she heard the sound of a carriage approaching from behind.
Su Yuexing mustered her courage and stopped the carriage. "Whoa!" The coachman pulled on the reins, bringing the carriage to a halt.
A male voice came from inside the carriage, "What's wrong?"
The coachman turned around and explained, "A woman is blocking our way."
Su Yuexing immediately said, "I came to the mountains to hunt and accidentally twisted my ankle."
"Could someone please give me a ride?"
The carriage curtain was lifted, and a man with striking features appeared. His eyes scanned Su Yuexing up and down as he asked, "We're going to Pingchun County, but it might not be on the same route as you, young lady."
Su Yuexing quickly replied, "It's on the way. You can drop me off about 20 li away from Pingchun County. I can take an oxcart home from there."
Ye Huaijin said warily, "But judging from the young lady's attire, she doesn't seem to be out hunting."
Su Yuexing looked down at the silk she was wearing and said, "I was in such a hurry to come out that I didn't have time to change my clothes."
"Huaijin, let this young lady come up," a female voice advised.
Ye Huaijin looked displeased, but still nodded in agreement.
Su Yuexing said, "Thank you both!"
With the coachman's help, Su Yuexing boarded the carriage.
The woman who had just spoken up for her exuded a gentle aura, which made Su Yuexing feel particularly good towards her. "Thank you, young lady."
The smell of sweat from Su Yuexing filled the cramped space of the carriage.
Ye Huaijin and Jiang Nianrou unconsciously frowned.
Su Yuexing noticed the strange look on their faces and said, "I smell bad, let's go sit outside."
She came out and sat down with the coachman.
