They were caught again.

They were caught again.

Su Yuexing recalled all the times she had spent with Liu Jin in the past, and wondered: Has he really changed?

"Who's there?" A voice suddenly came from afar.

The two were so frightened that they quickly hid behind a rock, holding their breath and not daring to make a sound.

As the footsteps grew closer, Su Yuexing broke out in a cold sweat.

The person who came wanted to see behind the rock when a whistle sounded from the air.

The appearance of this sound indicated that something important had happened. He looked nervous and hurriedly ran towards a certain place.

Su Yuexing and Princess Changyang both breathed a sigh of relief.

Changyang Feng stood on top and said, "The princess and that woman ran away!"

"Seale this place completely! Don't let a single fly out!"

"Yes!" the crowd responded.

Su Yuexing led Princess Changyang forward, but the path to the outside was blocked by people.

"What are we going to do? We can't get out." Princess Changyang said, hiding behind a rock with a worried look on her face.

Su Yuexing frowned. I led away the people guarding this place by myself, letting Princess Changyang go back on her own.

Whether she can return safely depends on her fate.

"I'll go and distract them. Take care of yourself. I hope that when I see you next time, you can keep your promise to me."

Before Princess Changyang could even react after she finished speaking, she rushed out and shouted at them, "I'm here! Come and catch me!"

After she finished speaking, she quickly turned around, and a group of people followed her closely.

Princess Changyang looked at the gate and saw that there was no one guarding it. She immediately emerged from the shadows and ran away.

She didn't care that her clothes were torn by the branches; she only had one thought in her mind: to run.

If I am captured by those bandits, I will be doomed forever!

Yang Changfeng watched as his men arrested Su Yuexing and angrily said, "You're not one of the adults! Why are you helping an outsider?"

Su Yuexing remained silent.

"Guards! Take him away and keep him under strict guard! He'll await the magistrate's return and will be dealt with accordingly!" Yang Changfeng ordered.

Su Yuexing was thrown back into the cell and locked up again.

Xie Xuanye saw a figure in the distance running in his direction.

Princess Changyang kept looking back to see what was happening behind her, but she didn't notice that there was a person standing not far from her.

"Ouch!" She bumped into someone, looked up, and froze. "Xie Xuanye!"

He frowned, realizing that he wasn't wearing a hood this time.

How did she escape? If I capture her and bring her back, she will naturally find out that I betrayed the court.

But if I send her back to the capital now, what will happen to the brothers in the mountains?

Seeing that Xie Xuanye hadn't spoken to her, Princess Changyang waved her hand in front of his eyes.

"What's wrong? Say something," she said.

Xie Xuanye regained his composure and asked, "Why would the princess appear in this desolate wilderness?"

Princess Changyang said anxiously, "Now is not the time to speak!"

"Run! There are bandits around here!"

As she passed Xie Xuanye, his eyes turned cold, and he swiftly knocked her unconscious with a single palm strike.

Xie Xuanye carried the unconscious Princess Changyang into the village.

"Commander Yang! The Lord is back!" the people around exclaimed excitedly.

Yang Changfeng came out of the house and saw the woman Xie Xuanye was holding. His face lit up with joy, and he said, "My lord! You've brought the princess back!"

Xie Xuanye glanced indifferently at the woman in his arms and asked, "How did she escape?"

Yang Changfeng explained, "It was that woman the adult knew who led the princess to escape."

Xie Xuanye gritted his teeth. This Su Yuexing! She almost ruined my plans! His men took the princess from his arms.

He walked toward the cell with a dark expression, then suddenly stopped and said, "Separate the two of them into different cells."

"Yes!" the subordinate replied.

With her hands and feet bound, Su Yuexing could only sit on the ground, bored out of her mind, counting how many blades of grass were under her feet.

Hearing footsteps outside, Su Yuexing looked up and saw Xie Xuanye walking over with a gloomy face.

He stared down at her.

Su Yuexing tried to stand up, but her legs went numb and she fell back down unsteadily.

Xie Xuanye said coldly, "Su Yuexing! What did you promise me!"

"You said you wouldn't cause me any trouble!"

Su Yuexing looked embarrassed and said, "I'm sorry, I have my reasons."

Xie Xuanye clenched his fists, looking at her with eyes like those of an enemy, "Your predicament almost killed me and these brothers!"

Su Yuexing pursed her lips and stopped talking, her mood sinking to rock bottom. After a long while, she finally managed to utter a sentence, "I'm sorry."

Xie Xuanye said disdainfully, "You think you can make me forgive you with just an apology?"

He then added, "If it weren't for Li Jinghe, I would have made you disappear from my sight long ago!"

After hearing what he said, Su Yuexing quickly replied, "There's no need. If you want me to die, you can just give me a quick death now!"

Xie Xuanye narrowed his eyes, drew his sword, cut the lock, and held the sword to her neck. "You think I wouldn't dare?"

The pain in her neck made Su Yuexing tremble involuntarily.

Fresh blood flowed from Su Yuexing's neck. "Don't bring her any food for three days and three nights!" Xie Xuanye finished speaking, sheathed his sword, and turned to leave.

Everything that happened here was observed by Xue, who was hiding in the shadows.

She slowly lowered her eyes, sensing a powerful presence behind her.

She reacted quickly and dodged to the side.

The three of them entered the woods one after the other. Hua and Yue said with grave expressions, "Xue! Why didn't you save Madam?"

Xue lowered her eyes and said, "Because I don't want to."

"But I never imagined that the person who kidnapped her was Young Master Xie."

Yue and Hua exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with shock. Yue asked, "Why?"

Hua asked doubtfully, "Could it be that you have also betrayed your master?"

Xue immediately looked up and replied, "No!"

"I have not betrayed my master! I want my master to get better more than anyone else!"

She paused slightly after speaking, then continued, "I just feel that she is not good enough for the master."

Hua and Yue looked shocked. After a long while, Hua finally spoke, "Xue, you wouldn't happen to like Master, would you?"

Xue slowly lowered her eyes, neither denying nor denying, but her silence was an admission.

Yue cleared her throat and said, "Do you know why we came out this time?"

Xue said, "It was my master who ordered you to take me back."

Yue nodded. "So you..."

Xue interrupted him, saying, "Master is always strict with people. What kind of punishment do you think I will suffer when I go back this time?"

Hua stepped forward and shook her head, saying, "No! Master isn't that kind of person!"

"He has changed. You just need to explain to him properly, and he will forgive you."

Xue gave a bitter, helpless smile. "What's there to explain?"

"Explain that I fell in love with him, and that I didn't save Su Yuexing because I was jealous of her."

Hua and Yue were speechless for a moment.

Xue closed her eyes in despair and swiftly thrust the sword in her hand into her abdomen.

"Xue!" Hua and Yue rushed forward and hugged her. "Xue! How could you be so silly!" Yue cried out.

Xue gave a bitter smile. "Please ask the two sisters to go back and tell our master that Xue has not betrayed him."

"Xue just didn't complete the task he gave her, and she shouldn't tell him that I... I like him." After saying that, her eyes gradually lost focus, and the voices of Yue and Hua in her ears gradually became blurred.

"Snow!" Hana and Tsuki cried out in anguish.

Hua felt a sharp pain in her heart. The four of them had trained together since childhood, and as bodyguards, they could only work in the shadows.

Even without family or friends, they would confide in each other if something was on their mind.

After more than a decade of companionship, we have long since placed each other in our hearts.

The two buried the snow in the mound, their faces showing only pain and helplessness.

Looking up at the rising sun in the east, Xue couldn't help but fall for her master.

However, their master's temperament has always been unpredictable.

"How should we explain this to our master when we get back?" Yue asked.

Hua sighed and said, "Feng betrayed his master and was kicked out by him."

"And Hua fell in love with Master, and left us because of Su Yuexing. Now there are only the two of us by Master's side."

Hua continued, "I think Master is planning something big right now."

"He certainly has a lot of people helping him."

Hua lowered her eyes and said, "Tell the truth to Master."

"No matter what it is, we should not hide it from our master."

Yue frowned and said, "Have you considered Xue's feelings? The reason she committed suicide was that she didn't want Master to know her feelings for Master!"

Hua asked in distress, "Then what should we do?"

"How are we supposed to explain Xue's passing to our master?!"

Yue was silent for a moment, then said, "Tell me half of it." After saying that, she turned and left.

Hua followed behind him with a puzzled look and asked, "What do you mean by 'saying only half'?"

Yue stopped walking, still worried, and turned around, saying, "When we get back to see Master, I'll explain everything."

"Don't say anything."

Hua pressed on, "You've come up with a plan? What is it?"

"Tell me about it quickly."

Yue replied, "You'll find out then."

In the dream, Hua and Yue returned and knelt on the ground.

Li Jinghe turned his back to them and looked out the window at the scenery. "Where are they?"

Yue respectfully said, "Xue is dead."

Upon hearing this, Li Jinghe's pupils contracted, and he turned around, saying, "Tell me in detail."

Hua Xiaoxiao glanced at Yue's expression and saw that she was calm and said, "Because she failed to protect the lady."

"She was captured by bandits, and Xue felt guilty all the time, so she committed suicide."

After listening, Li Jinghe narrowed his eyes and continued, "Could it be that those militiamen are more skilled in martial arts than you?"

Yue's back was covered in cold sweat, but she remained calm and said, "Although those militiamen are not very skilled, there are many of them."

"In the end, Xue lost because she was outnumbered." After saying this, Yue lowered her eyes, not daring to meet Li Jinghe's gaze.

She was afraid that he would see through her lie in the next second.

Li Jinghe slowly closed his eyes and asked, "Where is her body?"

Yue understood that her master believed her words, and she couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

“We have buried her in a very nice place where no one will disturb her.”

“If Master wants to go…” Before she could finish speaking, Li Jinghe interrupted her, “Take me to see her.”
