After obtaining the target characteristics, Tuji did not linger and immediately led his troops to set off.
In the dark of night, they walked more than ten kilometers to the suburbs of Belgo. As Yu Benhua said, the environment here was more complex and no longer the desolate scene that Tuji and his team had experienced all the way through.
This is the edge of the city, with buildings and people.
Although it was late at night and there were only a few places with light sources such as street lamps, Daxiong loved drinking, so who knew if a drunk would pop up from somewhere?
So the experienced Tuji led the team personally. He ordered the team members who were best at infiltration to lead the way in front, and only after ensuring safety did the whole team follow up, and he also left someone to cover the rear in case of emergencies.
Tuji knew very well that the more urgent it was, the slower he could move, and the most important thing was to be careful and make sure not to be discovered.
It took Tuji's troops more than thirty minutes to reach the last section of the road.
The good news is that the area near the building where the laboratory is located is relatively empty and there are no residents. There is only a police station a few dozen meters further north.
This police station was the only place that Tuji thought he needed to be vigilant about, so before entering the laboratory, Tuji left one-third of his men outside to guard.
We entered the building where the laboratory was located and searched it, finding it empty.
"Boss, this mission is too easy." One of Tuji's men said after checking, "I don't understand why you have to be so careful. There's no one here. We can just take the things and leave. What's there to be nervous about?"
Since it was about promotion, Tuji, like Bodin, emphasized the issue again and again during the mobilization, which caused a lot of tension within the team.
At this point, the team realized that the task didn't seem difficult and they relaxed.
This relaxation is subconscious, and most people have no way to control it or even realize it.
Tuji was one of the few people who warned, "Don't relax, keep going, we don't have much time. Be careful when opening the basement. Although the information they provided said that there is no one in the basement, you still have to be careful."
"Okay, boss!" The two team members who knew how to open the basement agreed and went to open the door.
The entrance to the basement is very hidden. If Tuji hadn't known how to open it from You Benhua in advance, he might have had to spend time looking for it.
But now, after the two team members agreed, it only took more than a minute to open the door.
Then Tuji sent his team down to search the entire laboratory.
A few minutes later, Tuji got feedback and there was no one in the basement.
This time, Tuji relaxed subconsciously. He seemed to have seen the rank of major general waving at him.
"This mission is so easy..." Tuji suppressed his joy and personally led the team down to the basement.
Of course, he did not forget to keep some people there.
Go into the basement and turn on the light.
Tuji didn't waste time looking at anything else. He followed the instructions and went straight to the target - the freezer and the information.
He arranged some team members to process the information as required, including both electronic and paper versions. He even checked the information against the corresponding records after getting it, and only felt relieved after confirming that it was correct.
"I admit, this is an easy task!" Halfway through, Tuji let go, "Open the safe immediately, get the last task item and retreat."
He didn't know what the mission item was, but he just followed the instructions and found a box that often appeared in science fiction movies and opened it. There was a good protective layer inside the box to ensure that the things put in would not be bumped or hit.
The team members used the password to open the safe, and a puff of cold air came out of the safe. Under the light, there was no equipment in the safe that automatically popped out like in science fiction movies. Only a few glass bottles could be seen.
(Note: Because I don’t understand, this is purely imaginative, and I used the movie “Resident Evil” to fill in the blanks myself, thank you.)
"Boss, that's it? It's too easy!" The team member who helped open the door easily brought out the shelf tray with glass jars, "Five tubes, our mission is accomplished."
"Be careful!" Tuji reminded in a good mood. Looking back, he saw that there was only room for three tubes in the box. "Hey Andre, go get another box."
I took another box and opened it. There were six compartments and five pipes could be put in it. One more would be fine.
The last step is to place the tube.
An accident occurred. The operating team member accidentally bumped into the box, and a pipe fell to the ground and broke with a snap.
The pipe broke, and Tuji's heart broke with it: "You idiot, you can't even do such a small thing, I'll shoot you to death..."
"Boss, it's okay!" The team member who made the mistake was quick-witted and immediately thought of a solution. "The other party didn't say the number. There are five but one less. We still have four. We can still complete the task."
"Huh...hahaha!" Tuji laughed, "You are very smart, that's true."
The major general that was about to be in my hands was almost ruined. Tuji was being inconsistent and just now he called him a fool.
Continue placing the tubes. There are four tubes, just enough to put two in each box, which creates beautiful symmetry.
Put the pipes away, lock the box, and retreat!
People are in high spirits when good things happen, but they don’t realize that the broken pipe actually opened Pandora’s box.
Out of the basement, out of the building, everything went smoothly.
Tuji ordered two team members, each carrying a box, to return along the same route.
Perhaps all their luck had run out when they came here. Just as they came out and left the building not far away, a team of police cars suddenly came over with flashing lights at an extremely fast speed.
Without Tuji's orders, all the team members found places to hide.
However, with so many cars, lights and people, an accident still happened. A policeman in a police car had sharp eyes and noticed something unusual when the car lights flashed, so he turned around.
