"Hmph, what are you thinking about? How come two grown men are left alone?" Jia Zhang rolled her eyes in dissatisfaction.
Qin Huairu didn't want to pay attention to her and cooked in silence.
She had no choice but to keep muttering to herself. She herself would not go anyway. No one would want to bother with an old woman like her.
When the three Banggeng siblings saw that Qin Huairu was unwilling to go, they were disappointed and could only sniff the fragrance in the air.
After preparing and stewing the chicken, He Yuzhu ran to the cellar. Not long after, he came back with a grim look on his face.

He Yuzhu smiled bitterly, "Be content, this is the best one I found after searching the cellar for a long time. All my cabbages have gone."
"The cabbage heart is gone? Who are you trying to fool?" Li Qinghe frowned, then thought of something.

He Yuzhu's expression changed. He didn't say anything, but shook his head with a wry smile.
