Qin Huairu stared at Lin Yang with her mouth agape, her eyes wide with disbelief.
She couldn't understand this hobby at all; in her opinion, it would be better to find a virgin.
Seeing Qin Huairu's expression, Lin Yang seemed to know what she was thinking, and said with a smile, "Of course, you should drive a rental car! You don't need to break it in, you can floor the gas pedal without worrying about breaking it, and it might even have cruise control! It's perfect for novice drivers!"
"This...this..." Qin Huairu blushed and didn't know what to say.
He could only mutter, "Yangzi, we've all been fooled by you. You're not an honest person at all. I don't think even Xu Damao has as many tricks up his sleeve as you."

She was right.
After Qin Huairu left, Jia Zhangshi immediately got up from the kang (a heated brick bed), pressed her ear against the door of the second bedroom, and listened carefully to the sounds coming from Lin Yang's room.
Unfortunately, because the house was too big, and with the crackling of the firewood inside the kang (heated brick bed) and the howling wind outside, Jia Zhangshi couldn't hear anything at all.
All that could be heard was Lin Yang and Qin Huairu talking, but the specifics of their conversation were unclear.
"What are you afraid of? Even if she knows what we're doing, would she dare to barge in?" Lin Yang shrugged, then stopped making things difficult for Qin Huairu and instead shoved the steamed bun in his hand into her mouth with a smile.
Then he picked her up and carried her to the heated kang (a traditional Chinese bed-stove) in the distance.
