In the dimly lit stairwell, eyes met in silence. Neither knew who was the captured prey.

"Xi Ai, play a scene with me, won't you?"

New Year's Eve, snow fell in the waterside town. Chu Yiqi embraced a handful of fresh snow and said, "Let's break up, okay?"

After a long silence, a reply finally came: "Happy New Year."

After their breakup, they both became reckless. One went abroad, nearly killing herself in a car race during a heavy rainstorm.

The other went deep-sea diving, only to surface at the last moment before suffocating. "I said it before: neither of us is normal."

At that moment, time and space converged, and Xi Ai still left the banquet without hesitation. She met Chu Yiqi in the snow. The umbrella handle tilted: "Let's go, let's go back together."
