"Fu Yunzhi?" Garcia's eyes narrowed, a sly glint flashing across them. "I'm well aware of this marshal's name. However, her intelligence isn't cheap."
"Money is not a problem." Fu Yunzhi said coldly, "As long as the information you provide is valuable."
"Hehe, that's great!" Garcia rubbed his hands. "But this matter... is a bit complicated. There have been so many rumors about Marshal Fu Yunzhi recently, true and false, real and fake, it's hard to tell."
Fu Yunzhi sneered in his heart. This guy really started to pretend.
She said calmly, "It's okay. Tell me everything you know and I will make my own judgment."
Garcia sighed pretentiously and began to talk incessantly.
He said that Marshal Fu Yunzhi abused his power and excluded dissidents; then he said that she embezzled military funds and enriched herself; he also said that her private life was chaotic and she had affairs with multiple men... In short, he said the most unpleasant things.
Fu Yunzhi listened quietly, becoming more and more certain that there was definitely something wrong with this guy!
What he said was either an unfounded rumor or old news that had been clarified long ago and had no value at all!
"Garcia, do you think I'm easy to fool?" Fu Yunzhi suddenly interrupted him with a cold tone.
Garcia's expression changed slightly, but he quickly returned to normal. He chuckled twice, "Miss, what do you mean? I, Garcia, have been in the black market for so many years, relying on the word 'honesty'! How could I lie to you?"
"Really?" Fu Yunzhi sneered, "Then tell me, where did you hear all this news?"
Garcia's eyes flickered and he stammered, unable to speak.
