Chapter 15 Underground Garage 2

Whether single women should have it or not is unknown, but it's a scarce resource in the apocalypse. It can store water, prevent wound infection, and has other uses, so you must get it!

This little car had quite a lot of stock. In the trunk, we found two cartons of cigarettes, two cases of Moutai, two boxes of tea, and two boxes of bird's nest. It was probably intended as a gift, but we don't know who it was for. In any case, it ended up benefiting Xu Lin.

Next to the little guy was a Hummer, a real apocalypse vehicle. It seems the rich only associate with the rich, and luxury cars only associate with other luxury cars.

Perhaps the car owner was confident enough that his vehicle was not afraid of the heavy rain, so he did not drive it away.

Xu Lin simply stopped rummaging around and put the whole car into her storage space, thinking she might need it later.

The next car was a BYD, which was out of gas, but Xu Lin found 3,000 yuan in cash and a wallet in the passenger's bag. The wallet also contained an ID card and belonged to a 30-year-old woman. Xu Lin casually took the cash and the ID card.

Xu Lin found a box of unopened sanitary napkins and two boxes of tissues in the trunk. They must have just been picked up from a package and hadn't been opened yet. She accepted them with a smile.

Next up was a Toyota Camry with a half-full tank of gas, 20,000 yuan in cash in the glove compartment, and two cases of bottled water in the trunk.

Xu Lin packed up the equipment one vehicle at a time, and finally found a complete set of camping gear in the trunk of an SUV: a portable gas stove, tent, sleeping mat, alcohol blocks, charcoal, picnic cart, bottled water, and various snacks. It must have been preparing for a camping trip, but the typhoon delayed its plans.

Three hours later, the water level had risen to thigh-high, and many lightweight cars were floating.

Xu Lin finally finished collecting the supplies: 12 barrels of gasoline, a Wuling minivan, a Hummer, and some other materials.

Xu Lin threw whatever she found into her storage space without even checking it. It wasn't until she climbed onto the roof of an SUV to rest that she remembered she had taken out tissues, facial tissues, and sanitary napkins from her storage space before leaving that she had a little room for gasoline. How could she possibly fit two cars inside?

Turning off her powerful flashlight and headlamp, Xu Lin chewed on a rice ball while letting her consciousness explore the space. Having learned from her previous experience, she was able to remain calm despite being shocked by the changes in the space.

The Hummer and Wuling that were brought in are parked in the yard, which is now about 500 square meters. It wouldn't be a problem to park ten more cars.

The first-floor apartment is now clearly visible, with a double security door leading to an entryway and a 20-square-meter living room. In the center of the living room is a display screen that shows a 60-minute countdown.

"What the heck is this 60-minute period? Could it be...?"

Silently repeating "enter," Xu Lin watched as she appeared in the living room of the space. Her eyes widened; she could enter now. The display screen must be the countdown for her entry into the space.

The first floor also has a kitchen, a bathroom, and two bedrooms, but none of them are accessible; they probably need further upgrades. Regardless, Xu Lin is already quite content to be able to enter the space. Imagine, if danger comes in the future, and we can't fight back or run away, we can hide in the space—a lifesaver!

The vegetable garden outside the house is about 10 acres. I used to think it was packed with things, but now it's just the tip of the iceberg.

Xu Lin emerged from the space, where a countdown of 58 minutes was displayed on the screen. It was unclear whether this time was accumulated or reset daily.

After finishing her rice ball, Xu Lin returned the way she came. The floodwaters in Xingfu Community were already quite deep, and the security guards at the gatehouse had also left. Xu Lin took out a rubber boat and paddled towards Jinxiu Garden.

After gliding across a street, the water level gradually receded, so Xu Lin packed up the rubber boat and started walking.

At 2 a.m., Xu Lin returned home, took a hot bath, and went to bed.
