Chapter 38 Port 5 Organizing Space

The saplings and seeds were placed together, and as the boxes were opened, the next few boxes were filled with natural resources such as oil, diesel, gasoline, and coal.

Both of them were very happy. These were hard currency in the apocalypse. Although they weren't essential for survival like food, they could make life better with them.

At six o'clock in the evening, the two prepared to go home. They put the two little ones in their backpacks and drove two and a half hours back to Jinxiu Residential Area. They turned off the headlights and engine and slowly paddled towards their apartment building.

As they entered the apartment building, Zhou Pin carried his jet ski, while Xu Lin slung a backpack over her shoulder. The people living near the stairwell glanced at them but then went back to sleep.

Xu Lin gave Zhou Pin a boxed lunch she had packed earlier, a bag of dog food, and cat litter to take home and rest.

After washing up and lying in bed, Xu Lin found her dog sleeping in its luxurious doghouse. She pondered her future plans. It was already October, the rain had stopped, and the next couple of days would likely see extreme cold. She needed to bring out her heater, thermal underwear, down jackets, and goose down coats and keep them close at hand. The temperature was expected to drop by more than thirty degrees overnight, something most people couldn't withstand.

As consciousness entered the space, it expanded considerably. The vegetable garden outside stretched as far as the eye could see, and the yard had now become a manor with four warehouses. The house was castle-style, with the first floor now about 500 square meters. The living room had a ceiling height of four or five meters, and the kitchen and bathroom were also accessible. There were two rows of rooms like those in a guesthouse, plus a storage room of about 80 square meters.

The second floor is approximately 380 square meters, with a small reception area, two suites, a home theater with storage, a gym with a small storage unit, and a terrace of about 50 square meters. The third floor is the same size as the second floor, with one suite, a large study, a bar, and two rows of rooms. The floors above haven't been developed yet.

The space has been upgraded again, and the supplies can be reorganized. Xu Lin likes to organize supplies, and she feels a strong sense of happiness when she sees supplies that she can't finish eating or using and that are neatly arranged.

First, put the steel bars, cement, bricks, and timber into one of the warehouses in the yard. Then, put the tiles, glass, and wallpaper into the second warehouse. Put the gasoline and diesel fuel into the third, largest warehouse, and put the seeds and seedlings into the fourth warehouse.

All the necessary appliances were installed in the house, and the extras were put in the storage room on the first floor. The boxed meals packed before the apocalypse were stored in two separate rooms. Fortunately, the space was controlled by consciousness and could be piled up to the roof, otherwise, it would probably have taken using all the rooms on the first floor to store so many things.

Xu Lin would collect office supplies wherever she went, and she stored these in two rooms on the first floor. Kitchenware, rice, oil, salt, and other necessities filled all the other rooms on the first floor.

The second floor has two rooms for books, two rooms for medicine, and two rooms for bedding and clothes.

Seeing the cigarettes and alcohol reminded me that the house in the space had two underground floors. I put all the luxury goods, cigarettes, alcohol, candy, and tea on the first basement floor, and all the food on the second basement floor.

The various vehicles received, including bicycles, mountain bikes, electric bikes, vans, off-road vehicles, and RVs, totaling over a hundred, are stored in the garage in the yard.

Xu Lin was initially worried about what to do with all the cars. She couldn't just leave them all outside the house; the outside isn't a place for preservation, and what if the cars depreciated? She thought she would put as many as she could in the garage, and if there wasn't enough space, she would have to pile them up in the yard or outside the house.

But a miracle happened. No matter how many cars were put into the garage, they could all fit. This was such a pleasant surprise. Xu Lin suddenly thought, if the garage is like this, what about the other rooms? If the rooms are like this too, then each room can store a different type of item.
