Chapter 51 Dragon Bay 2

Standing at the highest point and looking down, the scene is particularly desolate. The once bustling port city is now frozen solid. Humans are so weak in the face of nature. A civilization created over decades or centuries can be destroyed by a natural disaster.

"Let's go," Zhou Pin said.

The most prestigious building in Yulong Bay is a European-style castle covering more than ten acres. This is a prime piece of land reserved for himself by the richest man in the port city and the owner of Yulong Bay. It looks magnificent from the outside. The two first went to the garage, which was filled with sports cars, minivans, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.

There was also a repair shop in the garage, filled with car repair tools and gasoline. With a wave of Xu Lin's hand, the warehouse was completely empty, not even a screw remained.

The two opened the door and went downstairs. Xu Lin was immediately attracted by the crystal chandelier in the living room. It could be installed in the living room of the Space Castle. She waved her hand.

Below the crystal chandelier is a set of designer sofas, clearly custom-made. Next to the sofas is a fireplace, which should have an automatic sensor function, but it's not powered on right now, so it can't sense anything.

The rug under the coffee table looked expensive, and Xu Lin didn't want to get it dirty, so she put the sofa, coffee table, rug, and fireplace inside the space so she wouldn't have to worry about them getting damaged.

"Xu Lin, come here for a second," Zhou Pin called from the kitchen.

"They're here!"

Xu Lin arrived at the kitchen and saw that the 30-square-meter kitchen was divided into Chinese and Western kitchens by the island, both of which were well-organized. Zhou Pin was standing by the door on the other side of the kitchen. Xu Lin walked over and looked inside. Good heavens, it was a small cold storage room with its own generator. It probably ran out of fuel and lost power after the extreme cold. The things inside had not spoiled. The current room temperature could keep them in optimal condition.

Xu Lin packed most of the items into the space, leaving a small portion as "spoils of war" for this operation. Of course, she didn't leave behind anything she could take from the kitchen.

After leaving the kitchen, I went to the storage room on the first floor, where there were refills of household items. Everything from soap and tissues to brooms and mops was taken away.

Inside the storage room was a staircase leading to the underground. The two turned on their flashlights and went down the stairs to a temperature-controlled wine cellar. Despite the low temperature outside, the wine inside hadn't frozen. They wondered what kind of technology was used to create this wine cellar.

After finishing the wine cellar, I went up another staircase to another hall, which seemed to be a lounge area with beverage racks, a bar, sofas, etc. The drinks on the racks were all cracked from freezing, so I picked out a few that weren't cracked as my spoils and continued on my way.

The front door leads to a garden and a glass conservatory. The flowers and plants inside have long since frozen to death, but you can still see how beautiful and vibrant they used to be.

Although the flowers had frozen to death, the potting soil and planting pots were still usable, and adhering to the principle of not wasting anything, Xu Lin did not let them go.

Back inside, there was a gym on the first floor. Xu Lin thought to herself, "Wow, the life of the rich!" as she packed up all the equipment. From now on, all of this equipment would belong to Xu Lin.

After packing everything upstairs, the two went up to the second floor. It was clear that this family was wealthy; they hadn't taken any clothes with them when they left, only their valuable jewelry. So Xu Lin packed up all the four-piece bedding sets from every room, along with various shoes, bags, and even the curtains—there was plenty of space.

Xu Lin used to refuse to accept clothes, as she disliked wearing other people's worn clothes. Now, she has changed her mind. She believes that if she doesn't wear them, she can exchange them for supplies, making the most of them.
