The water was quite deep, and the two of them couldn't dive to the bottom. Half an hour later, they returned to the boat to rest and took the opportunity to haul in the net, storing all the fish in their spatial storage.
The fish stored in the space were placed in a separate location; they couldn't be put in the small sea, otherwise they would have to be scooped out again.
Since they are deep-sea fish, it doesn't matter if they are dead when they are transported back; it would be suspicious if they were live.
Other fishing boats are limited by their size and can only bring back one boatload of fish per voyage, but Xu Lin and Zhou Pin are different. They can bring back as many fish as they want, so the two of them can catch as many fish as possible and then take them out directly from their spatial storage space later.
The two took turns resting throughout the night, constantly casting and hauling in their nets until 3 a.m. They went to the market and bought some shallow-water fish for sale; it was a very successful trip.
On the way back, we didn't encounter any obstacles and arrived back at the base smoothly at seven in the morning.
Wang Jing has arrived. She and Li Jingjing have agreed to work the morning and evening shifts, taking turns resting at noon. Today is Wang Jing's morning shift. After unloading the goods, the three of them started packing the seafood they had purchased in bulk.
Li Jingjing had already prepared the group purchase list the night before. Xu Lin took the list and thought, "Goodness, thank goodness there's space, otherwise a boatload of fish wouldn't be enough to sell."
"Today's fish are plentiful, big, and fresh!" Wang Jing said while packing the fish.
Xu Lin thought to herself: How could it not be a lot? This is enough for three ships! How could it not be a lot? These are deep-sea fish! How could they not be fresh? We'll put them directly into our spatial storage as soon as we catch them, and only take them out before we reach the base!
As the group was tidying up, Li Jingjing arrived. With her joining in, the speed increased instantly. By 8:30, some group-buying customers had already come to pick up their goods. Wang Jingjing was in charge of receiving them, while the other three continued packing.
By 9 a.m., everything was packed up, and there were still dozens of kilograms left, which were put into the freezer for retail.
This time, in addition to deep-sea fish and shallow-water fish, there were also many dried goods. Since Xu Lin and Zhou Pin went to the Jinshi trading market to buy goods last time, many people have brought their own stock to try their luck. This time, Xu Lin bought them all back. Dried goods don't spoil easily, and if they can't be sold, they can keep them for themselves.
Looking at the shelves and warehouse piled high with goods, the four of them felt very fulfilled.
After Xu Lin and Zhou Pin finished organizing the group purchase, they went back to catch up on sleep. This business was really profitable, but it was also really tiring. Fortunately, they had a space, which saved them a lot of energy. The two of them were also quite exhausted.
I ate a quick bite when I got home and then lay down to sleep, not waking up until evening.
“We still need to hire more people; this is too much of a hassle,” Xu Lin said, rubbing her shoulders.
"This batch of seafood is enough to sell several times. After we sell this batch, we've arranged with the people at Jinshi Market to go there every three days to collect shallow-water fish and dried goods. For deep-sea seafood, the two of us will go there every ten days or so to do group purchases."
"That works too. I can't exhaust myself just to deal with this little bit of seafood."
Zheng Ming: @Zhou Pin @Xu Lin
While they were eating, Zheng Ming tagged Zhou Pin and Xu Lin in the group chat.
Zhou Pin: ?
Zheng Ming: I have some good news to tell you all, I'm so excited, I'll say it via video.
A moment later, Zheng Ming called, and Zhou Pin answered.
"Look what this is!" Zheng Ming waved a piece of paper excitedly at Zhou Pin on the other end of the video call.
“Pass,” Zhou Pin said.
"Guess where this pass is from?"
"It can't be Hong Kong, can it?" Xu Lin said from behind.
"Of course not! Guess again," Zheng Ming said proudly.
"Then I won't guess," Xu Lin said.
