"I do have a solution, but what are your thoughts?" Gu Changqing said with a faint smile and a calm expression.
Gu Changqing had plenty of ways to deal with people; he was just a gambler, and Gu Changqing had plenty of ways to handle him.
"What method? I'd like to hear the details," the master asked with great curiosity.
"Let him become my apprentice. If he doesn't obey, I have my own ways to punish him! But there's one thing you absolutely mustn't interfere with. Hand him over to me, and I'll naturally find a way to subdue him so he won't dare to gamble again." Gu Changqing smiled slightly and said directly.

The leader of the men in black was furious upon hearing Gu Changqing's words. His anger was burning, and he spoke with a stern face.
"What do you mean, one million spirit stones? You're asking for way too much. Is his life even worth that much money?" The chef standing to the side curled his lip and said with a serious face.
“One million spirit stones isn’t much. It’s just a piece of cake for me. I don’t even care about it. But I don’t intend to give it to you. I advise you to give up on that idea. Besides, you want my life, do you? Fine, let’s see if you have the ability. If you have the ability, come at me. I won’t say a word.” Gu Changqing snorted coldly and said with a stern face.
In Gu Changqing's eyes, these four men in black were nothing but clowns and trash. The highest cultivation level among them was only at the peak of the Quasi-Saint realm, which he didn't take seriously at all. The others were even lower. Gu Changqing was not angry when he heard his words. Instead, he smiled and said, "I am not a chicken or a dog. Why should I listen to you? Besides, what power do you have to make me listen to you? Of course I will not do as you wish."
Gu Changqing's words struck at his heart like a sharp blade. The black-clad man at the head of the group turned grim and flew into a rage, gesturing wildly at Gu Changqing and cursing, "You, you, you, who do you think you are? How dare you spout nonsense in front of me? You really don't know your place. Don't blame me for being ruthless. Today, I'll use my treasured sword to chop you into eight pieces and feed you to the dogs."

With a deafening roar, the black-clad man shattered space with his blade, causing layers of space to crumble and explode with dark cracks. His cultivation level erupted in full force, making him terrifyingly powerful.
Seeing this, Gu Changqing sneered, then waved his hand and grabbed the other party's broadsword in the blink of an eye. With a "bang", the heavy blade gleamed coldly and was extremely sharp.

The man in black was shocked to see that his terrifying strike hadn't even cut off a single finger of his opponent, and had been blocked by that finger. He was so shocked that he even doubted his eyes and rubbed them, but the result was the same.
