He looked coldly at Wang Jiefang and Zheng Lili.
Su Yu's voice was not loud, but it was chilling.
Wang Jiefang and Zheng Lili were startled by the sudden sound and quickly separated.
A trace of embarrassment flashed across Wang Jiefang's face.
He quickly regained his composure and said, "Su Yu, we are just having a normal chat, don't misunderstand."
"A normal chat?" Su Yu sneered. "Defaming others behind their backs is what you call a normal chat? What I, Su Yu, do is aboveboard. I don't need you to make groundless speculations and slander me."
Zheng Lili bit her lip and retorted, "Su Yu, don't be too proud. It's just saving a big boss, what's so great about that? Do you think you can walk around the factory like that?"
"I've never considered myself great, nor have I ever thought of being a boss around the factory." Su Yu looked at Zheng Lili with a determined gaze. "But I can't stand people like you who talk behind my back. If you have the time, you should reflect on why you were suspended and write a self-criticism."
Zheng Lili's face turned red and white after hearing what Su Yu said. She was about to refute but was stopped by Wang Jiefang.
Wang Jiefang looked at Su Yu and said with a forced smile, "Su Yu, everyone has seen your excellent medical skills, but you should still be low-key. Let's just treat today's incident as a misunderstanding. We're all colleagues, there's no need to make things awkward."
Su Yu felt a little disgusted when he saw Wang Jiefang's hypocritical look.
