The Abyss of Ultimate Power.
The three elderly people climbing the mountain knew exactly what they were doing.
They wanted to go to the top of the mountain to take a look.
Ying Jiu must get close enough to reclaim Xue Jiu's talent.
They had already climbed halfway up the mountain, and were still halfway to Xue Jiu at the summit.
This half of the journey,
The three of them were nearly driven to the brink of collapse.
The further you go, the harder it gets.
Most importantly, they encountered a small problem:
Shadow Nine is no longer viable.
Shadow Nine, covered in blood, lay on Sun Li's back.
When other shadows turn into blood shadows, they fall into a state of mindlessness, knowing only how to fight and kill.
Shadow Nine is different.
After he became Blood Shadow, he was like a cripple, and could only be carried by Sun Li.
It wasn't that Huo Fengzi didn't want to carry it, but that he had a more important task.
Outside the mountain peak, countless demons had gathered at some unknown time!
These demons dared not approach this mountain.
If you tamper with things, they'll still dare to do it.
So, countless snowballs, rocks, and ice blocks were hurled at them!
As they smashed things, they laughed and mocked the people on the mountain.
They want to see climbers fall, break down, and fail...
These attacks are rarely effective due to the great distance involved.
but,
If you get hit, the consequences will be dire.
Sun Li's right calf was hit by a stone, which created a small hole. No blood seeped out because the wound was frozen the moment it appeared.
The three of them trudged on under such conditions.
"Take Lao Jiu and go first!"
Huo Fengzi punched a piece of hailstone, sending it flying; his knuckles were blood red, and his long hair was disheveled.
He walked behind Sun Li, shielding Sun Li and Ying Jiu from the incoming attacks.
However, the closer he got to the summit, the less effective his talent became, and the harder it was to persevere!
In Huo Fengzi's arms, a chess piece named "King Huo" emitted a soft light, slowly healing his injuries.
If it weren't for this chess piece, Huo Fengzi would have fallen long ago!
Sun Li also wanted to continue moving forward.
The problem was that his feet were completely numb, frozen to the ice and snow, and he couldn't move an inch.
Whether he moves forward or backward, he has no chance.
"Don't...don't move..."
"I am on the verge of death," Ying Jiu said weakly.
"Stop..."
He also had a chess piece in his arms, but it was useless and couldn't block the side effects of the Blood Shadow.
Huo Tianwang continued to hurl insults while delivering his own attacks.
"Ninth Brother, you're a fucking piece of trash, aren't you?!"
Logically speaking, Ying Jiu should at least say a few words of criticism.
Ying Jiu ignored Huo Fengzi's insults.
"Too...sun..."
The setting sun cast long shadows on the mountain peaks.
Sun Li had clearly noticed the shadow and guessed what Ying Jiu was planning to do.
He sighed and said helplessly.
"It's too late..."
The sun is moving too slowly; it will take several more hours for the shadow of the man on the mountaintop to set.
Sun Li glanced back and thought, "Crazy Huo, he probably won't last much longer."
Sun Li fared even worse; half of his body had been turned into an ice sculpture.
"It's all my fault."
Sun Li sighed and said helplessly.
"I'm so unlucky."
"What nonsense are you talking about..."
Ying Jiu, clinging to Sun Li's back
"Without you, I would have died here too..."
Some stubborn people only speak the truth when they are on their deathbed.
Just as he was feeling dejected, Sun Li suddenly saw something and thought he was seeing things!
The shadow is moving!
Sun Li raised his head, ignoring the glare of the sun, and stared straight at it.
He witnessed a scene he would never forget: a colossal demon god, bound in chains, struggling to move forward, each step requiring all his strength!
Black flames swirl around the chains—the power of the primordial source!
And at the other end of the chains is the sun of the supreme abyss!
What is He doing?!
That demon god didn't hesitate to burn his own abyssal essence, didn't hesitate to sacrifice everything, didn't hesitate to endure the scorching sun... just to... move the sun a little distance?!
Once Sun Li came to his senses, he immediately realized that he should do something!
He looked in the direction of the shadow, took a deep breath, and silently recited...
"Three, two, one, go!"
Sun Li used all his strength to throw Ying Jiu forward a distance on his back!
The shadow was very light.
Blood Shadow's Shadow Nine is even lighter.
This throw was the final relay.
The sun in the sky is moving, and Shadow Nine is drifting...
final,
Shadow Nine fell into the shadows!
In just a fleeting moment, Shadow Nine vanished, completely merging into the shadows!
A touch of black banished all the crimson.
Immediately afterwards, a middle-aged swordsman slowly rose from the shadows.
Ying Jiu stood up.
Having regained some of his talent, Ying Jiu closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and enjoyed the wonderful feeling of power returning to his body.
He hasn't been this powerful in so many years.
"Can it only be used once...?"
Ying Jiu muttered to himself,
"Once is enough."
"Damn it, stop showing off, I'm dying!"
King Huo, half-buried in snow, cursed and frantically sent signals:
Help me! Help me!
In order to buy time for Ying Jiu, both he and Sun Li were on the verge of exhaustion.
