Ye Bai never expected this.
He came back and actually found his own grave.
Translate this: what the hell does "surprise" mean?
The white dog never expected things to turn out so dramatically.
It was a little confused for a moment.
"Brother, what do we do next?"
Ye Bai rolled his eyes and said with disdain,
"Don't call me brother, I don't have a brother as shameful as you."
After saying that, Ye Bai thought about the question seriously.
Don't panic when something happens, eat something first.
So Ye Bai sat down, skillfully picked up the fried chicken from in front of the grave, and started eating.
White dog: ......
What's this?
I'm eating my offerings?
Before the white dog could speak, an old man strolled over slowly.
When the old man saw what Ye Bai had done, he said indignantly,
"Young man, why are you here stealing food instead of studying anything else!"
Ye Bai corrected the other person very meticulously.
"This stuff was originally meant for me to eat!"
"Still trying to argue? These young people nowadays, really, really..."
The old man was trembling with anger and was about to give Ye Bai a good talking-to.
Suddenly, his body stiffened.
Once the old man got closer, he could clearly see the tombstone.
There is a photo at the very top of the tombstone.
The young man in the photo and the man in front of me look remarkably alike at first glance!
The old man trembled.
"You, you..."
Ye Bai said seriously, "I'm hungry, I've come up here to find something to eat."
The old man rolled his eyes and fell straight backward.
Ye Bai certainly wouldn't let him fall to the ground.
A gentle breeze caught the old man, and a green light shone on him. In the blink of an eye, he regained consciousness.
Ye Bai is, after all, a mage, so it's reasonable that he knows some healing spells, right?
The old man regained consciousness, still shaken.
Ye Bai spoke first.
"I am his twin brother, my name is Ye Hei, I just happened to pass by and come to see my brother."
"You scared the hell out of me! I thought I'd seen a ghost... Young man, is this something to joke about?!"
The old man gave Ye Bai a severe dressing-down, then looked at the tombstone and sighed.
"You haven't come to see your brother all these years!"
Although the tone was stern, it did not contain much accusation.
He just wanted Ye Hei to come and see this young man more often.
After all, it's a real shame to leave at such a young age.
"I couldn't find my way home before."
Ye Bai chuckled awkwardly.
"I only just found out that Ye Bai is dead."
As he spoke, Ye Bai picked up a piece of fried chicken and asked politely,
"Would you like some? Although it's been sitting for a while and the skin is a bit soft, the meat is still hot."
"Get lost! Are you trying to make fun of me?!"
The old man sighed again. He was in charge of looking after the cemetery. When Ye Bai entered the cemetery, he felt that something was not right, so he followed him.
I never expected it to be like this.
After exchanging pleasantries, Ye Bai pressed on,
"Ye Bai and I have been separated for a while now, and I don't know what happened to him..."
"I don't know either."
The old man told the truth.
"I only manage the graves here. How would I know how people got there... with so many people?"
"I apologize for my intrusion."
Ye Bai then asked,
"Excuse me, who put these things here?"
Ye Bai believed that the old man must remember this incident.
"You mean this guy? He was a middle-aged massage therapist, very talkative. He even massaged me twice, and wouldn't accept money..."
The old man realized the conversation had gone off-topic and quickly brought it back.
“He brings his family to visit your brother every year; the whole family drives there.”
family?
Ye Bai frowned.
He was certain that the middle-aged man who came to sweep his grave was not related to him by blood.
Why did they come?
They would also place Ye Bai's favorite fried chicken in front of the grave?
After exchanging a few more words with the old man, he left.
The old man felt a little strange, wondering why he was walking with such a brisk pace and why he felt much lighter.
Ye Bai casually cast a healing spell, curing most of his ailments.
He is healthier now than he was at thirty.
"Brother, what's our next step?"
After the old man had walked away, the white dog asked,
"Go find the middle-aged man who cleaned your grave?"
"No."
Ye Bai sat there, finished his fried chicken, and shared some with the white dog.
Ye Bai removed the vase and looked at his tombstone.
"Smash the grave."
ah?
White dog: ? ? ?
Brother, it can't be that bad!
It really isn't that bad!
"I'm still alive, don't you think it's bad luck to have my grave here?"
Ye Bai's words made a lot of sense, and the white dog didn't know how to refute them for a moment!
Then smash it!
The white dog symbolically rolled up its sleeves, ready to smash Ye Bai's grave to pieces, as a way of venting its anger.
Ye Bai rolled his eyes and casually unleashed a sword strike.
The tomb has been opened.
There's no need to put up any lights, nor is there any need to make any preparations for tomb raiding.
Because Ye Bai was in a cemetery, what was placed there was not a coffin, but an urn.
Looking at the opened tomb chamber, Ye Bai's eyes were icy cold.
"Just as I expected."
The tomb chamber was empty!
"hiss--"
The white dog gasped and said instinctively,
"Brother, your ashes have been stolen!"
"Your ashes were the one who got stolen."
Ye Bai tapped the white dog and said helplessly,
