Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Wang Mao couldn't stop You Mian and could only watch him leave without looking back.

"Brother Tingxuan." Bai Lin put down his knife and fork and gently grasped Yan Tingxuan's sleeve. He looked at the stunned man standing at the empty door before he came to his senses and sat down again.

Yan Tingxuan put on an affectionate smile and raised his hand to ruffle Bai Lin's hair, and said in a relaxed and helpless tone: "Maybe You Mian was scolded by your father again, don't worry about him."

Yan Tingxuan is five years older than You Mian. He entered society a few steps earlier and exudes a mature, steady yet unrestrained temperament. The woody masculine scent falls on his suit shoulders, causing Bai Lin's ears to slightly redden.

"Maybe it's because You Mian doesn't want to participate in the show." Bai Lin wrinkled his nose and inadvertently revealed: "After all, although it's a dating show, it also needs to promote JL. He doesn't paint anymore, and has turned to sculpture. He works with mud and wood every day, which is dirty and messy..."

Yan Tingxuan seemed not to want to talk about You Mian anymore. He just nodded briefly and passed over the topic.

But the last word fell in the restaurant.

Yan Tingxuan raised his eyebrows slightly, smiled nonchalantly, and said, "They are not from the same world to begin with. The You family is being soft-hearted by letting him stay here."

The afternoon sun slanted down on the street, with soft floating clouds interspersed among the tall buildings. When the warm wind blew, the orange-red sky lit up slightly, and the warm colors like splashed ink mixed together, full of vitality.

The wind chimes hanging on the door rang, and the glass door of the barber shop was pushed open.

The barber accidentally let the calico cat on the counter slip away, "Hey!"

After finally catching the little girl rubbing against the customer's trouser leg, the barber looked up and was about to apologize when he suddenly froze.

You Mian half-pushed open the glass door and stood at the entrance of the store. He stood in the orange-yellow color with his back to the light. Even though he was wearing a simple light-colored coat, he couldn't hide his stunning look at that moment.

The boy lowered his head and glanced at the kitten, his cold wrist grasping the door handle. In the wind, only his extremely gentle smile could be heard as he asked, "Can I come in?"

The barber's cheeks turned red, and he squatted on the ground and nodded busily. Just when he was about to stand up, he lost his balance and fell backwards to the ground with a thud.

You Mian was almost frightened. He held the little flower that had rubbed against his trouser leg again with one hand and handed it to the barber who cried out a few times before standing up.

"Are you okay?" You Mian asked softly.

The young man was obviously distracted by the accident. He took the kitten and turned around to put it in the cage. When he looked back, the blush on his face faded slightly.

"No, nothing." The young man pulled out a chair and asked, "What project do you want to do, sir?"

You Mian sat in front of the mirror, looking at the fair-skinned boy inside, and said lightly: "Dye it back to chestnut color."
