Chapter 79 A Pot Falls from the Sky

An Ning's kick successfully ignited a conflict, and the group of thugs who were originally standing behind the leader suddenly became eager to try and make a move.

But the leader suddenly raised his hand and made a gesture to stop him.

“I like this kind of personality even more. It’s good that it’s fiery.” The man clapped his hands as he walked toward An Ning, ignoring the blood spilling from the corner of his mouth.

Seeing his lifeless state, An Ning felt she had been too lenient. This man had no memory whatsoever and was utterly intimidating.

Just as she was about to kick someone again, the person standing next to her suddenly pulled her, causing her to stumble and almost fall.

What's wrong with you?

An Ning didn't care whether someone was one of her own or not; anyone who delayed her from doing her work deserved a slap.

Pulling the person in front of him, Chen Yan finally spoke, "Didn't you say I should show off my skills? I'll do it."

It means he came to beat people up for Anning.

Hearing Chen Yan's explanation, An Ning's expression softened. "If you're telling me not to take action, I will absolutely not let this go."

Although I'm not angry anymore, I still can't lose in terms of momentum.

"Um."

Chen Yan stepped forward a few paces.

Neither he nor Anning noticed that the male student who had just shouted that they were not acting voluntarily had somehow taken out his phone and was on a call with someone.

His response was very brief; aside from some "uh-huh" sounds, he didn't say much, and the call was quickly disconnected.

"Are we just going to stand by and watch? Aren't we going to go and help?" Someone suddenly spoke up next to the boy. His voice was very low, but after receiving a gesturing look to stay put, he gradually suppressed the thought.

Okay, if they don't say anything, he can't be the bad guy.

An Ning stood aside watching the fun, focusing only on the conversation between Chen Yan and that ugly monster.

Chen Yan has a sharp tongue.

This is something Anning only just discovered.

This guy had only been up there a short while when he made the boss's face turn red with anger.

And the words he uttered were not swear words at all; his level was very high, and it's clear that he's the kind of person who doesn't mince words.

"Have you been pickling your mouth for years? It smells so strong!"

"How dare you, with your toad-like appearance, covet other people's things?"

After he finished cursing, he paused for a moment, then said, "Oh, and also, someone who always thinks with their lower body, you're probably a scapegoat from the 'quality education' system, right? That won't do, it's illegal. After I leave, I'll call the police and you can go and explain to them why you didn't finish nine years of schooling."

He didn't immediately go up and fight. Instead, he stood opposite the man and launched a personal attack on him. Only when the man couldn't take it anymore and threw a punch at him did he actually start his attack.

He took a solid punch to the face, but to An Ning's surprise, Chen Yan's mouth didn't bleed.

This man isn't very strong.

An Ning couldn't stand by and watch any longer. Just as the man was about to throw his second punch, she kicked his knee with great force, striking his kneecap directly.

Zhang Dalong immediately knelt down, screams escaping his throat. An Ning quickly grabbed a leaf from the roadside and covered his mouth with it.

Shh, shut up.

"This was for him. That kick you just now was because you harassed me. I didn't provoke you."

An Ning looked at the man's resentful eyes and made an innocent expression, then turned to look at the others behind Zhang Dalong, "Do you want to continue?"

"I don't take the initiative."

Just as Anning was fantasizing about her underlings voluntarily stepping down and acknowledging her as their leader, she heard the sound of police sirens.

The voice was very close to her, and she heard it very clearly.

It did not exceed 500 meters at most.

An Ning blinked, not running away, but simply releasing her hand that was covering Zhang Dalong with the leaves. "Who called the police?"

As she spoke, she looked around and her gaze settled on a boy whose eyes were wandering and who didn't dare to look at her at all.

He was wearing a dark blue school uniform, his head was half-drooping, and his whole face was red.

An Ning stood up straight, crossed her arms, and casually reminded him, "A fight is a joint offense."

"In other words, not only will we be punished, but you will also be punished along with us."

As An Ning spoke, she glanced at the people behind Zhang Dalong, raised her eyebrows slightly, and said nothing more.

For some reason, this large group of people didn't run away when they heard the police cars were coming.

An Ning was speechless at these people. "Why are you standing here? Are you waiting for the police to come and arrest you?"

"But we didn't fight!" a student suddenly spoke up, his voice trembling with excitement.

“Who can prove it? I say you hit me, so you hit me.” An Ning stared directly at the other party, her tone self-righteous. “There are no security cameras here.”

"Yeah, who can prove it? It wasn't like this when you beat us up last time!" Suddenly, someone from the thugs' group turned on their microphones, their tone equally agitated.

"Last time? You have the nerve to mention last time? If you hadn't insisted on blocking our way last time, it would have been just going to an internet cafe. Who says good students can't go to internet cafes?"

The students from Jinghai No.1 Middle School were equally determined.

"Aren't the students from No. 1 Middle School always looking down on us at Fengyang Vocational School? Why are the internet cafes next to Fengyang here again? Don't they know the teachers from No. 1 Middle School won't come here to investigate? You've really figured out how to play both sides!"

These words shocked An Ning.

Are these people from the school also students?

With tattoos, smoking, and red, yellow, and green hair, she thought he was a street thug.

"Who do you think is both in charge and doing the same thing?"

"I'm talking about your Jinghai No. 1 High School!"

The scene suddenly became chaotic. By the time Feng Lin arrived with his men, the situation was already extremely chaotic. Holding a police baton, he shouted sternly, "Stop it, all of you! If you want to beat someone, go to the detention center!"

As soon as these two sentences were shouted, the two groups of people who were originally full of passion immediately stopped. They only came back to their senses when they saw the police.

Who were those sirens meant for? They all heard them, so why were they still fighting?

No one can say for sure.

Perhaps this is the passion of youth, which can be ignited in an instant and extinguished in an instant, like being doused with a bucket of cold water.

Seeing An Ning, whom he had run into again at the scene, Feng Lin stared at her for two seconds before politely asking, "Are you here to fight too?"

An Ning quickly denied it, "Ah, no, I came to watch the show."

But almost the instant she finished speaking, people from both schools shouted in unison, "Her too!"

An Ning: "...I'm not."

Feng Lin gave a forced but insincere smile. "Miss An, please come with us. While you're at it, please take the banner that the Jinghai City Public Security Bureau gave you."
