This was the fourth time Lin Ran had confirmed this with Ji Yan.
Ji Yan's answer was exactly the same as the previous three times: "I am absolutely certain that you did have the badge on you before you went to the Anning tent, but it was gone after you came back."
"Where could it have fallen..." Lin Ran rubbed her temples, muttering to herself.
Looking at Lin Ran like this, Ji Yan casually said, "Maybe An Ning wasn't asleep at all back then? Maybe she double-crossed you?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Ran immediately stood up and hurriedly reached into her pocket, trying to retrieve the two badges she had put there.
But she didn't touch it.

Almost the instant she finished speaking, the broadcast, which had been quiet all night, suddenly rang out. After a few seconds of crackling static, the main point came:
"Xu Jiayi, survival attempt failed!"
This announcement was repeated three times, followed immediately by a new announcement:
"Lin Ran, survival attempt failed!"
Two consecutive eliminations resulted in Ji Yan's team being eliminated, leaving only three members.
