Looking at the card in Feng Xingtai's hand, An Ning was momentarily bewildered.
After a long pause, she blinked. "What do you mean?"
Feng Xingtai smiled faintly and remained silent.
"Are you sure this is your information card?" Anning asked cautiously.
Feng Xingtai stopped standing there and started walking slowly forward. "Is it my information card... I think it's obvious, but I still know whether the director has contacted me or not."
In other words, Feng Xingtai had visited that room before the official recording of the program.
An Ning didn't linger there any longer and followed Feng Xingtai's steps forward. "Did you also see another information card marked in blue with the same content?"
Her tone was firm, and her gaze was piercing, as if she wanted to see right through Feng Xingtai's heart.
Feng Xingtai didn't hide anything, "Yes, otherwise why would I still doubt your identity after seeing your ID card with my own eyes?"
At this moment, Feng Xingtai was completely different from his previous taciturn self. An Ning frowned slightly as she looked at him.
No, the current situation in Xingtai is nothing like the phrase "taciturn and reserved."
He could talk as much as her, so how come he's considered taciturn?
Feng Xingtai probably sensed An Ning's concerns and smiled for the first time. "Don't panic... This is the first time I've talked so much. It's not like this is my personality."
If this were a live broadcast, the fans in Xingtai would be absolutely stunned to see him like this.
Is this really their idol?
When did you become so talkative?
Was it really not a case of being possessed?
An Ning couldn't confirm the truthfulness of Feng Xingtai's words, since the original owner had no memories related to Feng Xingtai.
Let alone meeting in real life, the original owner of this body hadn't paid much attention to Feng Xingtai even online. Even after searching through all her memories, she couldn't find any information about Feng Xingtai's true personality.
In fact, An Ning was inclined to believe that Feng Xingtai had not deceived her. After all, Feng Xingtai was now facing a real infected person, and if he could not persuade An Ning, his life would be in danger.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say they were dancing on the edge of a knife.
"I don't believe you. It's safer to kill you." An Ning revealed a dangerous smile, and the dart on the inside of her wrist was no longer hidden. She held it in her hand and slowly swung it in circles.
They happened to walk behind a bamboo house, which provided cover, so Anning wasn't afraid of being exposed.
Feng Xingtai, who was a step behind An Ning, was standing right next to the edge of the bamboo house wall. When he saw An Ning take out the murder weapon, he raised his eyelids but did not react excessively, as if he had expected it.
An Ning didn't care about his reaction. Seeing that he wasn't leaving, An Ning was even more happy to have some peace and quiet, and slowly started walking towards Feng Xingtai.
The already short distance between the two grew closer and closer as An Ning pressed on, until they were only a step apart before An Ning stopped.
"Do you think I really want to kill you?" Feng Xingtai was so tall that An Ning had to nod slightly to look at him, but even looking up at him couldn't hide her sharp edge.
Because the sharp end of the dart in her hand had already touched Feng Xingtai's body.
It was perfectly positioned, right at the chest.
Once it's stabbed, it'll pierce the heart.
However, An Ning wouldn't actually poke him.
She didn't want to be arrested and taken to the police station while recording the show.
That would really damage her image.
They already had a somewhat shady past, and if they were arrested by the police in front of them, it would be even worse.
Even so, Feng Xingtai remained steadfast in his stance, staring intently at An Ning, his tone so firm it seemed he wanted to tear his heart out on the spot to show An Ning whether he was truly sincere: "I am your teammate."
Each word was spoken with firmness and strength.
An Ning had a strange feeling that she had been confessed to.
She said, "Guess if I like you or not?"
Wind: "Whether you like me or not, I like you."
Anning felt disgusted with herself after imagining this scenario.
nerve.
Before An Ning could question Feng Xingtai again, the man who had been standing there motionless like a rock suddenly took a step back, pressing himself completely against the bamboo wall behind him.
The point of leverage on her hand suddenly disappeared, and An Ning's raised hand instantly dropped, her slipping sleeve barely concealing the dart in her hand.
An Ning only heard footsteps coming from not far away at this moment.
Holy crap, no way, someone's here?
An Ning looked up abruptly, meeting Feng Xingtai's innocent gaze.
And when An Ning looked up at him, he twitched the corner of his lips.
Now Anning was even less likely to believe that this person could be associated with "taciturnity".
"Walk."
She grabbed Feng Xingtai's wrist and pulled him to the other side.
The direction was exactly opposite to the direction from which the footsteps came.
"I'll trust you this time. Go and kill someone for me first, and then I'll believe your identity."
Anning dragged the person to another deserted corner and threatened them in a low voice.
She had thought Feng Xingtai would refuse, but he agreed faster than anything else, without the slightest hesitation, "Okay."
"Whom do you want to kill?" he asked again.
"You have to ask me who I kill?" An Ning raised an eyebrow.
"You choose."
At this moment, Feng Xingtai seemed to have become taciturn, but An Ning was still skeptical. After thinking it over, she finally said a name, "Then let's go with Jiang Yu."
