Chapter 15 Robin Bird, a real bird!
Wen Yue sat down on the ground and nudged Jason, "Don't you know what it means to be a disciple who does what the teacher does? You don't respect your elders and bring me a chair, fine, but why are you taking mine?"
Jason chuckled, resting his chin on his hand as he asked, "Tell me what you've taught me before calling yourself a teacher?"
Wen Yue's eyes lit up instantly, and she rubbed her hands together like a fly. "Okay, but you said I'd teach you something properly tomorrow..." Wayne Group desperately needs a Jason president, and since the player has decided to resign and retire immediately, it's time for Jason to take over the family affairs!
With an irrepressible smirk on her face, Wen Yue leaned back in Jason's chair, patted his thigh casually, and gave him a meaningful look.
Jason shuddered, a bad feeling creeping over him. Intuition told him the other person was definitely up to something.
“It suddenly occurred to me that we’ve never fought each other before, how about we practice?” Jason stood up and interrupted the player’s spellcasting.
What are you training? Are you training the players' courage? What's the point of training someone who can kill me in three punches? Wen Yue lay back down on the ground, feigning weakness. "Ouch, my elbow and lumbar disc are hurting..."
Jason, disappointed, said, "Never mind, just get up!"
"It doesn't hurt at all." The player quickly straightened up, having achieved his goal, and no longer needed to use the process of elimination.
Jason facepalmed; he simply couldn't bear to watch.
Dick sat to the side, dumbfounded by the player's series of smooth and fluid maneuvers.
Not wanting to run around and bother with the chair again, Wen Yue simply pulled out a nearby snack box to use as a seat.
"Wait, is this the snack box from the Batmobile?" Jason suddenly stopped Wen Yue's movements.
Wen Yue stopped abruptly, looking bewildered, and replied, "Yes, what's wrong?"
"Don't sit down yet, let me grab a couple of snacks first." Jason stretched out his long arm, smoothly unlocked the box with his fingerprint, and leaned over to pick out the snacks.
Unexpectedly, after Jason's information was entered into the permissions database, he could even open Wayne's snack box. Players are now completely certain that the Bat family uses the same database.
Wen Yue grabbed Jason's hand as he reached for snacks, chuckled softly, and raised her thick eyebrows slightly, "What are you eating snacks so late at night?"
"?"
Just as Jason was about to expect Bruce Wayne to launch into a health talk, the other man changed the subject, "So let's get some midnight snacks, I've ordered some!"
Jason's eyes lit up.
With the decision finalized, the group left the bat cave by elevator.
On the manor table, even more eye-catching than the late-night snack was a row of spoons. Teaspoons, egg spoons, melon spoons, grapefruit spoons, jam spoons, meat broth spoons... Players, their eyes still blurry, submitted their answers on the game panel.
Wen Yue has recently been studying etiquette. The World Consciousness organization arranged a series of etiquette courses for her, covering four aspects: dining etiquette, speech and behavior, dress etiquette, and work responsibilities. Dining etiquette is a major category, concerning how to treat people, what to wear on different occasions, the placement of tableware, the appreciation of food, the etiquette of afternoon tea, the use of silverware, and so on. Each point has its own rules.
Wen Yue was dizzy from the intricate details. If it weren't for the World Consciousness using game blind boxes to lure players, the players would have already flipped the table and started playing. Currently, Wen Yue has obtained five blind boxes and collected a bunch of DC merchandise that she won't need for the time being: 1 Domino Mask of the Second Robin, 10 Flashbangs, and 10 Robin's Shuriken (Red Robin version).
The game is a real swindler; two out of five blind boxes were empty. The player, a gambling addict, even started asking for extra lessons to open more blind boxes. In the end, the game's world consciousness had to urgently arrange an exam to dampen the player's enthusiasm, and only then did she give up.
Jason looked around, his gaze sweeping over the corners where he could hide.
Noticing Jason's behavior, Wen Yue suspected that an undetected enemy had infiltrated the manor, so she became more vigilant and asked in a low voice, "What are you looking for?"
"Find the invisible housekeeper."
“There’s no housekeeper; these are all takeout orders I placed.” Wen Yue immediately lowered her guard and relaxed her movements.
On the dining table in the lobby, pizzas, vegetable salads, and stewed beef were delivered on time. Each meal consisted of three portions, a balanced mix of meat and vegetables.
This was ordered by Wen Yue when she went to the entrance of the Batcave to retrieve her clone after seeing Jason on the surveillance footage. The Wayne family's orders were handled by designated personnel from the World Consciousness, who arranged for the food to be arranged before leaving the manor.
Before Wen Yue could even start eating, Jason had already grabbed a slice of pizza and devoured it in two bites each. He then proceeded to gulp down the stewed beef, wolfing it down as if he hadn't eaten for several meals.

Players, with the eyes of admiring their child, bring up the panel and collect several more photos of the gluttonous, unpicky eaters showing off their meals. Unbeknownst to them, their behavior has quietly begun to resemble that of Tim in the main universe.
Is this the perk of getting up close and personal with your favorite anime characters? You always manage to collect surprising merchandise unexpectedly.
In Wen Yue's memory, the comics depicted Red Hood eating several times, and most of the time he was frantically consuming high-calorie fast food, such as hamburgers, fries, and fried chicken wings, or sandwiches, spicy hot dogs, and chocolate pies.
Jason's own mobile stall also sells the same three items: sausages, hamburgers, and fries. Even when Wen Yue first transmigrated, she ate the same fast food Jason often ate—spicy hot dogs.
In DC Comics, the only time Jason wasn't eating fast food was when he was eating waffles with Tim. —I wonder if Jason and Tim ever ate together in this world.
What's particularly memorable is that Jason once broke into a federal agent's house and ate all of the agent's cereal—this guy was that hungry.
Jason's unhealthy eating habits are beyond question; he eats whenever he has the chance, completely disregarding what goes into his stomach. He doesn't have regular mealtimes or sleep schedules, and his exercise, diet, and lifestyle are all a mess.
While players remotely control Batman on night patrols from their computers, Red Hood engages in hand-to-hand combat in the darkness, taking down villains one punch at a time. While the world's consciousness handles some Wayne Enterprises work for the player, Red Hood manages gang affairs. It's rare for a player to have both night patrols and daytime work running in tandem, but these are Red Hood's daily routines.
Exercise, diet, and sleep—the key principles for maintaining a good physique—were all ignored. All these factors resulted in Jason being even bigger than Wen Yue; he was definitely over 180 pounds, if not 200, practically a tank of power.
From the moment he came back from the dead, Jason's body swelled up like an inflating balloon, and with the help of an unhealthy diet and lifestyle, his weight increased by pounds.
—What? You're saying Jason never died in this world?
The strand of white hair on his forehead isn't the key to determining whether Jason is dead; his size is. Otherwise, would Jason have grown so much in a year with the League of Assassins just from drinking plain porridge? That's ridiculous.
Jason couldn't possibly be fed lavish meals every day in the League of Assassins: First, the League of Assassins is an assassin organization, not a health and wellness institution; second, Jason went there to learn skills, not to buy supplies; and finally, the League of Assassins is not a charity. If Jason wanted to escape, he would have to complete many difficult tasks for them. He wouldn't be able to leave the League without suffering a great deal, let alone live too comfortably and grow up again.
So Jason's binge eating is not only due to his childhood as a street urchin who never ate anything good, but also because after being adopted by Black Mask, he quickly escaped to the League of Assassins, where he underwent intense training but a bland diet and endured a period of hardship. Ultimately, upon returning to Gotham, he craved fast food. His ability to avoid gaining weight is entirely due to his excessive daily exercise.
"You didn't skip lunch and dinner, did you?" Jason and Wen Yue ate breakfast together.
"I ate a little," Jason said vaguely.
I understand. He's constantly on the go, occasionally grabbing a bite to eat, but his three meals a day are still completely irregular.
Wen Yue gave a kind smile, "From now on, I will supervise your three meals a day. I hope you will eat regularly and have small meals frequently."
Jason, who had finished the entire pizza in three minutes, stared at the pizza in front of Wen Yue with unsatisfied satisfaction, responding absentmindedly.
For players who can complete night patrols with just a few taps on their computers, late-night snacks aren't a necessity. She quietly pushed the untouched pizza and stewed beef over.
Wen Yue's gaze fell on Dick, and she was very pleased to see him eating his midnight snack obediently. Finally, she had a son who was easy to take care of.

Gotham's richest man, Wayne, is fighting for custody of a mob boss who is incarcerated. The outcome is obvious: Black Mask can't cause any trouble; it's just a matter of time. The player receives a notification that the mission is complete that night.
[Mission Completed: Congratulations to the player for establishing a close relationship with Jason Todd]
[Reward received: One red Robin Bird]
[Robin Bird: This is a magical bird that, once bound to its host, shares a life-and-death bond and has an indelible connection with the player.]
The player's eyes lit up—the Robin Bird was a real bird! She was itching to let the reward bird out for a spin.
The three returned to the Bat Cave and put Dick to sleep in the isolation room. The Court of Owls might take control of Dick when they were off guard, so to avoid any accidents, they put him in the isolation room for observation for a few days.
Jason scoffed, "Come on, who would come to your godforsaken bat cave?"
"What if? What if the court infiltrates Wayne Manor or even the Batcave and takes Dick into custody while we're off guard? That wouldn't be a good outcome for either of us. Besides, Dick isn't always in the isolation ward; he just sleeps there at night..." Whether in DC comics or elsewhere, the Batcave under Wayne Manor is like a tourist attraction that anyone can visit, and the security system is practically non-existent under the power of the plot.
"Besides, who said my Batcave is a godforsaken place?" The player received the reward, and a Robin Bird appeared out of nowhere from his blind spot, gracefully flying over and landing on the player's outstretched fingertip. "Your bird's here, Jason."
Jason stared at the bird, wondering where the bird came from. Besides, the color scheme looked rather familiar.
The Sura Honeybee, a bird that feeds on nectar, has a unique appearance. It has a bright red head that extends all the way to its throat, like it's wearing a red hood. Its back and wings are mainly black with some light-colored markings. Now, perched on Wen Yue's finger, it looks around with a lively posture, almost like a bird-like Jason.
"What do you think of calling it Big Red?" Wen Yue suddenly had a flash of inspiration and decided on a name. "Actually, calling it Red Bucket is also fine. Which one do you think is better?"
Jason said in a low voice, "I think I know what you call me behind my back now..."
Wen Yue tried to cover up her misunderstanding, "Don't overthink it. I named it that because it's red... Of course, it is a bird after all, so it needs a name so people know it's a bird. Otherwise, how about Big Red Bird? Red Bucket Bird?"
Jason had already seen through Wen Yue's terrible naming skills. "You racked your brains and this is the only name you came up with?"
"If you can do it, then do it! If you can't, then don't talk nonsense!"
"How about calling her Jessica?"
"Dude, your will-o'-the-wisp will cry if it finds out." So you're even playing the Stand trope now, huh?
After Jason's motorcycle, named Jessica, was blown to pieces, he now gets around on a regular motorcycle, without any modifications or special markings, and it's so worn it looks like a second-hand vehicle. Wen Yue couldn't stand it anymore and had Lucius Fox customize a new motorcycle for him, which will arrive in just a few days.
The two exchanged a silent glance, then simultaneously looked at Dick beside them, asking, "What do you think?"
"It must be because the name I chose is more suitable!" Wen Yue was certain.
“The name Jessica is absolutely perfect!” Jason affirmed.
Dick looked at the two of them, then at the little red bird. "Why don't you ask it?"
The three of them turned their gazes to the little red bird—
