Chapter 32: Players Who Swap Identity Have No Bottlenecks in Their Antics

Chapter 32: Players Who Swap Identity Have No Bottlenecks in Their Antics

The fourth catastrophe arrives, the fifth identity is activated, and Wen Yue and Tim work together from the inside to infiltrate the Batcave of this world as a real player pretending to be Red Robin. She even borrowed a camera from Red Robin, and no one could stop the player from taking photos at famous DC landmarks today.

Inside the Batcave, Batman and Green Arrow both mistook each other for vampires. Green Arrow launched a surprise attack with his holy water arrow, but instead shot a Robin puppet disguised as Batman, thus revealing his position. Batman retaliated with wooden stakes soaked in holy water. Both exchanged blows, landing hits on each other. However, their anti-vampire weapons were ineffective against their opponents, and only at the last moment did they realize they were allies, creating an awkward and tense atmosphere.

On the other end, a player was taking a photo and happened to capture this iconic moment. He couldn't help but channel his inner battlefield photographer, posing and setting up his camera with extreme professionalism. Facing the two players who turned around at the same time, the player calmly said, "You guys continue, just pretend I don't exist."

That's impossible. Faced with the condemning gazes of Batman and Green Arrow, Wen Yue's eyes darted around, her gaze inadvertently drifting to the Robin puppet in the corner, who had been used as a target and pierced through the heart by Green Arrow's arrow.

Wen Yue immediately forgot her earlier guilty conscience, "No, you guys can joke around all you want, but why are you making fun of me?"

The player recalled a joke he had once seen—

Why is Batman's suit black?

Batman: "Just in case I get shot."

"Then why is Robin's uniform so flashy...?"

Batman: "Just in case I get shot."

It's absolutely insane that this joke has become reality. Players give their performance an 8.6 out of 10, since it seems like some players are giving it a 1.4.

“That’s Robin,” Batman reminded him. He had just dressed the Robin puppet in a bat-cloak to disguise himself, in order to lure out Green Arrow, who had secretly infiltrated the Batcave.

Wen Yue patted her stubborn brain and suddenly realized, "Oh right, the current Robin is Damian, and I'm Red Robin. That's alright then." Players always get too caught up in the role without realizing it.

Red Robin served as Robin for a period of time, but was forced to step down not long ago due to the arrival of Batman's son, Damian.

Faced with such an offbeat player, Batman gives him 8.5 points because he has 1.5 words.

The Batcave is incredibly dark, offering players endless possibilities for creative antics. Green Arrow gives it an 8.4 out of 10 because this Red Robin is a true 1.6!

Red Robin's reputation has been damaged.

“We have an undercover agent among us.” Green Arrow and Batman exchanged glances, then focused their attention on Red Robin.

Wen Yue, who was fiddling with the camera with her head down, was taken aback. She opened her innocent blue eyes wide and pointed to herself: "Eh, me?"

The two of them: What time is it? Can you please stop messing with that damn camera?

“…I mean, us superheroes.” Green Arrow removed his mask, wiped the blood from his face with a towel, and explained.

"Oh, ask Batman. Batman knows who it is." Wen Yue shrugged, putting pressure on Batman.

“Your deduction is correct, Quinn. There are indeed heroes who have been turned into vampires.” Batman also took off his helmet and patted Green Arrow on the shoulder reassuringly. “It was Hal. He killed Barry Allen (The Flash).”

“No…” Oliver Quinn suddenly lost two friends, Hal and Barry.

Wen Yue sat down in front of the Bat Computer and skillfully operated the internal system to activate all the defenses of Wayne Manor, setting the intrusion defense alert to the highest level and turning on all the simulated sunlights.

The final step in adjusting the settings required confirmation with the highest authority command. Wen Yue turned to look at Batman and Green Arrow, who had been silently watching her. "Bruce, GO."

"What do you know?" Batman asked, his expression serious.

"Pretty much, but the Justice League is about to storm in, so how about we lock the house first?" Wen Yue suggested gently.

Batman pursed his lips and granted permission.

Almost immediately, an alarm blared throughout the bat cave, and the three men looked at each other in disbelief.

Wen Yue stared blankly, at a loss for what to do: "Would you believe me if I said it was a coincidence?"

Batman and Green Arrow swiftly donned their masks, subtly tensing their bodies to face the intruders in a fighting stance.

Wonder Woman appeared at the entrance of the Batcave, looking slightly disheveled. Her fists were clenched and her chest was heaving.

"Oh, it's you, Diana. Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I could have at least turned off the automatic defense system against vampires in my house. Look at the mess this has made. Are you alright?" Wen Yue greeted the guest with great enthusiasm.

“I’m fine, but you might not be so.” Wonder Woman’s face was so dark it looked like it could drip water. She said in a deep voice, “Bruce, stop being so stubborn.”

Hal the Green Lantern appeared in mid-air, following Wonder Woman.

"You came as a team?" Wen Yue lightly stepped forward and spun sideways in mid-air, narrowly avoiding Hal's fluorescent green tentacles. This Green Lantern didn't even bother with acting; he just went straight into battle, not pretending at all.

"I heard you're afraid of yellow?" Wen Yue turned Red Robin's cloak inside out, the yellow layer of the black cloak facing out. "Now that you see me, are you scared?"

The Green Lantern ring can materialize the wearer's willpower, but it also has a fatal weakness: it is ineffective against yellow objects. Yellow in the emotional spectrum symbolizes fear, which is exactly the opposite of the willpower that drives the Green Lantern's ring.

"Get lost!" Hal said impatiently, his attitude towards all Red Robins being remarkably consistent. He raised his hand, unleashing a green light that materialized and charged towards Red Robin.

Wen Yue, having learned a few circus moves from Dick, possessed incredible flexibility, nimbly weaving through the entangled green tentacles. Even if she didn't avoid the green light, the energy of the green light's attack would be secretly absorbed by the aura; the player was merely putting on a show of dodging, after all, she was dedicated to her role as Red Robin. With her cape billowing, the player performed a backflip, smoothly reuniting with her temporary teammates.

"Wonder Woman is mine, Green Lantern is yours." Wen Yue spun around, switching opponents with Batman and Green Arrow.

Compared to Wonder Woman, Hal is relatively easier to deal with. Green Lantern has a significant exploitable weakness: his power comes from the Lantern Ring. By simply interrupting the power transmission from the ring on his finger, Hal is not a threat.

Wonder Woman has virtually no weaknesses. Batman's countermeasure against Diana relied on emotional manipulation, but now, as a vampire, she's immune to those same emotions. Wen Yue also faces a tough challenge in dealing with Diana, but fortunately, she's not the player's primary objective.

"Your kid's that good?" Green Arrow teased. Red Robin had held his own against Hal earlier, and now, in a one-on-one fight against Diana, who had virtually no weaknesses, his performance and strength were not to be underestimated. He assumed Red Robin was carrying out Batman's contingency plan, after all, Batman's backup plan B was notorious.

Batman frowned and remained silent, focusing some of his attention on Red Robin, though he had no idea what she was going to do.

Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth bound Wen Yue, but surprisingly, the player broke free as easily as if it were an ordinary rope. Angel Halo gained another bar of energy.

This unexpected move gave Wen Yue the opportunity to tackle Wonder Woman to the Batcomputer.

"Unauthorized user detected. Security measures to be implemented." The system triggered the security protocol, instantly releasing a powerful and extremely destructive current that burst forth with dazzling sparks, piercing through Wonder Woman and Red Robin, who was pinning her down, with overwhelming force.

"No!" Batman cried out in anguish as he watched Red Robin being engulfed in electricity.

This surge of electricity directly crippled Gotham's power system, plunging the entire city into a blackout and plunging it into darkness.

As expected, each profession has its own expertise; even the Halo Battery needs to be charged.

With the help of cheat codes, the player relaxed contentedly, proving Wonder Woman's worth—no wonder she's the daughter of Zeus, even a million volts couldn't harm her. The player made the most of the situation, using the Lasso of Truth to bind the opponent, taking from the people and using it for the people.

"Relax, Bruce, this isn't a suicide mission." Wen Yue didn't even look up, focusing solely on binding Wonder Woman.

"To be honest, Bruce, you're not exactly a normal human, are you?" Green Arrow looked at Batman with an expression that said, "Finally, you've stopped pretending." The little monster adopted by the Bat-Monster possesses electrical resistance comparable to Wonder Woman.

"Don't talk nonsense. Batman and I are just ordinary people," Wen Yue said, widening her innocent blue eyes as she tried her best to clarify.

Green Arrow: "..." Look at Gotham's crumbling power system before you speak. It's pitch black here, so you're just going to lie through your teeth, right?

In the dense darkness, Hal, radiating green light, became the biggest target. Batman seized the opportunity to spray yellow silica powder at the only ray of light, temporarily immobilizing Hal. Green Arrow, in perfect coordination, fired an arrow, his compassion allowing him to hit only the non-lethal left shoulder.

Wen Yue, as gentle as a light breeze, quickly approached Hal and grasped Hal's hand adorned with a ring.

A dazzling light leaked out from between the two people's overlapping palms. The immense green energy transformed into invisible waves that erupted from the two of them, like water droplets falling into an inky dark pool, creating ripples. The ring emitted its last dazzling green light on the player's hand before fading into silence.

The essence of the lamp ring is an energy ring. The stronger the user's will, the more efficient and powerful the lamp ring's energy can be mobilized. The player's own willpower may not be able to fully mobilize its energy, but unfortunately, the player's cheats are a hard counter.

In Wen Yue's hands, the light emitted by the ring surpassed that of any previous user. A dazzling green light shone forth, instantly illuminating every corner of the Batcave, so bright it blinded everyone. This shocked everyone present, and Hal was utterly incredulous.

However, in a short while, all the remaining energy of the lamp ring was absorbed by the player's cheat.

Players couldn't help but exclaim again, "Green Lantern is really awesome! I hope there will be more Green Lanterns!"

"Whoosh—" The roar of the motorcycle grew louder as it broke through the already battered Bat Cave wall. Red Hood's wild riding style only exacerbated the damage to the Bat Cave.

"Six against one, we've got this in the bag." Damian jumped out of the red-hooded car and brandished his knife at Hal. As he passed Batman, Batman grabbed his cape and lifted him up like a kitten by the scruff of its neck, pulling him back.

Wen Yue excitedly clenched her fist in agreement, turned on her headset and connected to the Bat Universal Channel: "Those who haven't come yet, hurry up and come! Tonight, let's compete with the vampire army and end this chaotic battle started by vampires."

Batman suddenly turned around: "Did you tell them to meet at the Batcave tonight?"

Wen Yue puffed out her chest with pride and nodded readily.

"Who are you?" Batman asked in a low voice, his gaze scrutinizing the question he had already sensed. His black cape seemed to blend into the night, and an irresistible sense of oppression emanated from him.

Another roar of motorcycles filled the air as Nightwing Motorbike, carrying Barbara, appeared just in time, leaping over obstacles and landing on the gravel-strewn ground of the Bat Cave.

Barbara jumped out of the car and landed smoothly, her eyes fixed on Wen Yue, her voice tense: "Listen to me, everyone. I found the Joker but discovered he was already dead. All the clues and evidence pointing to him were fake. Someone tricked us into investigating in the wrong direction. This person is inside the family—it's Red Robin! We found traces of his staff and Red Robin's darts at the scene."

"Yes, and this Red Robin is an enemy in disguise. He wants to harm Barbara, and he has arranged for vampires to ambush her whenever she investigates crucial clues." Nightwing drew his Cali Stick from his back and attacked Red Robin without hesitation, his move a killing blow.

Considering that the player had been electrocuted so badly but was still unharmed, everyone looked at them with suspicion.

Wen Yue hugged herself tightly in fear: Oh no, this one's coming for me.
