Chapter 1 Time Travel, Stealing Grain

In the Great Jin Dynasty, in Maoshan Village, Yushan Town, a thatched house.

"We didn't steal any grain."

"Big cousin, we really didn't steal it. My sister and I wouldn't dare."

"You two dared to steal, you deserve to be beaten to death, you jinxes."

Why is it so noisy? Where am I?

Lu Qiqi felt an unbearable headache even before she opened her eyes.

A plane crashes; it only takes a few seconds to hit the ground, and the plane should have been smashed to pieces.

But she's still conscious; she's not dead?

Countless thoughts flashed through her mind in a flash. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw a foot kicking her hard in the chest, making her almost vomit blood.

The immense force caused her body to lean backward, and a slender body caught her, preventing the back of her head from touching the ground.

Whoever dared to kick her must have a death wish.

As the chief disciple of Mount Emei, Lu Qiqi had always had everything she wanted since childhood. She had never suffered such humiliation before. She was determined to get up and cripple this man's legs.

Lu Qiqi struggled a few times, but to no avail.

All I could see was the thatched roof with a few holes in it.

The sunlight stung her eyes, and she was unable to move. All she could hear was the person beneath her crying out in pain.

Immediately afterwards, a sharp pain shot through my head again.

A flood of memories that didn't belong to her came rushing in.

She actually time-traveled!

The original owner of this body also shared the same name as her, Lu Qiqi, and was currently fifteen years old.

The one who shielded her from falling was the original owner's nine-year-old younger sister, Lu Yao.

As soon as Lu Qiqi opened her eyes, she saw her adopted younger sister, who was pouting with her small red mouth, sobbing and shedding small tears.

His nose was bright red, and he was clinging pitifully to her shoulder.

"Sister, you're finally awake."

"Does your head hurt?" Lu Yao asked, her voice trembling with tears. Her eyes were as red as a little rabbit's. When she saw Lu Qiqi wake up, her tears were about to burst forth.

My older cousin's push just now caused my sister's head to hit the corner of the wall, and she immediately passed out.

If her sister gets seriously injured in the accident, she doesn't want to live anymore.

"I'm fine, don't cry anymore."

Lu Qiqi is the senior disciple of Mount Emei, with a group of junior disciples below her. She is most afraid of children crying.

Especially for delicate young girls like this, who seem so fragile that they could break at the slightest touch.

Since her parents died, Lu Yao has been relying on her older sister for support. Hearing that her sister was alright, her tears naturally began to recede.

"Lu Qiqi, stop playing dead. These days, millet is very precious. It's not something you two sisters can afford to eat!"

"Hurry up and hand over the rest, or when my mother comes, she'll kick you two jinxes out of the house."

The sharp, piercing sound rang out again, and Lu Qiqi clearly felt Lu Yao, who was holding her, jump in fright.

Lu Qiqi thought to herself, 'Oh no, the little white rabbit is going to cry again.'

Lu Qiqi looked at the person who kicked her, and a flat, donkey-like face came into view, with beady eyes, a flat nose, and freckles extending outwards from the nose.

This is so ugly!

I don't know where that ugly woman, with her dark, thin, and short body, got such strength to kick both of her sisters to the ground.

According to the original owner's memories, this is the original owner's eldest cousin, Lu Changping, who has been making things difficult for the original owner and her younger sister ever since the original owner's parents died.

Lu Qiqi deduced that it was Lu Changping's push that caused the original owner's death, which led her to this place.

She stood up and looked Lu Changping in the eye.

"...". Okay, she's not tall either.

"You accuse us sisters of stealing grain, where's the evidence?" Lu Qiqi stood up and walked step by step toward Lu Changping, her voice cold and her eyes flashing with icy light.

Seeing the cold glint in Lu Qiqi's eyes, Lu Changping involuntarily took two steps back. She had never seen Lu Qiqi so assertive before.

Soon, Lu Changping stopped retreating. She was always the one bullying Lu Qiqi, so it was impossible for her to have been replaced after just one bump on the head.

Thinking this way, Lu Changping calmed down. She said contemptuously, "Evidence? What evidence do you need? Who would steal their own grain? Only you two, rats and ants who have never seen anything good in your lives, would do such a shameless thing."

"I'll have to look through it and see where you hid it."

As he spoke, he began rummaging through Lu Qiqi's bed.

Lu Qiqi watched as Lu Changping walked past her towards the bedside, and she realized the truth: it was a case of the thief crying "stop thief!"

She looked around the room; it was so bare that it could be described as sparsely furnished. There was a three-legged octagonal table against the wall, with an earthenware pot on it.

There was a small quilt covered in patches on the bed, and the walls looked so dusty that they would crumble at the slightest touch.

Lu Changping yanked the blanket off, and a few straws floated in the air.

Lu Qiqi stared in disbelief at the straw covering the bed, thinking, 'This wretched thing can be called a bed? It's more like a den!'

Then, Lu Changping swept all the straw on the bed onto the floor.

Lu Qiqi frowned slightly and said coldly, "What's there to look for in my house?"

"Of course it's the household registration!" After searching unsuccessfully and being tricked into revealing information, Lu Changping immediately realized what was going on and used her loud voice to cover up her guilty conscience: "Of course it's the grain you stole."

Lu Qiqi, who is always vengeful, is not so easy to talk to. She can't let that kick go unpunished.

She flexed her wrists, still not quite used to her frail body after just transmigrating, feeling as if a strong wind could blow her away.

But it's more than enough to deal with my eldest cousin who has malicious intentions and tries to steal my household registration.

Lu Qiqi rushed forward and kicked Lu Changping against the wall.

Treat them as they treat you.

With a loud bang, a bloodcurdling scream, like a pig being slaughtered, immediately followed: "Ahhhhhh!"

Lu Changping huddled in the corner, clutching her stomach, and cursed, "Lu Qiqi, you bitch, how dare you hit me! Don't you know who's feeding you? If it weren't for my parents, you would have starved to death and met King Yama long ago."
