Chapter 21 Sneak Attack

"Warning! Enemy attack!" the Tartars shouted.

Lu Qiqi held a pig-slaughtering knife, and blood dripped from the tip of the knife onto the ground.

Upon seeing their comrade dead, the Tartars who were keeping watch around the fire immediately picked up their scimitars and slashed at Lu Qiqi.

"Damn two-legged sheep, I'll tear you to pieces!"

Lu Qiqi raised her foot and kicked hard, causing the Tartar's scimitar to fall to the ground. Then, she swiftly brought her sword down and slashed at the Tartar's body.

The villagers hidden in the forest were greatly encouraged when they saw Lu Qiqi easily kill the Tartars!

Song Yanqing shouted, "Follow me to kill the enemy!"

They immediately engaged the Tartars in a fierce battle.

Upon hearing of the enemy attack, the Tartars filed out of their tents!

As soon as the villagers clashed with the Tartars, they completely forgot what Song Yanqing had taught them!

The villagers had little combat experience; they simply fought to the death, lacking any skill and charging recklessly! Armed with sharpened wooden sticks, pitchforks, hoes, and knives left behind by bandits, they stabbed, pitched, and slashed at the Tartars.

Driven by a single-minded belief in survival, they all became bloodthirsty!

After killing the Tartar, Lu Qiqi headed towards the center of the tent. To catch the thief, you must first catch the king; she was going to capture the bearded general!

Lu Qiqi fought her way through the Tartars and arrived at the center of the tent.

When the bearded man's tent was lifted, his clothes were stained with the blood of the Tartars.

Inside the tent, the bearded man held a long sword, with two guards beside him holding curved swords.

When the guards saw Lu Qiqi rushing in with a butcher knife, they immediately surrounded and attacked her.

Lu Qiqi swept her leg across the ground, causing one guard to fall. Taking advantage of the moment, she leaped up and killed the other guard by stepping on his body.

Seeing that his two men had died at Lu Qiqi's hands, the bearded man gripped his knife with both hands and slashed fiercely at Lu Qiqi.

Lu Qiqi used all her strength to block, and was almost hit by the bearded man's sword!

Lu Qiqi was having trouble breathing. The bearded man was tall, strong, and powerful, and this body couldn't unleash its full fighting potential!

Lu Qiqi strained and lifted the bearded man's knife slightly.

No! She can't fight a prolonged battle with her current stamina; we need a quick victory!

Just as Lu Qiqi was about to dodge and escape, the bearded man's movements faltered for a moment, and a drop of blood trickled out of his mouth!

Lu Qiqi pushed hard to prevent the bearded man from falling on her!

Then Lu Qiqi saw Song Yanqing standing in front of her, holding a long knife.

It was Song Yanqing who saved her!

Lu Qiqi walked up to Song Yanqing and said, "Thank you!" Then she asked, "Did you kill them all?"

Song Yanqing carefully examined Lu Qiqi. Seeing her lively and energetic appearance, he knew she was not injured, and his anxiety completely subsided. "They've all been killed, and the villagers are cleaning up the battlefield."

Lu Qiqi suddenly remembered something, immediately rushed out of the tent, and ran into the woods on the side.

When I ran to where the horse was tied up, there was no sign of it!

Seeing the ropes used to tether horses all over the ground, Lu Qiqi guessed that the Tartars must have cut the ropes in an attempt to escape!

It's such a pity that so many good horses ran away, dozens of them!

Lu Qiqi returned to the place where the Tartars had started their fire, but before she could ask the villagers if any Tartars had escaped, Li Shoucai pulled her away!

Li Shoucai grabbed Lu Qiqi's arm and dragged her into a tent. "Girl, hurry up and go see! The cook you brought back is about to die!"

Lu Qiqi's expression changed, and she quickly ran into the tent.

Inside the tent, several villagers, covered in blood, stared at Lu Qiqi and silently made way for her.

Liu Tong's two apprentices, Zhu Zi and Dun Zi, knelt on the ground and cried.

Liu Tong lay on the couch, his face pale, with a long gash on his stomach, the sides turned inside out, and a small section of his intestines protruding.

Lu Qiqi strode up to Liu Tong, swept the pillar and stool aside, and said sternly, "What are you howling about? Your master isn't dead yet! If you don't want your master to die, then do as I say!"

Upon hearing that their master could still be saved, Dunzi and Zhuzi immediately fell silent, their eyes brimming with tears as they gazed at Lu Qiqi.

The villagers were even more incredulous. How could the cook, who was so badly injured with his intestines sticking out, still be alive?

You're kidding me! Is Lu Qiqi some kind of celestial being descended to earth?! She can actually snatch people from the jaws of death?!

Zhu Zi was the first to react. He wiped away his tears with his sleeve and said, "Please speak!"

Lu Qiqi took out a hallucinogenic leaf from her spatial storage, pretending to pull it from her pocket, and handed it to Zhu Zi, instructing, "Crush this leaf and squeeze out the juice for me, and be quick!"

"The rest of you, boil water and find clean cloths."

Lu Qiqi's voice was calm and steady, which inexplicably convinced the men. They dropped their hoes and quickly did as Lu Qiqi said, leaving the tent one after another.

While everyone was out, Lu Qiqi secretly took some spiritual spring water from her space, fed it to Liu Tong, then washed her hands and used the spiritual spring water to wash Liu Tong's intestines before stuffing them back in.

Lu Qiqi applied the remaining spiritual spring water to Liu Tong's wound.

After doing all this, Lu Qiqi stared at the wound carefully, but there was no change at all. This showed that the spiritual spring water had no effect on such external injuries!

"The juice is ready! The juice is ready!"

Zhu Zi ran into the tent, holding a small bowl in both hands and shouting.

Lu Qiqi took the hallucinogenic liquid, smeared it on Liu Tong's stomach, and then took out a needle and burned it on a tinderbox to disinfect it.

Just then, Dunzi brought in a basin of boiling water and looked at Lu Qiqi threading a needle, completely bewildered.

Dunzi looked down at Zhuzi and asked, "Are you sewing clothes?"

Lu Qiqi threaded the needle and said without changing her expression, "I'm using this to sew up your master!"

A mound; "......".

Pillar:"......."

When Song Yanqing entered the tent, Lu Qiqi was using spiritual spring water to clean Liu Tong's wounds. Hearing footsteps, she said sternly, "You two go out and keep watch, don't let anyone in!"

Dunzi and Zhuzi immediately stood up. When they saw that the person who came was Song Yanqing, they didn't know how to speak for a moment.

Seeing that there was still no movement, Lu Qiqi frowned, raised her face, paused slightly when she saw Song Yanqing, and then said, "What are you still standing there for?!"

The dunzi and the pillar didn't linger any longer and quickly left.

After cleaning the wound, Lu Qiqi applied a hallucinogenic liquid to Liu Tong's stomach.

There were only two small trees with psychedelic leaves planted in the space. They had picked a lot of them for hunting to avoid being seen, and they had used a lot more when the tiger mother was injured last time. Now they had picked all the leaves off themselves, and only a little juice could be squeezed out of the bottom of the bowl.

That's probably not enough!

Lu Qiqi looked up at Song Yanqing and said, "If he moves, hold him down for me. It won't be long!"

If this is delayed any longer and not stitched up, she'll die!

Liu Tong was a fat man with soft skin, so sewing him up wasn't difficult. However, Lu Qiqi used a straight needle for sewing, which was much more difficult than a curved needle.

The needle was about three or four fingers long, and it took a lot of effort to pull it out and sew. Lu Qiqi could feel fine sweat breaking out on her back.

Lu Qiqi secretly made up her mind that if she had the chance, she would definitely make a curved needle!

Song Yanqing, supporting Liu Tong's shoulder, was only arm's length away from Lu Qiqi. He saw Lu Qiqi, her eyes wide and her expression serious, stitching up Liu Tong. He thought to himself, 'If this suturing technique could be used in the military, it would significantly reduce casualties among soldiers.'

Gradually, a hint of admiration for Lu Qiqi appeared in Song Yanqing's eyes.
