Chapter 94 A New Beginning: Back to the Kingdom of Felix. ...

No matter how much tenderness and reluctance there is, separation is inevitable when faced with numerous difficulties and obstacles.

East sat silently in the carriage on the way back, leaning back in his seat and gently pressing his temples. He was probably too tired and weak from all the commotion and had no energy left.

Cai Cai hesitated, unsure whether she should speak.

Easter waved his hand lazily and said, "Don't worry, I'm fine."

Everyone could see that something was wrong with Easter, but no one could really say for sure.

"It's all our fault for being too weak," Cai Cai said. Otherwise, they could have taken the person away if they wanted to.

Easter chuckled softly, “My darlings, you’re all so adorable.”

The four little fire-men acting as guards had very interesting expressions on their faces: blank, incredulous, funny, and quirky.

Easter gave a genuine smile and rubbed his forehead. "I'm sorry, I was being rude."

I've been listening to too much of Arriber's lewd and obscene language these past few days, and I've been forced to say it too much myself, so it just slipped out without me even realizing it.

"Baby, are you in a relationship?" Yun Mu asked through gritted teeth. She had to ask now. How long had she been gone? How could her baby have been taken advantage of by a pig? And even learned some indecent things from him. She was so angry she wanted to grab a sword and chop him down.

There's no need to rush on the return trip, nor is there any need to communicate or discuss matters with the human envoys. To facilitate unreserved conversation between East and the players, unlike the arrangement on the way there, this carriage now only carries East and the players, while the six human envoys are in another carriage.

This is why Yunmu was able to ask the question.

There was worry in Cai Cai's eyes. He was unsure whether this matter needed to be kept secret, as there were too many uncertainties involved.

Easter, quite frankly and without any hesitation, replied, "Yes, I'm in a relationship."

Yunmu couldn't catch her breath, her chubby little hands stretched forward and her body fell backward, "No, don't stop me, I'm going to fight to the death."

Cai Cai quickly helped the drama queen up, "Yun Mu, calm down."

"How can I calm down? How can I possibly calm down?" Yun Mu wailed, her voice filled with anguish. "My baby is so young! Look how young he is!"

"No one's stopping you, go ahead and try to break through their defenses." Matsushita Yuki said lightly, the dramatic scene was almost unbearable to watch.

East was struggling to suppress his laughter when he suddenly met Meimei's unruly, beady eyes. He coughed lightly and asked, "What's wrong?"

"How long have you been together?" Meimei asked bluntly. She didn't believe that their king was really a naive girl who would be seduced by someone in just a few days.

Three pairs of intense eyes shot towards him, and East, feeling overwhelmed, mumbled, "It's been a while."

Matsuue Yuki chuckled softly, "This period of time must be quite long, right?" Her eyes swept over Nana meaningfully.

Cai Cai, “…” What’s going on? It’s not like I made the king fall in love. At most, he just kept it to himself.

"Fine, you kept such a big thing from me," Yunmu said, on the verge of tears. "Tell me, which wild man was it?"

After she asked that question, the space fell into a deathly silence.

"Yunmu, why do you think it's a man?" Meimei's confusion was genuine. How could she not suspect it was a woman?

Yunmu's eyes darted around. Could she really say that the way the little one looked didn't seem like the type to be with girls?

"The instincts of a beast are indeed terrifying," Matsukami Yuki aptly observed.

"It really is a man!?" Yun Mu exclaimed in surprise, her sudden outburst completely ruining the otherwise serious atmosphere.

Easter nodded and said, "You've all seen him."

Since East has already admitted it, he won't hide it anymore. He might have been insecure about the relationship before, which is why he didn't dare to go public. Now that the relationship is confirmed, everything is different. Sooner or later, it will have to be made public. It doesn't hurt to talk to these few players first.

"It really is him." Matsushita Yuki had clearly identified the person.

Yunmu and Meimei both turned their gazes toward Song Shangxue. How could they not guess?

“Arip Sansette.” East pronounced the name gently and tenderly, as sweet as honey.

The two little fire people immediately pictured the corresponding person in their minds. The reason they reacted so quickly was that Aripor had left a deep impression on them. His appearance, figure, temperament, and family background were all top-notch, so good that they were speechless.

"Is he good to you?" Yun Mu had already drawn her greatsword, stroking the hilt as she asked. No matter how good that person was, it couldn't easily change her mind. Her baby was her own baby, what did a random man matter?

“Besides you,” Easter said, “he is the only person in the world who has ever been kind to me.”

“Your Majesty, something’s not right with your mindset,” Matsushita Yuki said. “I suppose you can distinguish between being touched and liking someone, right?”

East nodded. "Of course."

“Alright then,” Yunmu said. “There’s still time, take your time.” She sheathed her greatsword, reluctant and with mixed feelings. She looked at Ister with pity in her eyes. “If he dares to bully you, just tell us. I can’t beat him by myself, but I don’t believe that so many little firemen can’t beat him.”

East gently patted Yunmu's little tuft of hair on her head and said tenderly, "Okay, I'll remember." I'll remember your care, concern, and love for me.

"That guy got off easy." Yunmu muttered to herself as she looked at East's smile. How could his good and well-behaved little boy have been kidnapped?

Despite his helplessness, East indulged him, and the sorrow of parting with Areper was largely dispelled by the players' interruptions.

Yunmu peeked over again, nestled against East's lap, and asked, "Little one, who's on top?"

Matsuue Yuki couldn't help but chuckle. "That's a good question."

East, “…” He had reason to suspect that Matsushita Yuki had taken the script.

"It really is?" Matsukami Yuki said, "I didn't expect..."

East rubbed his forehead again. "Is it fun to tease me?"

“Not bad,” Matsukami Yuki said. “He has a strong presence now, so he seems like a good match.”

Easter smiled faintly, his eyes lowered. "He's fine."

Yunmu shook her head so hard it was almost like a rattle drum, only making herself dizzy, and still couldn't understand the riddle the two were playing.

She lay still, then suddenly jumped up, her head hitting the roof of the carriage with a loud thud. She clutched her head and squatted on the ground, not even paying attention to her head, stammering, "No, it's not what I think, is it?"

"Tsk, that reaction speed," Matsukami Yuki shook her head, "You didn't seem stupid before, could it be that you're just worried and confused?"

Yunmu stammered, unable to speak, and squatted down in the corner of the carriage with a look of utter disbelief.

Even though Ister didn't say anything, all his secrets have been exposed. This player is too smart, which is also worrying!

Since they didn't have to rush on the return journey, they were able to take their time to appreciate the scenery along the way. But to be honest, there wasn't much to see. The continent was in complete chaos, and monsters could appear at any time, ruining even the most beautiful scenery.

With nothing else to do, Easter picked out a few books to read. His conversation with Xavier last time and his shopping trip with Areber had made him realize how little he knew about this continent. Since he had the time, he might as well make up for it.

The system is coordinating players to help in various parts of the continent. Led by the four empires, the business of hiring Ister's summons is in full swing. It's not just humans; magical races such as mermaids, elves, orcs, and goblins are also choosing to ask players for help.

Players are no longer confined to one place; they are scattered throughout the continent. This makes the tasks that need to be triggered more diverse, and the system is always afraid of problems arising if it doesn't keep a close eye on things.

Many players have now leveled up, and although they are not at the top level, they are hundreds of times better than when they first arrived in this world. Players can do more things and are more adept at dealing with monsters. For this continent, this is nothing short of a life-saving medicine.

Although there were occasional hiccups on the return journey, with the protection of the players, the group returned to the Royal City of Esther smoothly.

Ester lifted the carriage curtain. In the one or two months since he left, the royal city of Ester had undergone tremendous changes. The abundance of building materials had accelerated the pace of renovation. At a glance, the streets were neat, the houses were orderly, and the pedestrians were full of vitality. Even though winter had arrived, it created a thriving scene.

East leaned against the carriage wall, exhaled softly, the white mist dissipated, his eyes were slightly dazed, and his fingertips touched invisible threads.

Atop a snow-covered mountain peak, a "source" stands.

East closed his eyes and thought that the one that came to him last time was most likely the one he had "seen" in the sea before. What did it mean that he was "seeing" it again at this moment?

He quickly regained his composure, not wanting to dwell on these things while he was still in a good mood, lest it spoil the fun.

Groups of little fire-men waited in front of the palace, their big, dark eyes casting their gazes at Ister in the carriage, their expressions varied, but mostly filled with curiosity.

East knocked on the side of the carriage, signaling the driver to stop there. Since his little players were curious, he should satisfy their curiosity.

Easter stepped down from the carriage. He was dressed simply today, but that couldn't hide his extraordinary temperament.

The little fire people were very polite and gave East plenty of room to move around.

"Your Majesty, you are so handsome! Even the most beautiful women, those who could rival the moon and shame the flowers, cannot fully capture your beauty." A small, pink fire-man stepped forward, his ID [夭夭], and asked in an aria, "Do you have a mission?"

"This sudden turn of events almost made me throw up my back," the little fireman next to him complained.

East smiled particularly gently and asked with a hint of doubt, "Aren't there enough monsters on the continent for you to kill?"

Haha~

Haha~

...

The little fire people all laughed at the same time. Why did their king have a craving for tea?

"Your Majesty, how could you be so cruel?" Yao Yao said, her heart breaking, a true drama queen. "Are demons so easy to kill?" He had just been brutally tortured more than ten times, so no one was allowed to mention demons in front of him, or he would get angry with anyone who did.

East ruffled the little tuft of hair on Yao Yao's head. Perhaps it was because of the color, but it felt even more bouncy. He smiled and said, "Good girl."

"Ah, I'm dead~" Yao Yao collapsed into the crowd of little fire people, pretending to faint on the spot.

"Haha, where did this drama queen come from?" one young man joked. "You shouldn't be here; you should be shining in the entertainment industry."

"Although it's an exaggeration, the king is truly gentle~"

"Yes, yes, what you see on video can't compare to being there in person."

"I'm very satisfied with my choice because of its good looks."

...

East felt ashamed; the players' praise was too unrestrained, as if they were more uninhibited online.

"The little one is even shy~" A player noticed the blush rising on Ist's cheeks and exclaimed in surprise.

Surrounded by players and showered with compliments, East admitted he was overwhelmed and changed the subject, asking, "Do you guys like Minecraft?"

"Not bad, not bad at all, very good, very authentic."

"Adventure is very interesting, and the local customs and culture are also very interesting."

The players complied with Esther's wish and shared their opinions on the game.

Ist chatted happily with the players along the way, and the players were very satisfied, which made them even more motivated to charge into battle for their king.
