"Now the Grand Admiral of the Navy Camp is a member of the Su family, and the Prefect is a member of the Lin family. They have become so lawless that the people of Yangcheng are terrified of them."
"Okay." Qingling nodded and turned to leave.
"Shuanghua, you and Granny Jiang stay in the courtyard for the next two days and don't go out."
For the past two days, she has been secretly keeping an eye on the naval camp and the people in the prefect's mansion.
In the evening, Qingling suddenly grabbed a man and threw him in while several people were sitting in the main hall. This man was the stall owner who sold seawater pearls that day.
"Why are you arresting me? Believe me or not, I'll report you to the authorities and have them arrest you all!"
"Is this the person who tipped off the soldiers during the day?" Jiang Hua glanced at the man on the ground, got up, and walked towards him to ask.
Qingling nodded slightly.
"Why did you do that?" Jiang Hua squatted down and asked softly.
The man was about to retort when he was so frightened by the dagger at his neck that he almost choked on his own saliva.
"Don't kill me, don't kill me, I still need to wait for my daughter to come back." The man retreated repeatedly, but his legs were blocked by Qingling's legs, who had appeared behind him at some point.
"What can I do? I only have one daughter. They kidnapped her. They promised me that if I found a girl to replace my daughter, they would release her." The man seemed to have given up on himself and grabbed Qingling's leg, wailing loudly without thinking twice.
"Get lost." Qingling kicked the man away with a look of disgust.
"You believe everything he says? Has your daughter come back yet?" Jiang Hua asked the man, and seeing that he had nothing to say, "Do you know that you've found someone to replace your daughter? Where can your daughter go now?"
Seeing the man's blank expression, Jiang Hua continued:
"Do you know what Yingchun Tower, the largest restaurant in Yangcheng, is?"
"Don't believe me? I'll take you there tonight." Jiang Hua sheathed her dagger and smiled at the man.
Fifteen minutes later, Jiang Hua and Qing Ling, dressed in men's robes and wearing human skin masks, were completely unrecognizable as girls.
"Let's go," Jiang Hua said, glancing at the man on the ground.
Hearing Jiang Hua and Qing Ling's familiar voices, the man finally recognized that the man in front of him was actually them in disguise.
In the night market, many shops had already closed, and only Yingchunlou was brightly lit and bustling with activity. The red lanterns had just been hung up, and several heavily made-up girls on the second floor were waving handkerchiefs at the window to welcome customers.
Jiang Hua and her group walked in calmly, and as soon as they entered, they saw that the room was already full.
"Are all those people from the naval camp?" Jiang Hua looked around and asked the man.
The man nodded heavily, his eyes constantly scanning his surroundings, searching for his daughter. He hoped to see her here, yet he also hoped she wasn't.
"My daughter! My daughter!" the man exclaimed excitedly, attracting the attention of the madam of Yingchun Pavilion.
Seeing that the group consisted of unfamiliar faces, the madam cautiously approached them. The man, however, had already been rendered speechless by Qingling's acupoint strike.
"Is this your first time here, gentlemen? We have plenty of girls here. Do you like any of them? We guarantee you'll want to stay forever."
"I want her," Jiang Hua said, pointing to the girl who was being forced to drink alcohol.
The madam's expression tightened, and she took a step back, remaining silent as if pondering their identities.
"What, do you look down on us? It's just silver." Jiang Hua took out five one-hundred-tael silver notes. The madam, who had been cautious just moments before, snatched the notes from Jiang Hua's hand as soon as she saw them.
"I'll have that girl come and serve you right away," the madam said with a smile.
After saying that, she turned and walked towards the table of guests, who were already completely drunk, and the madam had replaced them with several girls.
"Gentlemen, the person you requested has arrived." The madam pulled the girl up to them and smiled obsequiously.
"Do you have a private room?" Jiang Hua asked the madam, pretending to be lecherous, as she pinched the girl's chin.
"Yes, yes, do you want to come together?" The madam looked at the four of them with some suspicion. Could it be that they were going to sleep with one girl for one night? This girl was newly recruited. She might get played to death as soon as she started working.
“We two want her,” Qingling said, pointing to one of the girls who was available.
Bai Heng also chose one, and as Jiang Hua was about to go upstairs, she pointed to another girl and they went into the room together.
"Send someone to keep an eye on them and see if these people are causing trouble."
After Jiang Hua and the others went upstairs, the madam's smile vanished instantly, and she instructed the servants of Yingchun Tower to keep watch at their room door.
After locking the door, before she could even look around the room, Jiang Hua already sensed that someone was guarding her at the door.
"Young master~" The other woman greeted him warmly, but a handkerchief was thrown at her. After inhaling the fragrance of flowers, her vision began to blur and her body grew hotter and hotter.
Jiang Hua caught the woman and tossed her onto the bed. A moment later, the woman on the bed began to hug her pillow and moan to herself, making the girl in the room feel extremely nervous.
Jiang Hua turned around and looked at the girl who was hiding in the corner watching her, and walked towards her step by step.
"Don't come any closer! Don't come any closer!" the girl said, shaking her head in fear.
Jiang Hua ignored her fear, knocked her unconscious, and put her into her spatial storage.
She opened the window of the room; jumping down from here would lead directly to the back alley of Yingchun Tower. Without hesitation, Jiang Hua leaped down and only released the unconscious girl from her spatial dimension when she reached the corner.
At Yingchun Tower, the madam was relieved to hear the servant's report about Jiang Hua and her group's sudden appearance.
By the time the madam and her companions realized someone was missing, it was already dawn. They searched the entire courtyard but couldn't find Jiang Hua and the others.
In the prefect's residence, Qingyue was peeling grapes and feeding them one by one to Prefect Lin, who was holding her waist. Sitting to Prefect Lin's right was Commander Su of the naval camp.
"My lord, you must help our pharmacy!" The pharmacy manager from yesterday scrambled to his knees before Magistrate Lin.
"What's wrong? Why are you so impulsive!" Magistrate Lin shoved Qingyue aside: "Go and serve Governor Su."
Qingyue obediently responded and sat down next to Governor Su. When Governor Su saw the beauty sitting next to him, he pulled her into his arms.
The pharmacy manager recounted what Qingling had done in the pharmacy yesterday, and finally pointed to Qingyue: "This person is her twin sister, and the two look exactly alike."
"Exactly the same?" Magistrate Lin only remembered these four words: "Brother Su, it seems that neither of us brothers has ever played with a girl who looks exactly the same and is so beautiful."
