Chapter 59 Kuacangshan Vocational Technical School

Yangzhou, Kuancang Mountain.

Luo Yan walked through the mountains with a book in his hand. Although it was winter, the scenery in the mountains was still beautiful, and the streams beside the road were gurgling and clear.

In the Dongzhen section of the orthodox Taoist canon, there is an anecdote recorded in a certain book:

There was a man named Yang Yin, who lived in Jinyun County, Yangzhou. He liked the tranquility of Kuancang Mountain and often went there to play and live.

One day, when he was drinking with a Taoist priest from Jinyun Temple, he suddenly fell to the ground as if dead, and did not wake up until seven days later.

The Taoist asked him, and he said that a fairy named "Lingying" invited him to visit the fairyland.

The entrance to the fairyland is a cave without a name, so Yang Yin called it "Kuancang Cave".

After entering the cave, one can see "magnificent buildings, flying cranes and phoenixes, clear skies and warm scenery, different from the human world". It is obvious that this is a secret place.

Fairy Lingying let him eat the Qingyunzhi, and then took him to meet the three masters of the secret realm, namely Xiaoyou Tianwang Jun, Huayang Damao Jun, and Yinxuantian Zuoming Jun.

After the worship, the three immortals said, "You have immortal bones, but you have not yet reached the realm of ascension. You should continue to practice in the human world." Then they asked Fairy Lingying to send him away.

After Yang Yin left Kuancang Cave, he "did not like grains, but drank three liters of water and ate a cup of lily a day." It was obvious that he relied on the medicinal power of Qingyunzhi to directly skip the three stages of fasting for mortals and entered the Qi Refining stage.

If the description in the book is true, there must be a secret place built by immortals in Kuancang Mountain.

If we can find the entrance, we can then trick Miss Shi into coming to explore.

After half a day, Luo Yan arrived at Jinyun Temple in the mountains.

There were only a few Taoists in the temple, all with white hair.

Luo Yan used his spiritual sense to test and found that the three Taoists were all mortals and did not practice fasting.

He disguised himself as a tourist and asked about the past events of Yang Yin.

"This is just idle talk, why should you take it seriously?" A Taoist stroked his beard and said with a smile, "Many people have asked about this before, but they all returned with nothing."

"If you are interested, you can go to Ruanlang Pavilion in the mountains. It was there that the ancestors drank with Yang Yin in the past."

Luo Yan nodded in thanks.

After about an hour, he found Ruan Langting along the mountain road.

The pavilion was built on a stone platform halfway up the mountain. Next to it was a large stone cliff with countless seal script inscriptions on it.

According to historical records, Yang Yin got drunk here and entered the secret realm.

Um……

Luo Yan first checked for a moment and did not find any formations around.

Sitting down in the pavilion, he took out a pot of wine from his bag.

After thinking for a while, he put the wine jug back into his bag.

Since the Taoist priest of Jinyun Temple said that someone had visited here before, he would surely try to drink and get drunk like Yang Yin did.

However, in the end, everything turned out to be fruitless, which shows that drinking is useless.

The mechanism of the entrance to the secret realm is not so easy to uncover. It requires future generations to have great wisdom, perseverance, and good fortune to explore it.

Thinking of this, Luo Yan said in a deep voice:

"Ajing, help me scan!"

Kunlun Mirror: ...

"What's wrong?" Luo Yan asked again.

"Wait a moment." Kunlun Jing was silent for a moment, then suddenly said, "There is something wrong with the words on that wall."

"Where?" Luo Yan followed the instructions on the Kunlun Mirror and finally found a piece of text in a very low-lying valley.

These words are blocked by bushes and are located very low. Also, due to the angle, one needs to lie on the ground beside the pavilion to see them.

Luo Yan ignored his manners and fell to the ground to look. He saw a line of five-character poem written there:

Where is Ruan Ke? The entrance of the fairy cloud cave is across.

There is no place on earth that can be reached, so today I will go there.

Huh? Luo Yan suddenly thought, if Yang Yin was really drunk, would he have fallen where I was and seen this little poem?

Then, he felt the world spinning and the scene in front of him suddenly changed.

I saw that the large inscription on the cliff had disappeared, replaced by a cave.

The entrance of the cave is very spacious and does not look like it was built by humans. There is moss growing in many places.

Luo Yan was not in a hurry to move forward, but just discussed with Kunlun Jing:

"Can you analyze this entrance mechanism, Jing?"

"It seems to be a visual mechanism." Kunlun Mirror was silent for a few minutes, and then replied, "When you look at it, it will pull you into the secret realm."

"Going out?" Luo Yan asked again to confirm.

"Same." Kunlun Mirror replied, "Look at the rock wall behind you, there are also words on it."

Luo Yan searched carefully and found a line of words engraved on the rock wall behind the vines. The strokes were very fine and difficult to detect without careful observation:

With only two or three pieces of celestial bones, it is difficult to ascend to the ninth heaven.

Let’s go back to the human world and stay in Yushan next year.

Before I could savor it, I felt the world spinning and I found myself in Ruan Lang Pavilion outside.

Luo Yan returned to the secret realm again and confirmed the entry and exit mechanism several times.

"A Jing," he asked in a low voice, "is there any way to cover up this line of poetry inside?"

"Are you planning to prevent Miss Shi from leaving after she comes in?" Kunlun Jing thought for a moment and said, "Okay, I can just use an illusion to cover it up."

"But she couldn't go out, so why were you able to go out and report to Master? This question may need to be resolved."

"No need to explain." Luo Yan replied, "It was only Miss Shi who entered the secret realm by accident. I don't know why I was left outside. I couldn't find the entrance, so I had to ask Master for help... How do you think?"

"Of course you can." Kunlun Jing sighed, feeling uneasy about the speed at which Luo Yan was weaving lies. "But if you do that, Miss Shi will be trapped alone in the secret realm. Aren't you afraid that something bad will happen to her?"

"So we have to explore this secret realm first to eliminate unnecessary risks." Luo Yan replied, "If this place is not suitable, we can look for other secret realms."

He continued walking forward, passed through the cave, and came to a valley.

Although it is winter outside, it is warm as spring in the valley.

The sky is clear and cloudless, the sun is warm, and the grass and trees are lush, as if it is early spring.

Not far away there are three small buildings, built in a clearing in the woods surrounded by streams.

Luo Yan walked straight into the forest and saw plaques in front of three small buildings, which read "Xiaoyou Tianwang Palace", "Huayang Damao Temple" and "Yinxuantian Zuoming Residence" respectively.

"It looks like a trial-type secret realm." Kunlun Mirror guessed, "If it is really the immortal's former residence, there is no need to specially open it up as a secret realm, and it is unlikely that the immortal's name would be written on the outside."

"Whether it is true or not, you will know once you go in." Luo Yan said decisively.

He walked straight into the "Xiaoyoutianwang Palace" on the left.

I saw that the interior was extremely spacious, and it was very similar to the secret realm of Baiyujing. Another Taoist priest stood with his hands behind his back and said calmly:

"Another distinguished guest has arrived, and he wants to challenge me in Taoism."

After saying that, he turned around, made some hand gestures, and immediately a black wind rose from the ground and swept towards Luo Yan.

Luo Yan frowned slightly. This Black Wind did not seem to be the Taoism of the orthodox Three Pure Ones. It did not have the uprightness of the authentic Xuanmen.

But it is not as evil and cruel as the six paths of the demon sect.

If I have to say, it's a bit like the first-rate unconventional magic of the ancient Jiejiao sect.

His mind moved slightly, and he had a vague guess about the background of the secret realm, so he directly pulled out the acquired five elements extinction divine light and pressed it towards the black wind on the opposite side.

When the black wind encountered the Five Elements Divine Light, it was immediately shattered on the spot.

"The Acquired Five Elements Great Extinction Divine Light?" The Taoist frowned slightly and asked, "Are you from Yue'er Island in the East China Sea?"

Luo Yan:?

It seems that Yueer Island in the East China Sea was wiped out seven thousand years ago.

"It is rare that you have cultivated the Five Elements Divine Light to such a high level without forming an elixir." The Taoist nodded with satisfaction and continued, "But in my opinion, there are still many shortcomings in your use of this method, which are..."
