The hostages were incredibly grateful to these people; if it weren't for their long-term unbalanced diet and fragile bones, they probably would have kowtowed twice on the ground.
Li Xuanzu then came out. There weren't many zombies in the stadium to begin with, especially since most of the second-tier zombies had been eaten by Da Zhuang and his group. Without the high-tier zombies leading them, the remaining zombies scattered in all directions.
Covered in blood, Li Xuanzu resembled a demon who had just crawled out of hell, his aura particularly chilling. He walked straight toward Qian Li.
Those who were rescued calmed down, but became agitated again upon seeing Li Xuanzu.
"Please be quiet, everyone. My brother doesn't like noisy environments." Qian Li seemed to be explaining on behalf of Li Xuanzu, but she was actually trying to protect these people.
Li Xuanzu won't kill them all, but given his current state, no one knows if he'll single out a few of the most outspoken ones to make an example of.
The crowd quickly quieted down, and Li Xuanzu gave Qian Li an approving look.
"You and Fu Yu go inside and clean up the spirit cores; they're too dirty." Li Xuanzu's spiritual energy wasn't suited for these tasks, so it was best to leave it to Qian Li and Fu Yu.
The most urgent task now is to find the guard dog, Big Black, on the nearby truck and clean him up.
Although Li Xuanzu was not a germaphobe, he would still try to keep himself as clean as possible if he could, since only a minority of people are used to being dirty.
Li Xuanzu's words undoubtedly revealed the situation inside the stadium, indicating that a large number of spirit cores had not yet been taken out.
Considering the number of Tier 3 and Tier 2 zombies before, it was an absolutely staggering number.
Furthermore, since Li Xuanzu was able to emerge unharmed and send people in to collect the spirit cores, even if there were zombies inside, there wouldn't be any third-tier beings.
Thinking of this, Huang Yuanqing couldn't control his expression. The corners of his mouth involuntarily turned up, which, combined with his crooked cheek, made him look very awkward.
"I'll go with you, so we can look out for each other if there's any danger," Huang Yuanqing said loudly to Fu Yu after Li Xuanzu had walked away.
He dared not provoke Li Xuanzu and Qian Li again. Fu Yu seemed easier to talk to and probably wasn't too strong, so naturally, Huang Yuanqing approached her.
"Hey, those abacus beads are practically hitting my face. You think you're so great?" Fu Yu crossed her arms, looking down at me with an air of superiority.
"Do you really think I don't know what you're thinking? Trying to fish in troubled waters and take a few spirit cores, how can you be so shameless?" Fu Yu's words trampled on the last bit of dignity Huang Yuanqing had left on this trip.
Huang Yuanqing's plan was exposed, and he could only stand there awkwardly laughing, while in his heart he was cursing Fu Yu's ancestors.
But he didn't dare to retaliate. Qian Li was watching him intently from the side, her fists clenched tightly. She felt that if he dared to hit her or curse, she could make his crooked face turn right.
"Hehe, I was just worried that you might encounter some danger. How could you think that way?" Li Xuanzu saw through Huang Yuanqing's behavior with his divine sense.
The weak and the foolish can only be said to be ill-suited to the development of society, but when they are given dignity, that is truly pathetic, even though Huang Yuanqing is already considered one of the top beings among humans.
But in Li Xuanzu's eyes, crushing him was as easy as crushing an ant, and Huang Yuanqing was particularly proud and always tried to find some sense of accomplishment with Li Xuanzu.
The strong rarely look at the weak with respect because they have self-respect; rather, they enjoy trampling on their ridiculous self-esteem for amusement.
Li Xuanzu was the latter, and he especially liked him.
In his view, only those who have shed their status as "useless" have the right to talk about self-respect. This is not something they should possess, so why should they cherish it more than their own lives?
Fu Yu and Qian Li each carried a sack and went into the stadium to collect spirit cores. After cleaning the blood off his body, Li Xuanzu, a member of the big gang, also went along.
They call it "wind protection," but to put it another way, it doesn't matter where you sleep.
But the appearance of Dahei shattered any lingering hope Huang Yuanqing had.
He didn't want to lose face in front of hundreds of people.
