Wei Yangrong brought a group of brothers today and ambushed early in this area. It should be said that they ambushed in the abandoned house in the demolition area.
His boss asked him to kidnap a little girl who was still in junior high school. This was not a difficult task for Wei Yangrong. Rather, he had done similar dirty and tiring work many times from the last century to the present. As long as he was paid and there was enjoyment and fun, he would do it without complaint.
So this matter itself is a trap, a trap set under the guise of arousing sympathy and taking advantage of other people's kindness.
He claimed to be Wei Yangrong, a college student whose family had fallen on hard times, who was starving and cold and could barely afford tuition. He knew that the girl was very vigilant and that she would come to do a background check on him. Wei Yangrong took advantage of this and set up his "home" in a remote, quiet and deserted place, deliberately letting her visit, and then he would sit back and wait for the fish to take the bait.
But this little girl's vigilance was more serious than he imagined. It was quite annoying to communicate with her. She would poke his loopholes from time to time. However, this was exactly what he wanted. Only when there were loopholes would the other party come to check.
They had originally told him they would visit them that morning, but somehow something had gone wrong, leading them to arrive at this café first, leaving the men who had been waiting outside empty-handed. They hadn't even left yet. Wei Yangrong's patience had worn thin, so he turned his men around, preparing to follow them all the way, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Wei Yangrong saw the two girls walk out of the cafe and subconsciously gripped the intercom tightly. He remained silent for a while, then gave another order with some concern: "Don't move for now. Follow them. If they reach a deserted corner, then attack them."
At this time, one of the men asked, "What if they get in the car and leave?"
Wei Yangrong's eyes flickered as he made his decision: "Then let them go and catch them back at the old house. Remember, you have to be quick when abducting people and never let anyone see your faces."
He put down the walkie-talkie and sighed that things are different now. When doing this kind of work now, even such insignificant details have to be explained to them, and every aspect has to be covered. If it were the brothers under him in the past, they would be so smart and there would be no need for any nonsense.
Just as he was reminiscing about the past, a phone call suddenly came in. After answering the call subconsciously, it was the girl's voice. Wei Yangrong looked back and saw Chen Shikui standing at the door of the cafe, holding a mobile phone and saying something.
They were "caring" about him, asking him why he had to walk such a long distance every day, going back and forth between home and school, and how much time he spent on transportation every day?
Wei Yangrong felt annoyed and his patience was wearing thin, but he had to hold his temper and replied, "About an hour or so."
There was a sudden silence on the other end, and then he continued, "Oh, so what bus do you usually take?"
This question stumped Wei Yangrong. His eyes gradually narrowed, and he instantly realized that his plan had gone awry. He actually looked down on those self-righteous people who were always meddling in everything, wanting to know everything and daring to investigate everything. He believed that if he just fooled around, they would fall for it, so from the beginning, he hadn't taken his plans too seriously.
But now, he obviously underestimated the other party. How could a person of his status live in such a remote and dilapidated house, and how could he have taken the bus? A very simple question exposed his scam.
I casually told them a bus number I had seen on the roadside, but there was no response from the other end. They just agreed and said they would go to the old house right away, and then hung up the phone.
Did he get away with it? Did he guess right? Wei Yangrong was thinking this when he suddenly noticed the two girls moving. From a certain angle and far away, he saw the expressions on their faces and realized that these two people were not going to the old house.
He was silent for a moment, then suddenly sneered violently and said, "It's really different now. You have to think about this and that and go through so much trouble just to catch a little girl. Fuck you!"
He angrily cursed into the intercom: "Get the fucking move! Push them into the corner and do it!"
At his command, the vehicles and personnel that had been secretly following them rushed out in droves and headed towards the two women. He didn't even need to do anything himself, he ordered his men to drive and slowly follow behind, enjoying this delightful cat-and-mouse drama.
The two women were indeed very smart. When they saw the vehicles blocking their way, they reacted very quickly and started running immediately. When they saw people wearing hats and masks approaching, blocking their way back into the cafe, they quickly walked forward and went into the alley next to them, avoiding all the approaching vehicles.
But at the same time, this move was also very stupid, because no one knew the nooks and crannies of the streets and alleys of Wanghai better than those of them who were used to doing dirty and tiring work, not to mention that they had been there before.
There was almost no suspense. Just two minutes later, his men blocked the two fleeing girls at the entrance of an alley.
Logically speaking, since the person had already been caught, Wei Yangrong had no reason to show up again. According to the original plan, he tied the person into the car and left immediately, and the task assigned by the boss was completed.
But he was worried that his men might touch someone they shouldn't touch, and offend the person next to the target, or be dishonest and have thoughts that they shouldn't have, which would cause problems.
So he got out of the car, put on his hat and mask, walked into the slightly wider alley, and came to the two women who were cornered. Before he could speak, Lin Xueyan said coldly, "Do you know who I am?"
Although she appeared to be calm enough, Wei Yangrong could still tell from her slightly trembling hands under her long sleeves that she was pretending to be strong.
