A reckoning has begun, in the streets, in secret, in that tight club.
A man was tied up tightly and hung upside down on the chandelier above. He was moaning unconsciously and his face was covered in blood. It was obvious that he had not suffered a good fate. Opposite him was sitting Ji Yanghai.
Ji Yanghai said calmly, "You're old, too. I can't be so cruel and inhumane in torturing you any further. But you're being stubborn. What benefits did Wang Kai promise you that made you so devoted? I don't understand."
The man held his breath and tried to speak in a muffled voice, but was interrupted by Ji Yanghai: "Don't tell me it's loyalty. You old guys, everyone talks about loyalty all the time. The one who really has loyalty is in jail now."
The man laughed miserably and said, "You've been hunting down those five unlucky bastards for so many years. Have you ever gotten anything out of them?"
"Really not, that's why I said you are just being stubborn." Ji Yanghai shrugged helplessly.
"That's because you hate them, but not enough. Not even a hair on my head," the man said weakly. "I've watched the Wang family grow from a worthless gang to the monster they are today. I know better than anyone that you won't find any evidence."
"I just want an answer, not evidence," Ji Yanghai said. "Who was it that led those men to ambush my car? Zhang Keqi, Li Ze, or Wang Kai himself?"
The man grunted, choking out a pool of blood, and said hoarsely, "Why would you ask such an idiotic question? How do you think the Wang family made their fortune? It was by conquering cities and territories.
You are such a fucking nuisance. If I hadn't been afraid that the police that bitch would attract would have been too conspicuous to have your entire family wiped out, you should have been fucking dead long ago. It's a shame that you're still alive today. Pah!"
That's the answer.
Ji Yanghai sighed, stood up and said, "I won't kill you."
The man remained silent, knowing that there would be something even more terrifying to come. Sure enough, Ji Yanghai said, "I'll make a bomb vest for you to wear, and then send you to kindergarten. Oh, the one your granddaughter attends. Grandpa will go pick up my lovely granddaughter, but don't worry, you still have a choice."
If you think killing a child is too cruel, then you can just go home without picking her up. By then, your daughter-in-law will be cooking, your son will have just gotten off work, and your spouse will be lying in the house watching TV because of his Alzheimer's.
"How wonderful! The whole family is happy together." Ji Yanghai said deeply, "Either the elderly will send their loved ones off, or there will be one more lonely orphan in the world. It's a dilemma. You should think about it carefully."
The man started cursing, countless dirty words coming out of his mouth, but Ji Yanghai remained unmoved.
Finally, he became desperate and twisted his body like crazy. The weight of an adult dragged the fan lamp above him to the point of collapse. This was exactly what he wanted. He twisted harder and harder, and finally he got what he wanted. The fan lamp above his head fell off completely, and he fell to the ground.
Unfortunately, he failed to adjust his posture in the air, and his head hit the ground first. His fragile neck was dislocated due to friction, making a clicking sound.
Ji Yanghai waved his hands, trying to disperse the smoke and dust from the smashing of the tools, and sighed, "We've asked everything we need to ask, so why not find the real culprit?"
