The mermaid king was perched in the statue, staring dimly at Josh who was sleeping below.
He entered this copy too early, so early that he was assimilated by the laws of the plane.

"I'll open the window and ventilate it so the water won't rush." Granny Cao patted his arm kindly and walked slowly to the window to open it.
Qiao Xi: “…” The last time she came, Granny Cao didn’t have this attitude.
She narrowed her eyes and looked at Yu Ze: "Why? Are you her relative?"
Yuze smiled slightly: "Sorry, 100% favorability, maxed out."
Josh: "You actually went to the big score behind my back?! When?"

Josh's face darkened.

Yuzawa tilted his head slightly: "The little tactician taught you well."
After opening the window, Grandma Cao went to get food and drinks for Yu Ze.

Yu Ze chimed in, "We will ignore our mother-in-law. She is a nasty person and no one likes her."
Granny Cao turned to Yu Ze and immediately put on a smile: "Yeah!"
Josh: “…”
Yu Ze helped Grandma Cao sit down and said gently, "Don't be afraid, Grandma. We are just asking. We heard that the Saint was harmed by the Nightmare Queen the night before yesterday and has been in a coma until now. We are just curious and want to ask you."
"Who said that! Who said it was done by the Nightmare Queen? Who saw it? You're talking nonsense! How could anyone believe such an outrageous statement?" Grandma Cao snorted coldly.
"I believe it!" Qiao Xi seized the opportunity to say, "Didn't the good young man next to you believe it?"

He glared at Josh reproachfully, a look that seemed to say, "Why are you arguing with an old man about this?" It was obvious that he didn't believe she really knew.
Granny Cao was anxious. She pulled Yu Ze aside and lowered her voice, "Of course I know. Everyone in the village knows that the Nightmare Lady is trapped under the tower on the mountain and can't get out. But if the Nightmare Lady wants to curse and harm people, she must get the person's body hair, saliva, or the veil they have worn. How can she get these things when she is trapped under the tower? Without these things, the Nightmare Lady can't harm people at all!"
