Chapter 234 Bloody Castle 15

When a person or NPC on line A dies, someone from line B or C will replace him or her. Correspondingly, the replacements from line B or C will vacate the corresponding positions.

It is very likely that Yuze killed too many people, which caused the teammates on Aini's line to be substituted on Yuze's side, or the people on Aini's line died and were not replaced.

But the probability of this substitution seems to be random.

Qiao Xi couldn't be sure that every time she came out of the room, she entered the same castle.

She stopped dwelling on the issue and prepared to go out and explore after lunch in the afternoon.

After lunch, the maids brought the dresses to their rooms.

The man in the study last time was most likely Prince Ceci. The study is on the 4th floor, so the bedroom is most likely also on the 4th floor.

but……

She wanted to find someone who wasn't Prince Cece, who would show up in the evening, so there was no need to spend the afternoon exploring.

She knocked on Thomas' door.

"Ms. Josh, is there anything I can help you with?" Thomas was processing the documents on the table and looked much more serious.

Josh smiled apologetically: "I'm here to change rooms, are you busy?"

Thomas shook his head gentlemanly: "Of course not, please sit down and I'll make you some tea."

He smiled as he made tea, "Speaking of which, I have to thank Miss Qiao Xi for her advice. After hearing your suggestion about planting trees, His Highness Ceci asked us to do it. Sure enough, His Highness's health got much better afterwards, and his headaches disappeared. It's amazing. Because of this, His Highness is very interested in you."

"Then it's my honor!" Josh smiled, sat down next to him, and took out the room key of the man he had killed to register for Thomas to change rooms.

Thomas' office is not small. The whole room is filled with dark and rustic mahogany-style furniture, a gorgeous and intricate cashmere blanket on the floor, and an oil lamp on the table.

Because it was on the first floor, although the windows were large, they were blocked by the thorns and roses outside.

There was a pile of castle affairs papers on his desk that needed to be attended to, and he had to light several lamps.

Josh looked around the office and said with a smile, "Mr. Thomas, you are really dedicated. Even in such a dark environment, you still work so hard. How much does it strain your eyes?"

Thomas smiled, poured her a cup of tea, and handed it to her respectfully: "There is nothing we can do about it. There are too many things to deal with in the entire castle. If we don't deal with them in one day, they will only pile up more."

"Hard-working Mr. Thomas, why don't you ask the maids to clear away some of the thorns outside? That way your room will be brighter." Josh asked.

Thomas' eyes flickered as he glanced at the thorns outside: "You don't like these?"

Josh denied with a smile: "Of course not, I just think it's too hurtful for your eyes to work in such a dark environment."

Thomas also laughed: "That's true. In recent years, my eyes have gradually become unable to see far away."
