The overly dark eyes swept across the faces of everyone present one by one, and a creepy feeling as if hair was entangled around the ankles instantly crept up on him.
Wawa laughed strangely, as if there was a broken fan in his throat, and his laughter was sharp and broken: "If you die on the fourth floor, no one will collect your bodies."
Josh and others followed her into the corridor.
There are not many rooms on both sides of the corridor. The doors are pitch black, and the sunken door frames are like a bottomless black hole with an abyss inside.
Josh stared at the door frame, frowning slightly.
Rob leaned close to Josh's ear and lowered his voice: "Little tactician, do you think these rooms are weird? There seem to be words on the door frames and doors..."
Josh nodded: “Yeah.”
At first glance, these dark doors look like huge tombstones.
Pushing open the door and walking inside, you will see a lifeless tomb.
The doll stopped in front of a door and said, "Two people per room, you can decide your roommates by yourselves, but be quick. If you hesitate, you will be killed."
Qiao Xi subconsciously looked at Yu Ze.
Yu Ze received her gaze, raised his eyebrows, and a happy smile appeared in his eyes.
"Little sister, can I share a room with you?" Xiao Wu grabbed Qiao Xi's sleeve and said, "There are only two girls here..."
Qiao Xi then remembered that there was someone else in the team, and she nodded: "Of course."
Yu Ze silently retracted his smile and stared at Xiao Wu with a sinister look.
Xiao Wu glanced at him in confusion, and was frightened by his terrifying expression. He quickly retracted his sight and hid behind Qiao Xi.
This guy is so scary. I always feel that he is more dangerous than these dolls and monsters here.
Qiao Xi and Xiao Wu entered the first room.
Naturally, the others had no objections and shared a room with two people.
All players' rooms are on the same side.
Wawa looked at them and suddenly said, "Oh, by the way, the neighbors across the street may have bad tempers, so don't disturb them when they sleep at night. Otherwise, if there is a dispute, we won't be able to mediate."
The words are of course self-explanatory.
Qiao Xi said nothing and went into the room with Xiaowu.
The room was simply decorated with some simple furniture, a large bed, no windows, a ceiling light, and a small bathroom next to it.
Unlike the eerie blue-green atmosphere outside, the lights in the room were dim and the walls were a rustic gray-brown. At first glance, it looked like an old house that had been covered in dust for more than a decade. There were no scratches on the walls, but they were all dust.
There was also a layer of dust on the bed, making it impossible to sleep.
Xiao Wu also noticed it, and she said considerately: "How about I clean up first, and you sit over here for a while."
Josh nodded and didn't refuse.
Xiaowu lifted the bed and saw a pile of dirt on it.
She frowned: "Why is there so much dirt?"
Josh didn't say anything. Not only was the bed covered in dirt, but the entire room was filled with a unique earthy smell.
Xiaowu went to the bathroom and wrung out a handkerchief to wipe the table.
She raised her head and her eyes fell on the mirror above the sink, but suddenly she saw a child with blood all over his face smiling at her in the mirror.
"Ah!!" Xiao Wu screamed and quickly threw the rag away. He stepped back and fell out of the bathroom.
"What's wrong?" Josh walked over.
Xiao Wu pointed at the mirror and trembled: "Mirror... there is someone in the mirror!"
Josh walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, and there was no one but herself.
She knew that even if she moved into the room on the fourth floor, it would not be peaceful.
She turned to look at Xiao Wu: "It's okay, I just want to scare you, it shouldn't be a problem for the time being."
Xiao Wu was about to cry: "For now...for now...?"
Qiao Xi thought about it, and casually drew a talisman with a pen and paper and handed it to her: "Take it, you hold this, that thing dare not get close to you."
Xiao Wu quickly took out the talisman paper: "Thank you... Thank you."
She didn't know if it was her illusion, but after getting the talisman paper, she felt a cool feeling from the talisman paper seeping into the palm of her hand and then flowing into her forehead. She was instantly soothed and her fear faded a lot.
Josh glanced around the bathroom.
She didn't use a spell to purify the bathroom, nor did she set up a barrier in the room. If she had, wouldn't it have taken away a lot of the fun?
Qiao Xi returned to the room, made a hand gesture and passed it in front of his eyes, and a blue light flashed by.
Sure enough, the dirt on the bed and the dust on the wall were all illusions.
She walked to the bed, pulled back the covers and lay down.
Xiao Wu quickly reminded: "It's all dirt, very dirty..."
Josh waved his hand: "Sorry, I'm too tired. I'll take a rest first."
A trace of confusion flashed across Xiaowu's face. Seeing that Qiao Xi didn't mind, she didn't know what to say and sat down on the other side of the bed.
Time passed little by little, Xiaowu rubbed her eyes tiredly, but suddenly she saw a doll's head sticking out from under the bed, lying on its back looking at her, with blood all over its face.
"Ah!!" Xiaowu was startled and instinctively jumped up, pulling his legs back into the bed, not caring whether the bed was covered with dirt.
Josh next to him yawned: “Go to sleep, you can’t see anything if you close your eyes.”
Xiao Wu cried: "But...but there is someone under the bed..."
Qiao Xi nodded: "Not only are there people under the bed, but there are also people on the bed, in the corners, on the ceiling, in the toilet, and in the toilet. It's really lively."
Xiaowu cried even more and broke down: "Wuwu, what should we do...We won't die here, right? How about we go find them? Will it be better if we all get together in one room?"
Qiao Xi glanced at her and said, "Didn't you hear what the front desk said? Only two people can stay in each room, and once you enter the room, don't leave casually before dawn."
Xiaowu also knew that her words were illogical and unconvincing, but when she was scared she couldn't help but want to talk to distract herself. Otherwise she would always imagine when the doll under the bed would crawl out, or if a hand would suddenly reach out from the side of the bed.
Josh yawned and closed his eyes to rest.
Xiaowu stuck close to her cautiously, with a string in his head stretched tightly as if it would break at any time.
The room was unusually quiet.
All she could almost hear was her own nervous breathing.
Suddenly, there was a sound of dripping water coming from the bathroom.
Each drop fell faster than the last, and the sound was sticky, not like water but more like some slightly sticky liquid.
Xiaowu was 100% sure that he had tightened the faucet.
And there was no sound just now, why did the faucet suddenly leak?
She swallowed nervously and pushed the person next to her: "Little sister, little sister, did you hear the sound of water in the bathroom?"
Josh didn’t speak.
She was so scared that she couldn't help but push him: "Little sister, listen! Is there the sound of water in the bathroom?"
Xiao Wu, who hadn't received a response for a long time, felt his heart suddenly sank and his whole body froze in an instant.
Her eyes moved stiffly in Josh's direction, and when she saw Josh's face with his eyes closed, she breathed a sigh of relief: "Josh?"
She called her name tentatively.
