Compared to milk tea, fruit tea is more refreshing and delicious.
In particular, Lu Wu used perfume lemon, which has a sweeter and more refreshing scent. The sourness is still present, but it is more mellow and will not make people feel the unpleasant feeling of sourness.
Even though the old monk was trying this fruit tea for the first time, he couldn't imagine how such a simple tea could taste so good, even after watching the entire process.
The coolness of the ice cubes, combined with the rich aroma of the black tea, exploded in my mouth.
The lemon aroma is long-lasting, and upon careful tasting, you can taste subtle bitterness, which comes from both the black tea and the lemon.
Their presence doesn't worsen the taste of lemon tea; on the contrary, it adds layers and enhances the flavor.
The sweet and sour flavors combined to create an ultimate taste sensation, and the old monk's mouth seemed to have a mind of its own, biting the straw and refusing to let go.
The slight bitterness of lemon and the crispness of its pulp blend perfectly in the black tea, and upon careful tasting, one can savor the subtle sweetness hidden deep within.
The aroma of tea and fruit intertwines, light and not heavy – this is how Lu Wu describes lemon tea. One sip leaves a lingering fragrance on your lips and teeth.
Lu Wu was very satisfied with his craftsmanship, and the old monk was equally pleased with the finished product.
He held the cup and slowly savored it.
Compared to this lemon tea, even the rarest spiritual teas pale in comparison.
Thinking about the spiritual teas he had secretly kept in the cupboard, the old monk decided to go back and give them away.
There's no comparison.
Before I knew it, I had finished a cup of lemon tea.
The old monk rubbed his belly, a hint of enjoyment on his aged face.
He squinted, feeling the changes in his body for a while, before cheerfully saying, "Benefactor, you look unfamiliar. Did you just start setting up your stall here today?"
"right."
Lu Wu had nothing to hide about this.
"How long do you plan to set up your stall here?"
"Seven days, I guess."
"Seven days? That's a bit short. Have you thought about making it longer?"
"I haven't considered it yet."
The two exchanged questions and answers as if it were just a casual chat, but Lu Wu sensed that the other person was testing something.
"Ahem, Master, I only sell milk tea."
She doesn't sell herself, much less to Buddhist temples.
"You're quite clever for your age."
The old monk did not deny it.
The old monk tugged at his beard, his eyes darting around, still plotting something.
There were no female disciples in Tianfo Temple before, but it's not impossible to open a back door now, since he believes this female benefactor has a deep affinity with Buddhism.
A promising talent with a connection to Buddhism.
The old monk was about to say something when his ears suddenly twitched. He looked into the Tianfo Temple with a surprised expression.
"We have an unwelcome guest, benefactor. We'll see you later."
After saying this, he picked up a broom and headed towards Tianfo Temple. As he passed the young monk, he slapped him on the bald head.
"Don't overthink it. This lady is fine. If you have nothing else to do, go buy a cup of milk tea. It'll do you good."
Ignoring the young monk's surprise and doubt, the old monk vanished in a flash.
In a small courtyard of Tianfo Temple, the old monk's residence, he had just walked in when someone kicked him in the buttocks.
The old monk, who had just looked like a highly accomplished monk, rubbed his buttocks and looked at the old man who had appeared in the courtyard, not daring to be angry or speak.
"Senior, what brings you here?"
Wherever Lu Wu refreshes, Grandpa Li will appear there.
He stood with his hands behind his back, his eyes glaring at the old monk, and he let out a cold laugh.
"If I don't come, am I supposed to just watch you lure my precious granddaughter into your monastery?"
“Let me tell you, old monk, if you dare to make my granddaughter become a nun, I will tear down your Tianfo Temple.”
"I always keep my word."
Grandpa Li exuded an aura of dominance, his imposing presence so overwhelming that even the old monk had to avoid him.
"Ahem, so you are your granddaughter, senior? What a coincidence! We are family."
The old monk, thick-skinned and unconcerned about Grandpa Li's anger, didn't care.
Instead, they started making tea for Grandpa Li.
It uses the finest spiritual tea.
This small courtyard seemed unaffected by the demon-sealing formation, with spiritual energy flowing naturally.
A moment later, the spiritual tea was ready.
The old monk poured a cup of tea and placed it in front of Grandpa Li: "Senior, have some tea and calm down."
After glancing at the clear tea, Grandpa Li sneered and then took out a cup of milk tea from his storage space.
"Even a dog wouldn't drink this tea."
In Grandpa Li's hand is a cup of authentic milk tea. The rich tea soup has a charming sweet aroma, which is quite different from that of lemon tea.
It looks delicious.
The old monk's eyes widened in astonishment.
After a moment of silence, he put the pot of spiritual tea aside.
"Senior is right, even dogs wouldn't drink this spiritual tea."
"Senior, look at me..."
The old monk rubbed his hands together like a fly, his eyes filled with a desire to drink.
Just as the two old men were outwitting each other, outside Tianfo Temple, a young monk came to Lu Wu's stall with his chubby cheeks.
"My senior brother and uncle both say you are a good person, and I believe they wouldn't lie to me."
“But I will keep an eye on you, and if you do anything bad to Tianfo Temple, I will not let you off the hook.”
The young monk was very pure.
Even when making threatening remarks, his eyes remain clear and innocent.
Upon seeing the little monk like this, Lu Wu was immediately seized by a wicked impulse, and his smiling face instantly turned gloomy.
She stared at the little monk with a cold gaze and a chilling tone.
"Now that you've found out, don't blame me, little monk, hehehe..."
After the classic villainous laugh, Lu Wu was waiting for the little monk to retaliate, but to his surprise, the little monk stood there with his mouth wide open, as if he had been stunned.
